Breakfast was amazing, and the staff were very friendly. Especially the lady at the pool (unfortunately we didn’t catch her name, but she has braces) — it was raining, and she personally guided us on how to get to Torarica for our wellness appointment. The ambiance was great. The bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly.

When we wanted to take the lift, there was a cleaning lady inside. We told her we needed to go down, and while it’s not an issue for us to wait, the concern was more about her attitude — simply saying “I’m going up” without any courtesy. As hotel guests, we would have appreciated a friendlier approach.

Some white towels had some old stains The safe didn't work, it was locked by a previous guest and not unlocked before my arrival Restaurant is overpriced for what it is offering USD 90 for an average quality steak. A Greek salad without any dressing seem to miss the point. Inconsistent room delivery: My room had no AC running My relative had the AC running at arrival via a dummy card . The room quality, design and lighting is below the price. Empty mini bar.

Staff is very friendly and helpful and really take care of you. The pools are great as well as the gardens and pier. Spending the day here is no punishment, so if you want to take a day off and not go outside, you are taken good care of. You can use facilities of the other Torarica as well. All in all, an enjoyable stay.

Some issues in the room. Glasses weren't changed, found a wet bathrobe in the shower, safe didn't work because of corroded batteries, noisy AC in one of our rooms. Nothing big but not what you'd expect from an establishment like this.

Very good hotel, quite up to western standards. The staff is very accommodating and happy to help. Had especially good service from Xiomara. This is particularly great for families with a very nice pool and always a pool guard to watch over your precious ones. The breakfast of Royal quiet divers and a must try. Tip: egg Benedict's with Salmon or Kandra Tiki

Spacious room, fully accessorized, excellent air conditioning and Wifi. Rich breakfast including fresh fruits and vegetables. The hotel has various sitting areas where you can sit down and relax. A hop skip from "restaurant road", and a short walking distance to all of Paramaribo's main attractions. It's probably the best hotel I stayed at across Guyana, Suriname, and French Guiana.

People at the pool and the restaurant and the cleaning staff where very friendly. The location is super, directly at the heart of Paramaribo. The place is clean. The breakfast is ok.

The people at the reception where not the most friendliest I have met. Parking is annoying, since there are to few parking spaces directly at the hotel.

The room was very spacious and clean. The view, the garden and the breakfast buffet were fantastic. I slept very well and could start my trip relaxed and well-well-rested. I loved it all, thank you for a lovely stay.

We loved our stay at Royal Torarica. My kids enjoyed the pool and i enjoyed the spa at the other a Torarica right next to this one. It is very centrally located and walking distance from many restaurants.

The difficulty to use a Mastercard to pay the bill for the in room dining, that obliged me to left my wife standing with the dinner while I went to et réception to pay. Mastercard should be accepted everywhere in the hotels

Loved the people. Restaurant and breakfast were decent. Nothing spectacular.

The room was freezingly cold and temperature could not be adjusted.
