The Chambre D'hôte De La Rotterie is nestled in a little hamlet in the French countryside, yet only 20 minutes away from several towns including of course Le Mans. Communication was great, I received a lovely warm welcome and the accommodation was exactly as expected. Perfect!

Beautiful setting, very friendly and helpful owner. The swimming pool was a welcome relief after a long journey and 40C heat!

There was no provision for an evening meal, which is fair enough, but it meant arriving at 7pm we had to rush to a local supermarket for some bread and cheese. Some early recommendations of local places to eat would have been very welcome.

Wonderful stopover on route down to Bordeaux. Beautiful location. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. The swimming pool was wonderful after a long day in the car. Would absolutely recommend and will certainly stay there again!

Nothing! Superb place to stay.

The breakfast was as expected, good selection of fruit, bread and jams. Coffee was good. Location was a bit out of the way but found by the use of a satnav.

The fact that no establishment was near to purchase an evening meal. Could state on the website that restraunts are not close to the establishment so you could stop on the way.

The location was peaceful, beautifully maintained and had a warm swimming pool to refresh in after a long drive. We were made very welcome and had everything we needed as a family.

The whole experience was excellent. The host was very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and delivered to our door. We also had access to a good sized pool. We would definitely stay here again.

Really lovely cabin, set in the owners beautiful garden. Very clean, good selection of tea and coffee. Lovely continental breakfast delivered to our cabin.

Route from the motorway was a little convoluted.

A complete gem of a place. The accommodation was lovely, the pool beautifully warm, and the grounds stunning. Very welcoming and would definitely stay again on our way to/back from the South France from UK. The host spoke excellent English too. We also stumbled across the fact you can drive on parts of the Le Man's 24 hrs race track just 10 minutes away!

Really lovely place. Great for us as a stop off point on our way down to south west of France. We were all so happy to jump in the pool after 11 hours in the car. Ordered some pizza in local village which was good. Hosts were great and everything was clean and tidy.

Loved the location, beautiful property. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family. Wonderful hosts who provided a very tasty continental breakfast with home grown strawberries and home made jam. It was clean and beautifully presented.

Bed was comfortable but a bit creaky.
