This hotel is right in the middle of Porto, very close to the river and old town. You can reach all the sites on foot. The breakfast buffet is extensive, lots of fresh fruit and also good selection of hot food. Our beds were very comfortable, the room was clean, and the staff at the front desk was very friendly and helpful.

We stayed in a room in which the exhaust fan wasn't working, so the mirror fogged up very quickly while taking showers. We notified the receptionist, but since it was the weekend, the matter couldn't be fixed immediately.

The hotel is very nice, with a stylish interior. The rooms are very pleasant and quiet. The beds are super comfy and the aircon worked great. We liked the bathroom - two sinks and a spacious shower with plenty of hot water and a big showerhead. We didn't book breakfast so can't comment on that. The hotel is in the centre, right next to the castle and all the main streets so very convenient for exploring the town. It's also convenient for doing the Ecopista do Corgo, which is what we came for. We paid for the secure garage carparking spot (5 euros per night) which was very handy for us.

The spa wasn't open during our stay and we would have really liked to use it. Also, the room wasn't very big.

Excellent central location for the city centre. Good garage parking with EV charge points ( but need a charging lead that will work with a domestic socket). Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room had a balcony with hot tub.

The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant, which we knew, but we were slightly disappointed that snacks were not generally available in the lounge bar.

This hotel is exceptional. The location is ideal, situated in the heart of old town so you can access anything by foot. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable, and the price was very reasonable and included breakfast and free parking. Wonderful stay. Cannot wait to visit again!

Close to the town centre. We had a small suite on the ground floor. The hotel advised us in advance that there is no view as it was at road level and the windows are all frosted so it is still very private and quiet. It was very clean and lots of room though with a separation seating area rather than large room. Great shower. There is motorcycle parking in a separate garage. Unfortunately at the moment (Sep ‘23) the access road is uneven due to facility works. We managed ok so don’t let it put you off; and when this is repaired it’s a great garage with capacity for at least 10 bikes. Great breakfast.

Hotel was excellent value for money. Inside was well decorated and lovely. Staff were excellent and spoke good English luckily for me. Dedicated motorcycle parking seperate to the car parking, just be aware the hill is cobbled and steep but perfectly doable. Location was also fantastic. 6/6/24

Only negative I could mention is on behalf of my girlfriend who complained about the smoke alarm having a red flashing light above the bed that kept her awake. Didn't bother me.

Good breakfast choices. The room was lovely & the bed very comfortable, the location was great & the manager on duty for check-in was excellent. Would definitely recommend & will return when I'm back in the area.

The smaller carpark that were given for our motorcycles was not really suitable for heavy touring bikes - the ramp was nearly 45 degrees. There is another carpark actually under the hotel that would have been far easier to enter/exit.

The hotel is centrally situated: just perfect. We parked the car in the garage - €10 extra for two nights but totally worth it for convenience and peace of mind - and walked everywhere. The room was clean with a pleasant outlook and the bed was comfortable. Five stars for providing an extra pillow. There was a good range of hot and cold food for breakfast. The staff were super friendly and helpful.

It seemed slightly odd that a 4 star hotel didn’t have a restaurant or snack bar, only a breakfast room. On our first evening there was a tremendous thunderstorm with torrential rain. If we could have had a slice of pizza or a toasted sandwich, we would have preferred that to having to venture out into the pouring rain. The coffee machine in the breakfast room provided very poor coffee with milk - and it tasted as if sweetened. I’d rather have an old-fashioned coffee pot brought to the table by a waiter/waitress!

The hotel is very centrally located, perfect for a visit to Chaves and surrounds. Our room was spacious and comfortable with great views to the castle. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The wifi worked well. Worth noting that the underground car park is very tight.

Friendly staff, quality premises with a modern look and very nice decor. Rooms were comfortable, clean and tidy. Good breakfast. Central location, just next to the Tower.

The hotel car parking is very small and it is an extra charge, which wasn't obvious to me when i did the booking. Spa area relatively small, with only 4 loungers. WiFi was slower than expected for the type of hotel.
