Absolutely love this place, I extended my stay! I came as a solo traveller and didn't want to be in a party hostel so chose Havana Hideaway and it was the highlight of my 2 week trip in Bali so far. The location is excellent, very close to the harbour - important when you have a lot of luggage and the island relies on walking/cycling (I chose not to use the horses). The staff are what make this place wonderful, they are so friendly and kind and we had lots of laughs! Hari is the happiest chap on the island, it was so nice to sit down and chat with Hari and Abdul when I came back and they always offered tea/coffee for me and asked if I needed anything. I stayed in 2 rooms (as I had a booking in another place in between which was awful so I came back to Havana!) - both rooms were spacious, cool with good A/C with plenty of storage and clean. The rooms have a lovely outside private area for each room, really enjoyed having a coffee and journalling in the morning outside. Havana Hideaway is decorated beautifully, and it’s the first place I felt really at home here. It's super easy to get anywhere from Havana Hideaway. You can rent a bike to go around the island and Havana is close to lots of cafes, restaurants and warungs - I went to Coffee & Thyme, The Banyan Tree and Kayu Coffee for breakfast and the Night Market is worth visiting if you want to experience a more local vibe (£1-2 food!). Don't hesitate and book this lovely place, you won't regret it!

We originally had booked 3 nights at Havana Hideaway and extended our time here within the first day because we loved it so much. The staff are truly amazing and really do make you feel like you’re in a home away from home. We booked surfing and our bikes through the hotel and both were perfect. The room itself is also brilliant with a comfy bed, great AC and a lovely outside area to sit outside at night. You are plenty close enough to the main front but tucked away enough to not hear anything at night. We are only looking for ways to come back!

Nothing at all

Rooms are very clean, even though bathroom is outside. Bed (though a bit old and squeaky) was comfortable. Staff (Harry) very friendly at all times and helpful. Location close to the east coast, not far from the ferry and plenty of restaurants and other places around. Nice garden and outside seating area.

I sort of expected this place to be fairly quiet (based on earlier reviews) but there is both a rooftop bar (literally next door) and a restaurant that play loud music till late (especially the rooftop bar). Luckily they stop around 11 pm, but because you wake up early, I would have preferred the place to be a bit better soundproof and quiet. There is no fridge in the room, and for the price point, this should be included. There are also no hangers or things to hang any clothes, outside from one rack for your towels. While the room was fine and clean, I found the price a bit to steep for fairly basic accommodation (though on an island, things are more expensive for sure).

The location of Havana was perfect, nestled back from the busy main streets but within easy walking distance to beach, restaurants, and shops. The accommodation only houses a small amount of guests meaning you have space to enjoy and a tailored service during your stay. It was very clean and comfortable, with all necessities provided. The staff are extremely friendly, always happy to chat, provide recommendations and attend to your needs. Highly recommend staying at Havana hideaway, a lovely small locally run business with a homely feel.

The patio area at the front of the rooms is a great space however it does get incredibly hot sitting there, perhaps fans would be a nice addition.

Cute spot on a side street in Gili T where you won’t be woken by the parties! (Maybe by the mosques but that’s normal). The room was clean and the bathroom was very nice. The outside seating area was a great spot to relax in the evening. All the staff were really friendly

There was no breakfast available despite the booklet in our room and no beers but I think they were in preparation for high season which is fine but also annoying as a low season guest! Maybe just make that clear on check in

I liked it all. From the location, to the cuteness of the room, to the cleanliness, to the staff. Harry and the 2 other people working with him were extremely nice, helpful, sweet, and helped me with everything (luggage, snorkeling reservation, restaurant recommendations, horse car, bike rental…). Unfortunately I haven’t been able to meet the person with whom I was in contact before my stay since he was not there but he was making sure that everything was fine by me. Thank you again Harry and Havana hideway for this amazing stay

The staff were very friendly and helpful with organising snorkelling tour, bike hire and providing recommendations with where to go around the island. The place itself is pretty little garden oasis with clean rooms and cute little alfresco area to lounge. Location is close walking distance to the main strip and ferry terminal but tucked away just far enough for chill and quiet. Really enjoyed my stay here and would not hesitate to stay again

Harry, Abdul and Dedi run a beautiful property and really make the accommodation feel like home, no matter how long you are staying. They were very hospitable and went out of their way to make sure that everything ran smoothly. If I had anything that needed attending to, it was done immediately. The location is also fantastic, but far enough from the main strip that you don’t have too much noise. Value for money was fantastic. I had the best time and I’ll stay again on my next visit to Gili!!

Clean, comfortable well decorated room fits the island vibes. Good AC and Wi-Fi is okay ( but your on an island so..) Welcoming staff.

The window in the bathroom.. if you forget to pop the blind down \ the curtains into your room people walking past are able to see in while you shower 😅

We LOVED our stay at Havana Hideaway. It was perfectly located, within walking distance from the harbour and tucked away from the main road. Our stay was made by the hospitality of Harry he is an absolute credit to Havana Hideaway and truly knows how to make the place feel like home. A huge thank you to Abdul, Harry and Daydee who invited us to join them in breaking their fast. It was a lovely experience. 100% will be back ☺️

There was nothing we didn’t like. There isn’t a pool but for for us this wasn’t an issue.
