The hostess Sylvie and her husband were lovely people, very friendly. They made sure we were comfortable and Sylvie made a beautiful breakfast with lots of homemade foods, even fresh eggs from her little girls (chickens) from her cottage. Quite tasty! She always had fresh bread, apple sauce and fresh honey from her neighbors' hives. She recommended nice restaurants and interesting places to visit in LeMans. The room was very comfy with electric shudders so the room was very dark, good to sleep a little later if you wanted. We had the whole top floor for ourselves.

Just one little pet cow would be the best!

My host Sylvie was great. We had a lovely conversation and she made me feel very welcome. The breakfast was homemade jams, yoghurt, cake.. delightful. The mini apartment I had was so nice, just 1 night wasn’t enough to fully enjoy it. Location was easy using Uber and quiet. You really have to go to experience the fun of staying in such a special home.

Great experience!! The hostess is kind and she really knows how to get people talking during breakfast time. You’ll really enjoy the breakfast not only bcuz of her homemade traditional French dishes but also by the interesting talks with her. Plus, she’ll also recommend you how to explore the city, which really helps. Also, the space was big and decoration are good.

It might be a little bit hard to find since it’s basically their home with no notice. But it’s okay, it makes you feel like a Le Mans citizen haha.

A warm welcome from the host (Sylvie) and overview of the spacious accommodation including bedroom, separate lounge area and bathroom. The breakfast included home made preserves and tasty treats which were a wonderful start to the day. An excellent location for exploring Le Mans old city with expert advice from our host.

Nothing not to dislike

Sylvie is a truly outstanding host. She and her husband could not be more welcoming, more lovely or more interesting. The rooms were beautifully decorated, the house itself is a gem. I could have looked around her quirky and arty decor for hours. The location is also very handy, and we walked into town, given good advice by our hostess. Breakfast was also delicious and home made jams etc were so welcome that I bought five jars to take home with me!

This accommodation is on the top floor of a beautiful old town house on a quiet street within 5 minutes of the medieval old town of Le Mans. The suite is spacious with a separate lounge, the bed was very comfortable, there's a fabulous bathroom and there is interesting artwork, antiques and curios throughout the house. Our hosts were warm, knowledgable about the area and very helpful. Breakfast was delicious with juice, coffee, pastries and homemade preserves and jams. We stayed for 2 nights and it was very comfortable. Good for a single person or couple.

We are very long-legged (2m+) and the small standalone loo was small - luckily enough privacy to leave the door open. The shower room was a beautiful and functional room , though.

Everything! Sylvie and Xavier are very nice hosts and they look really well after the accommodation and their guests. The room is located on the top floor of a charming house. It includes the bedroom, private bathroom and toilet as well as living room area. The breakfast is very tasty and home made. Sylvie is very hospitable and more than happy to answer any questions and tell more about Le Mans.

Very large suite at the top of the house with a lounge room, bedroom, bathroom and separate toilet. Sylvie is incredibly warm and welcoming - we felt like we were welcomed into her family. She helped with luggage, played with our 2 year old and made us feel like nothing was too much trouble. We were able to park on the road (very luckily!) for free, but there's a paid for more secure carpark available if you so wish. A 5-10 minute really pleasant walk into the main square/centre of town, through a lovely area. A lovely way to finish our trip to France on the way back to the eurotunnel.

Sylvie is a lovely host who gives perfect info of everything that is available on the very cosy appartment. Very nice bed and private shower, private reading-room. Good typical French breakfast with homemade yohurt and marmelades. Good tips to go for dinner. Free bottle of water and coffee making facilities.
