An unforgettable stay in a truly special place! We really enjoyed our time in Le Mans – and a big part of that was thanks to this fantastic accommodation. The apartments couldn’t have been more beautiful: spacious, tastefully furnished, and spotlessly clean. The house itself is over 500 years old and has been lovingly restored and maintained – truly impressive! Our host was wonderful: she fulfilled every wish we had for breakfast, gave us excellent restaurant recommendations, and shared fascinating historical insights about the city. We felt welcome from the very first moment and would love to come back!

I chose this place because of the great reviews and what looked like to be comfortable accommodations for the two of us. We like space and third story room allowed for that. The location was in the middle of an ancient village oozing with character and history. There were many options for meals. Our host, Manuela, left great provisions for a leisurely breakfast of coffee, fruit, juice and delicious fresh brioche, that we enjoyed in what became our “home” for three days. Manuela was helpful in every way and we explored and enjoyed the visit to Lemans. Don’t miss visiting Saint Julien, I believe the largest church in France. Lucky us, we were there the week before the 24 Hour race and enjoyed the “scrutiny” and parade of cars five minutes from Logis Saint-Flaceau. Our stay was a delight. Though shopping is not high on our list, for those who like to shop, there was plenty to choose from.

The apartment was immaculate. Full of character, interesting artwork and books and all the facilities you could possibly need. The bed was super comfortable, the bathroom sparkling clean with a great shower. Thank you Manuela for taking the time to welcome us so well, for the aperitif, the restaurant recommendation, the tour of your absolutely beautiful garden. What was incredible was that, unbeknown to me, my best friend Laura had stayed in the exact room the night before!! We obviously both have good taste!

Everything was amazing, from the detailed instructions beforehand and the fact that we could preorder our breakfast, to the location of the gorgeous old house right in the centre of the old town. The owner was charming and we shared an aperitif with her. The property of full of charm, lovingly restored and decorated. The 'bedroom' is in fact a good sized apartment, with a view over the town. There is everything to make the stay a 'home from home' and everything is sparkling clean. I would come back to Le Mans just to stay here again, and to talk more with Manuela.

A fantastic apartment in the heart of Le Mans. The host was exceptionally friendly and helpful, making the entire experience very enjoyable. The apartment itself was large, clean, and well-equipped with everything you might need for a comfortable stay. Housed in an historical building in the old town, it had a unique charm and character that added to the overall appeal. There are many nice restaurants very close to the apartment. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Le Mans! It’s a perfect blend of modern comfort and historical ambiance.

it's worth noting that there is no immediate car parking available by the property. That said, there is a modern underground car park with electric charging points just a 5-minute walk away.

Exceptional accommodation in a house dating back to 1520. The suite was very spacious with a kitchen accessible through a small stone doorway. It is equipped with everything you might need, even the refrigerator is filled with delicious breakfast items. Everything is absolutely neat and tidy and very comfortable. Manuela, the hostess, is exceptionally kind and caring. She made us feel welcome and at home really. Dear Manuela, again thank you for the great conversation and your amiability!

This apartment was beautiful, and the terrace garden was so romantic. Our location was perfect for walking to all the historic attractions in Le Mans and the city car park for our car. The apartment was part of a building from 16c, the old timber beams, and the medieval stone stair case all added to its charm. We had a lovely view of the old town and watched swallows and swift flying in the late summer evening. Our host welcomed us personally and made sure we were cared for in every way. Manuela, thank you again!

The property was fantastic. To be able to stay in a historic building that has been beautifully renovated and in such a convenient location just added to the experience of the town. We walked everywhere as only a few minutes to restaurants and shops, plus it is already on and part of the historic walking trail. I can highly recommend the accommodation and the wonderful host who went out of her way to accommodate us (even gluten free breakfast). Added bonus was having an English speaking host.

Nothing not to like.

Beautifully decorated apartment and extremely comfortable bed. Manuela could not have been more attentive, leaving us a delicious little apple tart as well as bread and croissants for breakfast. Most amazing array of jams to put in them, as well. Very well positioned, right in the heart of the old town, a stones throw from the cathedral, which is one of the most beautiful that we have visited. Manuela also helped us with supper and gave us an aperitif in her charming garden. Absolutely 5 ⭐.
