This is a neat, well run hotel. Its location is within a few minutes walk of the very heart of Viseu. Our room had a very comfortable bed, and sliding doors out onto a balcony. The breakfast was excellent, both plentiful and with a variety of things to choose from. The staff could not have been more helpful. Marcia was lovely, and both she and her colleague whose name we didn’t get gave us many helpful tips. On their recommendation we slightly changed our onwards route, and drove the Rota do Romanico (N222), down the Douro Valley to Porto. It turned out to be one of the most extraordinary highlights of our trip. Thank you!

Well located, it's a decent 3 star hotel, suitable for a short stay. I found the beds to my liking (hard mattresses), it was rather quiet and the "family rooms" (connecting door inside) are a convenient solution. A gluten-free cake for breakfast was a nice thing to see (not asked for).

I dislike single use sachets for shampoo and shower gel. Wifi would get sketchy at times.

staff very helpful.. breakfast was good... free parking for the motorbike in the garage below... comfortable bed and spotless.. good location, only a few minutes walk and you're in the centre..I was surprised with the town,I didn't know anything about it beforehand but it's really beautiful...

the only thing is the WiFi was rubbish... and I couldn't even get a phone signal at times in the room. everything else excellent

The location is great - very central and close to Kennedy Park. We left very early and couldn't enjoy the breakfast, but they prepared us a box with some snacks which was appreciated. Shower was hot.

The furniture is a bit old and the paitings over the bed are quite creppy. We could still hear some noise from the street and from other guests.

The excellent location.the beautiful town centre with its lit up buildings and fountains for an evening stroll is a must. The hotel was very good value, clean and our duty manager that night was very helpful. His restaurant recommendation was perfect. Find it located in town Square above the lit up azulajos panels. Hotel parking wasn't a problem.

We had a one night stop over and the hotel was close to the bus station a little bit of a climb for the older people with us but we all managed it with a little stop. The breakfast was very good on the morning we left. The hotel is a little dated but was excellent value for money.

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean hotel and everything worked well. Good breakfast. Easy walk to all of the Viseu central areas. Easy to find free street parking nearby.

Breakfast got a bit cold and needed a refresh if you didn’t come down early in the breakfast hours.

Everything was up to our expectations, and we were pleasantly surprised by the availability of plant milk, peanut butter and different kinds of jam for breakfast. As vegans, we were able to have a proper breakfast, which doesn't always happen.

Nothing major, but there was a sort of whistling noise that came and went, not very loud but a little annoying, our guess is that it's from the water pipes.

Breakfast was particularly good, so much choice. One of the best we have experienced. We also loved the bright ‘lounge’ area and the large patio. All tastefully decorated too. Bonus of on- site parking. Very good value for money.

The breakfast was excellent with a variety between cold or warm foods. The hotel is within walking distance to the centre.

The shower cubicle and in particular the shower head could do with a replacement.
