Lovely hotel with helpful, friendly staff and we would definitely return. Easy walking distance of Pembroke Castle. Our "standard" double room was very spacious with very efficient heating and great powerful shower. Restaurant served excellent food - best creme brûlée we"ve ever had! Only minor complaints (and to be fair, we didn't bother to say to the staff, who may well have done something if we had) were 1. Smallish bath towels 2. As the weather was quite cold during our February stay we found the restaurant was not as warm as we would have liked (as opposed to the bar which had a fire). 3.The breakfast was very good but no fresh fruit offered (as mentioned on the menu) and no explanation given. Overall though this is an excellent hotel, better than many we've stayed in and lots of character.

Breakfast was plentiful, with a good wide choice. Room was spotless, and kept that way.
Dinners were very good, except that the vegetables failed, with mainly carrots and little else. We agreed with the people on the next table, that the meal left one wanting a little more, even though we do not have large appetites. Vegetables are cheap, and on a £20 meal, they could so easily be more generous and varied, and not cost more than 75p extra to provide.

My double room was quiet, light and spacious with good views out of the bay window. Stylish, traditional furniture, well decorated with a comfortable double bed. Clean and well kept bathroom. Downstairs has the feel of a traditional comfortable and cosey pub/hotel. Service was friendly and efficient. Well situated in the centre of Pembroke a short walk from the castle. Car parking available at rear.
Evening meals were good but hotel rather than pub prices.

A lovely independent guest house and traditional pub with good food (especially the cooked breakfast); friendly staff; spacious room; nice and quiet and very good value; ideal for those arriving from Pembroke Dock.
It was quite hot during our stay (no complaint about that) and the room might have had a fan. A fresh fruit option for breakfast would have been nice also, but that's a small thing.

The hotel was very convenient located in Central Pembroke so was great immediate access to the Castle. Loved the history of the hotel and its links to the Castle from Medieval times. The room was very pleasant with all the usual good facilities and the bed was very comfortable making for a good night's sleep. Booking a table in the restaurant was simple and straightforward and the food was delicious when it arrived and was reasonably priced. The breakfast was also lovely and served very well. The service at dinner and breakfast was very prompt from staff with little time waiting for food being ordered and it being served. The staff were also pleasant and friendly making you feel welcome at the hotel.

The location is great. The room was kept very clean. I really liked the staff, they were all very welcoming and made me feel comfortable. Norman is a great person, he helped me out with couple of things during my stay, I really appreciate it. Also Shout out to Ready Cabs, Adrian, very helpful if you are looking for taxis. I would love to recommend this hotel.

Quaint property, with lots of history. Comfortable rooms, very spacious. Location was great, a short walk to the Castle. Car parking at the rear was plentiful. Breakfast was lovely, well cooked and plenty of it. The dinner menu was varied and again very good. The staff were friendly, professional and very helpful.

The welcome we were given on arrival and throughout was exceptional. We chose this as part of our UK road trip and the location could not have been any better. The rooms were very spacious and the restaurant for evening meal was sublime.
A minor point is the rooms could be seen as being a little dated but for use this added to the charm.

The staff were friendly It was close to the castle & for a wander around town which was interesting. Great, historic building / location The breakfast was delicious The parking was great (but tricky to find, initially)
The bed was quite uncomfortable/ small. The headboard was peeling on to the bed The bathroom could do with an update.
