We loved staying at Sanghyang Bay Villas. The rooms and bathrooms were spacious and clean, the grounds beautiful and well maintained, nice and quiet (always plenty of sun loungers), so close to Mushroom Bay beach and many restaurants and warungs. The beach is the best on the island, most boats are out during the day so there is plenty of space to swim. Being able to refill water bottles was great, and so were the happy hour deals. The staff were lovely and friendly, very helpful, and helped to arrange our boat transfers which included pick up and drop off at both ends. We would definitely like to return to stay again. Small, intimate resort, great pool, beachfront restaurant. Helpful staff, comfortable bungalow. Absolutely loved our family stay on this island and after driving around the island in a golf buggy I realised we were definitely in the best spot.

Music in the restaurant was a bit too loud - sometimes made us go and eat elsewhere. Maybe some more comfortable outdoor furniture on the patio although pool loungers were great.

Everything about this place was amazing. From the moment we checked in and then received an upgrade to the sad day when we checked out! The property is a cozy, comfortable, quiet and very well organised and maintained compound in a very busy area. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who were always available. I would recommend the Superior Deluxe Villas - they are quite new and have an outdoor bathroom which I love.

I have only positives about this place!!

The staff were very friendly accommodating and extremely prompt! The lovely gentleman was there to greet us with a smile at the end of the yellow bridge as we came across from Ceningan. When we checked out they helped us all take our suitcases to Mushroom Bay to catch our ferry back to Sanur once again with a smile. Staff were always maintaining the gardens ever so clean and tidy! You could lay under the palm trees near the pool on the lush green grass! They also had 2 hammocks under the palm trees by the pool .. so relaxing. The pool was exceptionally clean. A lovely young gentleman will come around and ask us each night if we wanted our room sprayed with mosquito spray before bed. They would spray and close the mosquito net over your bed ready for bedtime. Mind you we barely saw or had any mosquito's in our hut anyway .. didn't get bitten once. They have a filtering water machine you can use 24/7. We still bought bottled water but filled up bottles for brushing our teeth. Was a quiet place .. Not a lot of villas or huts so not many people .. you could always find a sunbed to lay on Just loved that we were walking distance to Mushroom Bay and a nice quiet casual stroll to the eateries. We'll definitely be back and try out the villas next time .. this time round we were in the huts. Highly recommend this place!

Our friends did say it got a bit noisy at night as their hut backed onto the road .. which is just common in most places we've stayed in Bali anyway. Our hut was further inside we didn't hear a single thing!

Great location, loved the sunsets. There was a Bali myna singing over our hut every day. The pool was great. Could have stayed another few days easily! Loved the manta ray trip, snorkelling was great. Nusa Penida was busy and hot otherwise.

The beach isn't really for swimming. Lots of boats. It'd be nice if they put the boats to one end and left some space for swimming. I also didn't pay for breakfast as there were lots of options around and it seemed a bit pricey.

Location very close to the beach, very short walk from getting off the ferry (don't need a taxi), and within walking distance of eateries and shops - v.convenient! Their restaurant is a few steps away on the beach, great food and music, tealight candles on the tables overlooking the beach. Good menu for breakfast/lunch too and charged to your room. Loved my room (Villa11), v.private at the end of the path and had a wee fountain pool with carp and a turtle in it. Comfy bed/pillows with lovely draped mosquito net. Big sofa. Bathroom was a bit rustic but didn't bother me as hot shower was great with good water pressure. Good aircon, WiFi and fridge with icebox. They encourage you to refill your supplied water bottles from the cold-water dispenser to reduce plastic bottles 👍. Loved the decent-size pool, tepid/warm with sun's heat, and lovely subdued lighting around the garden)pool area at night. Loved the accommodation and area enough to book another 2 nights (originally booked just 2 nights). To be able to do that, I needed to move to another (higher grade) room (# 4), which was still awesome but I preferred # 11. Appreciated the drying rack and hot-water kettle supplied in both villas. Both rooms had enough space to practice (beginner) yoga.

Villa 11 had a leaky bottom-washing toilet hose but there was a channel around the loo so the (clean) water didn't venture onto the bathroom floor - not an issue for me but may be for others. In Villa 4, there were 3 steps up to the door, then once inside, to get to the bathroom, you open a door outward onto 3 steps down into an outdoor bathroom area. Still nice but not so convenient. Villa 4's door was a little awkward to lock. None of this would stop me booking here again, I LOVED staying here.

Budi & his staff looked were so welcoming & friendly. And looked after all of us really well. We were a group of 17 celebrating a birthday. Great location just back from the beautiful Mushroom Beach. Very short walk to a good breakfast menu with magnificent views of the bay. Food was really good. We had various lunches & dinners. Food & drinks delivered to pool area was really appreciated. Restaurants nearby, gift shops, laundry and massages. Would recommend 100%. We will return. Thanks Budi & your team for making our stay just wonderful.

A beautiful little spot! The grounds are beautiful and the family huts we stayed in were very clean and comfortable. All the staff were so friendly and helpful, and always had a smile and hello for us which made us feel very welcomed and taken care of. The accommodation is just a short stroll away from mushroom Bay Beach. We hired a buggy for a day which was such a great way to explore the island and allowed us to easily go to the busier beach or different parts of the island to try different restaurants, cafes and to find some shops.

We would definitely stay here again but would choose one of the other family accommodation units. The huts were lovely to stay in; beautiful, clean and comfortable, but unfortunately very noisy with music from nearby bar and the temple just behind. Interestingly, the music was much quieter and not intrusive when outside but was very loud in our hut. We think it must be the shape of the huts somehow amplifying the sound! The pool could be cooler. It's more a tepid temperature so not very refreshing when you are hot.

Such a well maintained and presented resort. The Villa was terrific, very comfortable bed, spacious indoor living and with a generous external deck. Lockable safe in the room. External open air bathroom was delightful and included everything you need. The pool and grounds very well kept and beautiful. Easy walk from the harbour although we were greeted upon arrival and escorted with luggage assistance to the accommodation all of approx. 30 meters down the track. Staff very helpful, friendly and accommodating with every need including tour of the islands arranged. Breky on the beach overlooking the ocean watching the boats arrive. Great daily coffee (3 shots) at mushroom cafe (quirky funky and cool) less than 10 metres further down on your right. Local and rustic Gym a good 1.9k walk through the village and uphill. Warm up already done. Our stay was unreal and we look forward to doing it all again for longer next visit. Many thanks Sanghyang villa and friends 🙏

The property is beautiful, we had a 2 bedroom villa which was super comfy and spacious with an outside deck. There is a large pool surrounded by a beautiful garden with hammocks and swings which the kids loved. The hotel restaurant is a 2min walk with the most stunning beach views of mushroom bay. There are also plenty of cafes and restaurants on the main street nearby within a 5 minute walk and a mini mart next door. Lia in reception is super helpful and can organise excursions snorkelling and boat trips, and also a taxi to other parts of the island.
