Extremely nice location, view and all so quiete and relaxing Beach nearby was good and not crowded. A combination of sand and little pebles but no need for water shows. Good restraunts nearby. Our flight got delayed but we had no problem checking in at 23.30

The only thing I have to mention, but quite bothering was the fac that although on booking checkout is listed until 12.00 we were asked to leave the room at 10.00 and that we have learnt only in the checkout morning altghough I asked for this info on whatsapp a day before. The host did mention that we could still use the pool area, but still inconvenient. Don’t know if that’s a custom in the area, but placea I have travelled I never needed to leave a room this early.

We stayed in 14 different cities across our European holiday. This property had the very best view, from the large balcony & the pool area. The surrounds of Garbis villas is picturesque & very well maintained. We enjoyed swimming in the pool & relaxing on our balcony. Numerous cats and young kittens, added to the appeal. The rooms were well appointed. Kitchen available & we cooked one evening & had breakfast in our villa each morning. Air con of course a plus. The bathrooms are a bit dated but having two toilets in the two bedroom apartment was a bonus. We walked to Kanali beach which was beautiful. We walked to many Taverna’s & restaurants in the Vlachata area. The food from everywhere we ate was supberb & the service second to none. We highly recommend Spiros Taverna, Souvlaki Steak House & Grill and Dionysos Taverna. Cafe 77 was also awesome for lunch! There are two supermarkets in walking distance & they were both well stocked & always friendly service. We hired a car from Tasos at Easy Rent in Vlachata & he was awesome. Hiring a car is a must if you’re wanting to sight see. We travelled north to Mrytos beach, stunning. We also went to Fiskardo, northern beaches & Assos & we had a boat day from Zola to see Fteri beach. We booked through Fteri Water Taxi’s, can highly recommend. We headed south a short drive to Petrokopoulos Winery & had a beautiful wine testing, again highly recommend. Thanks to Angela who coordinated airport transfers for our family. Great service. We enjoyed staying at Garbis villas. The view is stunning, beaches fabulous, restaurants have awesome food & we found this area quieter than Agostoli. If you’re happy to drive to the sites north, this is a perfect location.

Bathrooms are dated. Toilets slightly tricky to flush. This was a minor issue as the rest of the property was fabulous! The bar was not open. I note another reviewer noted the same. Plenty of other options available in walking distance but be aware bar is not available on site. No washing machine facilities. This was advertised so not surprising but I didn’t realise the closest laundromat was back in Agostoli. Again not an issue as we had a car & time but good to know.

The pool and views were stunning. The owner of the apartments was very kind in accommodating our early arrival as we were not expecting the apartment to be ready. Nice touches like complimentary water and juice on arrival and departure a plate of fruits and chocolate etc. The maid was very helpful, and kept room clean, although her English was limited, but better than our Greek!

A bit of information regarding the check out procedure and some general info on the area would be useful in the apartments. The equipment in the apartment was very limited in some ways, ie no saucepan, very small amount of cooking utensils. Air con a little noisy at night when trying sleep.

Stunning location for views, peaceful and quiet. Restaurants, around 10 maybe and supermarket directly within 6 mins walk (uphill), Tasteful looking apartment with traditional feel inside. Loved the balcony and cathedral views. Lovely pool.

Lack of transport in resort..1 bus at 8.30am to Argostoli and that's it. Transport is needed, unless you are planning on staying put, as landscape steep to walk. Beach is a very steep downward walk which took about 20 mins and had to get cab back up. The shower in c31 has to be hand held as fitting on wall not adjustable, and despite shower curtain, the bathroom gets soaked. Would have liked a walk in double shower cubicle instead of bath but just my preference.

The apartment had everything you needed for a really comfortable self catering stay, with a hob and a good size fridge. Irene was wonderful and could not be more friendly and helpful. The individual terrace areas have a feeling of privacy while continuing to have amazing views and the pool area was lovely too.

Nothing really although a chopping board would be helpful :)

Location, staff, space great showeer huge room well equipped great terrace we stayed in garden view room one of older rooms. Pool incredible & view amazing

Beds uncomfortable.. Ok but pillows hard, need new ones.. Maybe a double not twin.. Squeeky too. Def need upgrading room was definitely due a makeover. But iit was a great apartment for a great base. Def stay again we stayed 17 nights.

Gabris Villa in Lourdata was absolutely amazing! The views were breathtaking, the pool was fantastic, and the location was a dream come true.

The owner is a true queen of the place, and her artistic touch deeply impressed us all. The villa offered all the amenities we needed, and the view was breathtaking. We'll never forget our time on the wonderful island of Kefalonia!

The view from the terrace and the hotel pool was stunning. The owner Irene Garbis was extremely helpful and welcoming and the hotel grounds and all the rooms were kept immaculate and cleaned every day.

It would have been nice if the pool bar had been opened to get a drink but with so few guests staying there it wasn’t really viable and it wasn’t a problem for us.

The position of the property with wonderful views over the sea to Zakinthos. The pool area was beautiful and a lovely place to relax. Irene Garbis was a fantastic and welcoming host. The place was kept immaculate and extremely clean.

It was a bit far to walk to most of the restaurants but Spiros restaurant nearby was excellent and Irene gave us the phone number to call for a takeaway pizza which we used a couple of evenings and it was really good.

Fabulous view. Pool and terrace lovely. Beds comfortable. Linen and towels good quality and changed regularly. Kitchen facilities adequate. On site manager, Irene, is very helpful and friendly as are her staff.

Main bathroom could do with updating from bath with shower curtain to walk in shower. Washing machine would have been a bonus even if it was a communal one which you had to pay to use. You do need a car to get to Lourdata beach and surrounding areas. Walk to beach is approx 2km and incredibly steep.
