I had a wonderful experience at Churchill Court, which is of a high standard. They accommodated my earlier check-in. The manager, Nikki, was excellent. She prepared a full vegan breakfast for my request. The location was superb. I travelled by train, and it was a 5-minute walk from the station. Then, I chose to walk to Blenheim Palace, which took about 45 minutes to stroll to. The Community path, through the forest situated by a river and swamp, was outstandingly beautiful, leading me to Blenheim Park and eventually to the palace. It is a fantastic day out with wonders, such as the Palace, the Churchill exhibition, the formal garden, the cascade, the Butterfly House and restaurants to refresh. I recommend Churchill Gate as a relaxing base for a Blenheim Palace visit.

The size of the apartment was more than generous. Nicely styled place without frills. As we are traveling by car, parking is always a desirable thing. Churchill Court has plenty of it. The location was ideal for us: only a few minutes‘ drive to Blenheim Palace, a 3-minute walk to Hanborough station to get into the heart of Oxford by train in 7 minutes. Good breakfast options. Very helpful staff. When the charging cable for my phone didn’t want to work, the lady from the office let me have hers for the duration of our stay.

The light in the bathroom is less than ideal. Too dim to see much in the mirror and no smaller mirror attached to do the close-up jobs. The bedroom window could not be opened to get some air through, it was hot when we were there.

Churchill Court was set in lovely countryside, yet extremely close to the train station and a bus stop. The decor of the room was just right. It was also quiet and peaceful. I visited London after Hanborough, and I felt like I had had 2 holidays- a country one, and a city one!

I couldn't get the shower in room 8 to work at all. I think it is always good to provide each room with a list of further facilities ( including how to work the shower ). For example, is an iron and ironing board available at reception? A bus timetable would be useful, and info on how long it takes to get to places of interest in the surrounding area. It helps guests to settle in and orientate themselves more quickly.

Lovely spacious room, clean and well equipped with fridge etc. Excellent parking facilities too and lovely breakfast in the morning with the cafe on site too which was very useful. Excellent footpath through Blenheim grounds all the way to Blenheim Palace also which was a real bonus

Due to the Blenheim Nocturn nights it was a shame we were paying triple the usual rate for the place, understand that's how things go but was quite expensive

This is the second time we have chosen the Churchill Court as its proximity to Blenheim Palace and other Oxfordshire attractions makes it an ideal base. The nearby station and pub/restaurant and shortcut walking entrance to the Blenheim estate are an additional bonus. The staff are very friendly and having a breakfast room doubling as a cafe during the day is handy. Free parking on-site is a great help.

Nothing, that's why we returned for our second visit there this year.

Very convenient for Blenheim Palace and the concert we were attending. Staff very friendly and helpful. Close to the train station for trips to Oxford. Across the road we had access to Blenheim Park for walks. A local pub, 10 minutes walk for dinner in the evening. Certainly going back next year. Could do with a magnifying mirror for the bathroom, for people like me with aging sight.

It was a shame they didn't do evening meals. If not using the local pub, it meant driving into Woodstock town or finding some where else.

Room very clean, good size, bathroom very clean the bed very comfortable, A busy road outside during the day, but was very quiet at night .. Breakfast had a good a selection.. Seating area outside is small with table and chairs but nice to be able to have breakfast outside.. local pub for food 15-20..minutes walk.. Blenheim Palace very convenient 10.00 minutes drive away…

Nice hotel near Blenheim Castle in countryside. Old style hotel with nice decor. I loved to have breakfast outside . 2 pubs near. We visited one of them ( George & Dragon) for dinner and had best steak ever.

Our bed was so noisy that my husbend had to sleep on couch. It was so hot night and room cooler was not working. So we slept with open windows. But it was quiet outside, so no problem.

I enjoyed my stay here, close the the train station, walking distance to Blenheim (community path starts across the road, nice 45 mins). The room was good sized for one person and the bed very comfortable. There was a desk so I was able to work and a kettle & fridge which was great. The bathroom was small but all I needed. There's a cafe for breakfast/lunch, I planned to go there but ran out of time. For the price and location it's hard to beat.

Full English and cereals, latte, juice and pastry was very nice. I particularly enjoyed the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff. Not just about my stay, but sorting out public transportation issues and off premises dining. The location, right across the road from the wonderful Community Path, is so convenient. I walked to Blenheim Palace my first morning via the path. Beautiful. And this lodging is so quiet. Lovely.

Breakfast is not available before 8:00, and there is no access to food or drink from the cafe in the later afternoon or evening. There is tea and coffee provided in the room, and you can bring something in and put it in the refrigerator in your room.
