The staff were excellent. They notified us of a valuable item we left behind by accident, and posted it for us as we'd already hit the halfway mark back to Calais. All arrived, well protected and fast. Many thanks :) We arrived at breakfast towards the end of the slot and sometimes the hot options were running low. They were topped up though, just not immediately. We just waited with a coffee so no real problem. I would have preferred hot pancakes, but the kids enjoyed them! The rooms were roomy and showers nice. We had to have 2 rooms for 2 adults and 3 kids so a family room would be a fab addition but it was excellent value irrespectively. The pool was great with plenty of chairs around it and was open until 9pm so weary travellers can refresh and kids let off steam before bed, after being in the car all day. Lots for kids actually with a play park, gardens and a play area in reception to keep them entertained while you check in. All in all a thoughtfully put together rest stop which we'll definitely use again.

Lovely modern interior decor. Spacious modern room, very large comfortable bed. Modern bathroom, hot strong shower. Lovely pool and outdoor seating, garden area and bar for sundowners. Great, varied food and service in restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Friendly welcoming reception staff. Couldn't fault it one bit,.not sure how people could have any complaints, especially for the bargain price.

Probably not the most salubrious location but was fine for an overnight stop off enroute north

Location is perfect, the staff is friendly, the breakfast was good.

It would have been nice if the bar stayed open till midnight as I often arrive only at 1130 (being a transit stop). There is always a receptionist so it would be great if they could also work the bar (even to just offer a drink from the fridge). Also a free bottle of water would be a nice touch that could be implemented. Also I have never seen the pool in use. If its heated I would happily use it even if the sky is a bit cloudy.

Quirky and comfortable public spaces. Free parking. Nice garden with small pool. Restaurant quite good. Room was small but had all that was needed. Good place for an overnight stop. Good for families I would say.

The location is on the outskirts of town with nowhere local to really walk around and no nearby restaurants or bars, but for a short overnight stay it provided all that was needed. Pillows were very uncomfortable on the bed - felt very cheap, old and collapsed.

The property is clean, the rooms were large enough for a family of four; convenient for motorway en route to the South of France and the piece de resistance for our children (and adults) a pool to cool off in and relax in. Obviously this may not be a destination where you would spend a whole holiday, but for a pitstop it is absolutely brilliant. The food was more than acceptable in the restaurant too and breakfast had something for everyone.

Receptionist was really friendly, reception area interesting, modern, clean, breakfast area was great and the breakfast itself was thoroughly enjoyable. Rooms were great. Being seconds from the tram station was great. Le Mans Old Town is beautiful and easy to get to by tram.

The halls, corridors, stairwells still show signs that it’s an old hotel that’s been modernised. The area surrounding isn’t brilliant but for a one night stop and to visit city centre it is. Pool was cold!

Family travelling stayed at Novotel as a stopover. Staff all friendly and helpful. Games available for children. Ate in Restaurant all staff friendly and food was nice Kids menu was 12 euro chose a main and a side eg fried egg, fish, then chips , mash etc and dessert. My youngest is fussier and struggled to find something to eat, so he had some chips and bits from our plate . Chips were 5 euros. Pool putside with sunbeds but water was very cold. Small outside playarea. Rooms comfortable and clean.

Idéal for a short stay with family. Breakfast buffet has a large good selection. Swimming pool was really really with sun loungers. Bedroom very comfortable. Great bathroom with shower. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Family room consists of a double bed + sofa bed. Although comfortable they do reduce space considerably within the bedroom.

The hotel was a great location for a stop off on our journey through France. The hotel was well situated close to the motorway but there was a tram stop right outside which means you can take a short ride into the city. The hotel was quiet with a lovely park area at the back with sports facilities. The hotel itself has a lovely outdoor area with bar, play area and small pool. The breakfast was good value- €19 and children were free.

There was no coffee in the room- just tea.

Perfect location for a stop off overnight stay on our journey through France. The swimming pool provided a break and the restaurant provided prompt service and tasty food. Family room was spacious and clean.

Wasn't as close the the centre of Le Mans as I first thought it might have been but that didn't detract from our stay.
