The property is located next to a beautiful church in a charming square and is full of old French charm. the free parking right outside is a bonus and we were met by a helpful local lady. The room was charming, full of character, old like being in a period French film, very romantic with amazing picture windows that fling open onto the square. The room is clean and comfortable and the property, in the old town is walking distance to reastaurants and bars. The breakfast was pleasant and tasty with local bakes, preserves and cereals to get you on your way. The garden is very pretty and the short stay was most enjoyable. Thanks Bridgette.

Because of the age of the building the plumbing is not as perfect as you might expect with the loo a little tricky to flush and the shower a touch tempramental.

Such a fabulous location next to the old town, beautiful property. Bedroom bright, clean with such a comfortable bed with quality bedding. Wonderful welcome, you were really made to feel comfortable and that you mattered as a guest. Continental breakfast, fresh breads/croissants, fruit, cereals and juice/coffee. Table set to perfection.

Parking directly outside expensive. Free from 7pm to 9am though. Street parking free and literally just around the corner from the property

We loved the old style it is beautifully maintained. Margarida, Marjorie, e Eric made sure that we had everything that we needed and found us a wonderful place for dinner. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Breakfast was a nice arrangement of cereal, croissants, baguettes and local biological confitures.

There are parking meters that need to be fed during particular times of the day, fortunately the machines was broken for our stay.

This is a little gem. Very characterful property with charming bedrooms and plenty of space. We had our dog stay and she was made very welcome. Very comfy bed and fabulous shower in our room. Very clean and well presented. Very conveniently located for the old town of Le Mans, a short stroll away, which is fabulous. A super breakfast with all you would expect.

Lack of tea/coffee making facilities.

Lovely welcome from our host. The family room was very comfortable, clean and cosy. Very good large shower with excellent pressure. The bed was firm but comfortable. Very quiet at night. Breakfast was fresh baguette and croissant with delicious local jams. The property is in the perfect location in the oldest part of the town and opposite the cathedral (which is beautiful inside). It also has a delightful secluded garden.

The location of this property was absolutely amazing - right by the Cathedral. It was really tastefully decorated and very comfortable. There is parking right outside, which was free for us because we were there on a Sunday. Le Mans is a beautiful city, and although it was a stopover for us en route further south, it would merit a visit in its own right. Plenty of choice when looking for somewhere to eat in the evening. We settled for galettes and cider! The city has a sound and light show on a number of buildings in the summer, but we had a great view of the cathedral one from our bedroom window. Breakfast was lovely, and Eric, the host, was so friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend this B&B to other travellers. We've done a lot of overnight stops in France and this was definitely one of the nicest places we've ever stayed.

Nothing really - it was lovely. I would have liked a balcony with a city view (which is available at this property) but I was too late as it was already booked. But that's my fault, not the property's!

Brilliant stay in this beautiful, historic house, which was renovated in a very thoughtful way. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. Friendly welcome and nice breakfast. We felt like VIP's staying here.

Nothing that we didn't like but the stairs could be difficult for people with mobility problems, due to the historic nature of the building.

This is real gem in a the fantastic old city part of Le Mans, the location was perfect, overlooking the huge cathedral or views across the city. The room was perfectly presented, very clean and well furnished and our host Marjorie was amazing. The breakfast was a superb continental one with fresh Baguettes and breads, with local jams! The old city was amazing and somewhat unexpected, well worth a visit in it's own right.

No issues with the property, just be aware the old city shops and restaurants are not all open on Mondays.

It was 11 years ago I last reviewed this fabulous B&B and if anything, it's better, large room, comfortable big bed and looking out to the Cathedral, what moor do you need ,oh yes breakfast , that was good as well 😀. I don't think it will be 13years before we return Thank you PS it's in the old town where you walk medieval streets built on Roman streets 👌

That I could not stop for longer

The breakfast was great, the owner was very friendly and helpful and recommended a great restaurant with delicious food a few minutes walk from the hotel. The room was stunning and even nicer than the photos full of traditional French character! We felt like the family room was like a suite having the kids room separate to our room was a really nice design. The hotel is right in the heart of the old town overlooking the cathedral. There’s lovely shops and restaurants all around that area.
