Stayed here for two nights prior to flying home. Quite a luxurious hotel, great spacious room with big en-suite bathroom. Deep comfortable mattresses aided fantastic sleep Food and beer good and fairly priced. Amazing staff, particular mention to the receptionist Hiruni Perera, very welcoming, cheery smile, great English language skills and very helpful

Unfortunately the hotel was just about empty, so lacked a bit of atmosphere The pool was out of service while remedial work was carried out to the restaurant roof WiFi very poor, only good around reception area. Not a problem for me, but I know it’s important to some

Lot's of mosquitoes but room itself is clean , but could not enjoy my room balcony view because of that Also there was kind of party and sound was sooo loud till 1 am was not able to sleep

The hotel is really modern and staff is super friendly and forthcoming. We got offered packed breakfast, since we had to leave early for the flight. There was a wedding taking place with loud music, but it stopped at around 22:30, and then we had a quiet night. Dinner was absolutely amazing (can really recommend the Amora dish platter!) and at low cost. We didn't take the airport shuttle however, since 20$ is a multiple of the Uber. For the rest we can absolutely recommend this hotel, especially as an airport hotel!

Checkin was smooth. Nice touch of having a little drink on arrival. Cases were taken to our room, although given the hotel wasn't busy, we were situated in the very far room. there was some noise from people moving furniture around above. The bed was nice and big, as was the room. The mattress could have been a little more comfortable. The pool was great. They brought towels an a sun shade. The restaurant was good. Checkout was smooth. Overall a nice stay. Rooms a bit dated though. and some things didn't work (buttons and sockets beside the bed).

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Amora Lagoon hotel and I must say that it was a great experience. The hotel is small and cozy, but it is well-maintained and the staff is extremely polite and attentive to your needs. One of the best things about the hotel is the affordable price. Despite being a budget-friendly option, the quality of service provided by the staff is top-notch. They were always ready to assist and made us feel very welcome. The only small issue we faced was that upon arrival at our room, it was quite hot and uncomfortable. It would have been nice if the staff had cooled the room before my arrival. However, this was just a minor inconvenience and didn't take away from the overall positive experience. One of the highlights of our stay was the food. The hotel has an excellent restaurant with a wide variety of delicious dishes. The meals were consistently good, and I was impressed with the quality of the ingredients. Furthermore, the hotel's proximity to the airport was a huge plus. It was just a short drive to the airport, which made my departure stress-free. Overall, I highly recommend the Amora Lagoon hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and affordable stay in Katunayake, Sri Lanka. The minor issue i faced was outweighed by the warm hospitality of the staff, the delicious food, and the convenience of the location

Helpful staff, easy check in , large clean room.

As it is near the airport, you could constantly hear aircraft's fly over. Ear plugs would easily fix this issue. It is worth noting that the aircraft flying over did not stop us from having a good night's sleep. The highway is rightght beside the hotel as well.

We just needed something to stay one night because our flight was early in the morning; and its really close to the airport; it exceeded our expectations and its really good value for the money; friendly stuff and clean facilities; so even if you want to stay longer here; you will not regret it

We arrived very early in the morning, so the hotel was great because it is close to the airport. The staff are very helpful and friendly. the room was very clean.
