Everything was amazing, from the detailed instructions beforehand and the fact that we could preorder our breakfast, to the location of the gorgeous old house right in the centre of the old town. The owner was charming and we shared an aperitif with her. The property of full of charm, lovingly restored and decorated. The 'bedroom' is in fact a good sized apartment, with a view over the town. There is everything to make the stay a 'home from home' and everything is sparkling clean. I would come back to Le Mans just to stay here again, and to talk more with Manuela.

A fantastic apartment in the heart of Le Mans. The host was exceptionally friendly and helpful, making the entire experience very enjoyable. The apartment itself was large, clean, and well-equipped with everything you might need for a comfortable stay. Housed in an historical building in the old town, it had a unique charm and character that added to the overall appeal. There are many nice restaurants very close to the apartment. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Le Mans! It’s a perfect blend of modern comfort and historical ambiance.

it's worth noting that there is no immediate car parking available by the property. That said, there is a modern underground car park with electric charging points just a 5-minute walk away.

The property was fantastic. To be able to stay in a historic building that has been beautifully renovated and in such a convenient location just added to the experience of the town. We walked everywhere as only a few minutes to restaurants and shops, plus it is already on and part of the historic walking trail. I can highly recommend the accommodation and the wonderful host who went out of her way to accommodate us (even gluten free breakfast). Added bonus was having an English speaking host.

Nothing not to like.

A beautiful 500 year old stone tower all to ourselves, a stunning 3 level patio garden bursting with charm and a wonderful hostess who made us so welcome and was so very helpful with advice on where to go and what to do to make the most of our short stay - although we only passed through Le Mans for 24 hours this was indeed the highlight of our holiday! The property is located in the ancient part of the city on cobbled streets where tiny cafés, such interesting craft shops and street art markets as well as the old cathedral and historical Roman walls converge to ensure an immersion in the enchanting world of medieval Le Mans. We very highly recommend this property!

Truly - nothing!!

Manuela’s house is a wonderful place to stay. It’s in the beautiful, historically fascinating old town of Le Mans, but is in walking distance to the newer parts of the city. Each of the apartments is charmingly and stylishly decorated in keeping with the age of the house, but also with every modern facility you could want. Having a small kitchen area is a real boon. The beds are excellent and everything is spotlessly clean. Manuela is a warm, generous and very interesting host and we recommend her place wholeheartedly.

Logis Saint-Flaceau is a truly exceptional place to stay. Manuela is a wonderful host, who made us feel warmly welcome from the start, as well as a most interesting person to talk to. She runs a place so full of history and charme it is difficult to know where to begin - from the location of the building on top of the Gallo-Roman ramparts, its late medieval/early modern architecture, Manuela's tasteful design, the spaciousness of the rooms, ... Manuela has created a very, very special place. It is just perfect.

Manuela is courteous and kind and is all about making sure her guests are comfortable. The property is situated close to the magnificent cathedral and the Roman walls and is part of the old town! Manuela has recommendations for restaurants and museums too such a convenient stay for day or night walkabouts in town!

Our room did not have a kitchen. Could’ve used a mini fridge.

Manuela was the most outstanding host! She is extremely gracious, personable and interesting. The apartment was roomy, well decorated and the kitchen was stocked with all types of local goodies from baguettes, cheese, wine, homemade preserves , milk for the coffee etc.. Manuela invited us for some wine and appetizers before our dinner reservation, she talked about the history of this magnificent home, our regret is that we did not have more time to chat before we had to leave for dinner. In addition, in the morning she gave us a tour of the garden, we only wish we had another night in this lovely home!

A fantastic location in the old town. What beautiful accommodation behind the 500 year old front door. . Manuela could not have been more obliging, and with a separate bedroom, lounge room, kitchen and bathroom all of quality fittings. We felt so at home. Worth the inconvenience of parking the car, but with the help of Manuelas it was easy. I did not want to leave. Thanks Manuela for a lovely stay.

We liked everything here. We are not even going to complain about the two flights of stairs we walked up. From check in, the host is the best. We really liked her. This place is not your ordinary hotel/guest house. Very unique. Very charming. Location is perfect. The shower was great. This place is like an apartment. The host left us breakfast for the morning which is wonderful. Did I say we really liked the host. Would have liked to spend more nights here.

Finding the guest house is difficult but the host sends detailed info to assist (I didn't read, but this is not her faulty). I didn't like that we only spent one night here.
