Lovely location a short drive to Ronda. Most of the rooms are very generously sized and most have lovely views. The restaurant offers a limited menu each night and is quite good.

The rooms seem to vary quite a bit. I paid extra for a room with a terrace and was very disappointed to find the room was on the ground floor with no views. Our friends, who booked a lesser level room had a great view and a much larger room so I think there is something wrong with how they price the different room categories. I did not think our room was worth what we paid. Plus breakfast was not included, which is unusual, especially at these prices. The public spaces are limited. There is a tiny bar area and a small lounge. The grounds are pretty much limited to the pool area. No nice gardens, etc. And, while most of the staff were very nice, the manager who checked us in, was not at all friendly.

Gorgeous hotel in an incredibly peaceful and beautiful rural setting. The room was one of the nicest we've ever stayed in and it was clean and comfortable. The staff was lovely and accommodating. The pool and outside spaces were well appointed and inviting. The drive into Ronda is exactly 15 minutes and we were very happy to be just outside of town because Ronda is quite busy and well visited by tourists. We loved the honor bar with refreshments on an honor system.

We would have loved to have wine as an option at the honor bar since Spain is such an incredible wine country. It was inconvenient to have to track down staff to order a glass of wine especially while they were busy with dinner hour. We also would have loved to have breakfast included in the price of the room which was expensive, for good reason. Since the hotel is so rural, I would suspect most guests eat breakfast at the hotel and it would have been nice to roll that into the cost of the room. A self serve coffee station for the morning would have been a wonderful option as well.

We had an unforgettable stay at this charming boutique hotel on the outskirts of Ronda. The picturesque drive through olive tree groves set the perfect tone for our visit. The property offers thoughtful amenities, including parking with electric car chargers. Our room was a true retreat, featuring a wood-burning fireplace fueled with slow-burning olive wood that gave off a distinct, romantic aroma—perfect when paired with a glass of wine. The large freestanding bathtub in the bathroom, complemented by relaxing rain shower and luxurious, wonderfully scented bath products, made it feel like a private spa. The bed was incredibly spacious—almost Texas King size—and very comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. We especially loved the patio overlooking the mountains and olive groves, as well as the beautiful garden with lemon trees. Daily housekeeping kept everything immaculate, allowing us to fully enjoy the serene atmosphere. It truly felt like a resort, and we only wish we had stayed longer to take in all the amenities without rushing off to explore the surrounding sights. Highly recommend this lovely boutique hotel for a relaxing and romantic getaway!

Beautiful tranquil setting for elegant hotel with great food and welcoming helpful staff Breakfast served on the terrace was memorable and delicious set menus dinner served as sun set with local wines expertly guided by the head waiter - thank you . We had to leave super early and were provided with much appreciated snacks for our journey . The rooms are individual- ours included a rooftop hot tub type bath on its terrace ! In addition a good sized swimming pool . The extensive honesty bar another nice touch . Thanks to all especially Patricia and Laura

Nothing - it is a very special rural hotel with attention to detail

We loved the quiet location and beautiful views from all areas of the hotel. We had a busy trip up to arriving here and this hotel gave us just what we needed - some respite from the hectic travelling so far. The rural setting is breathtaking and the proximity to Ronda is great. The staff were all lovely and we have to really compliment the chef - wonderful menu for dinner, so much so that we decided to leave Ronda on the second night and retreat back to our lovely hotel for a another opportunity to eat at the hotel. It really felt like a hidden secret gem that we had discovered. We left with our batteries recharged ready for the next stage of our travels. Cannot recommended more highly.

The Hotel La Fuente was just stunning. The rooms were large and beautifully decorated & the attention to detail in the rooms was amazing, the room was spacious & so was the bathroom. We were in Room 4 and we had our own outside patio. We had fresh orange juice on arrival. The pool area was very refreshing as it was a very hot day. I am glad we arrived early afternoon to just relax and take in the scenary. The lounge area with bar was also fantastic & bar was well stocked. The staff were very helpful and recommended places to visit on our way to Seville. Beautiful views for dinner and breakfast of the surrounding countryside. Check out the book they have in the dining room showing how La Fuente was built, so much work has gone into what it is today.

Nothing! It was perfect!

We spent 3 nights at the Hotel La Fuente de la Higuera. The hotel is located a 10 minute drive from Ronda in the lovely countryside. The views from the hotel are wonderful. The room was lovely with a great patio and the staff accommodating and welcoming. We stayed there 3 nights and had their 3 course dinners every night. As an example of the high quality and excellent dinner, one night we had Pea soup with crispy Iberian ham and ham emulsion, Beef tenderloin with green curry, potato gratin and arugula, and Pear crumble with a yogurt of cinnamon and vanilla ice cream. A+

the location was fab, hidden in the country with great views towards Ronda. Close to local restaurants or the town for evenings out. The breakfast was good, varied and fresh. I would have liked a little more variety each day but it was excellent. The big plus was the staff , every staff member ,and that means cleaner. gardener, kitchen ,dining room reception and management were all super friendly ,professional ,helpful and wonderful ,based on our experience we would visit again and again just on the staff alone.

Of course this all comes at a price , maybe the dinner courses could have been a little cheaper ,that's the only down side .

This is a hidden gem. More than a hotel, it is a charming country guest house with views, food and service to match. Our accomodation was charmingly furnished with a separate sitting room and terrace with beautiful southerly views, so peaceful and calm it was its own retreat. The dining room and main patio had a true country feel, and the food was first rate. The owner Pablo and manager Patricia couldn’t have been of more help, arranging a special dinner for us and full of suggestions.

A well run rural hotel, nicely decorated, well kept, with a unique and comfortable atmosphere equally given by the property and the wonderful staff that makes you feel welcome from minute one. Hospitality at its best. Bedroom, bathroom, pool, public areas were immaculate clean. Food was amazing exquisite dinner and a lovely breakfast served in their patio facing a stunning landscape of farms, hills, vineyards caressed by the ever so wonderful Spanish sun. We were upgraded to a bigger room, a nice surprise for us that are celebrating our special occasion.
