Rooms were exceptional. Very modern with great facilities. Pool was lovely, few marks on the cushions but the hotel supplied towels and the beach access was very convenient.

Wish we had been aware that the hotel is ground floor of an apartment building - this is not clear in the advertisement. The hotel property was much smaller than anticipated. The surrounding area is mainly hotels and a few small supermarket hotel. Not much to do apart from visit the beach and sit by the pool.

The most luxurious hotel I stayed at during my trip to Albania.... Does it have soul? That's debatable... The rooms are spotless, and the cleaning lady is simply wonderful. But she is the only one!

Is it worth it? I'm not so sure. First of all, this place isn’t really a hotel. it's more like a residential complex. Hotels usually have a reception desk. This place doesn’t. And what about payment? It is not appropriate to make a payment by credit card around the restaurant, yes? But I did since because there's no actual reception. Parking? I had to park in the garden of the neighboring apartment building. It had an automatic gate, operated by remote control. I had no choice but to lie in wait till another car left the area. All in all, it’s a strange place. If you like in-room luxury, the electronically controlled air conditioner will satisfy that craving. But if you're after a place with a bit of soul, not only the hotel but also Durres might not be the destination for you.

This is a pleasant family run hotel right on top of the beach less than an hour away from Tirana airport. If you are looking for complete relaxation with a personable touch this is the place! You might be considering other hotels nearby but seriously, BOOK THIS ONE. I stayed in a perfect room with sea views and a jacuzzi, the stress just melted away. Breakfast was made fresh every morning and I already miss sitting there watching the waves with a good coffee. I had dinner at the hotel 2 nights in a row because the food was so nice. I don't have anything bad to say about the hotel and Endri was the perfect host along with the rest of the team! Golem itself is quiet and away from the madness of busy life so if you want to explore beyond the hotel and the beach it is best to have a car. I want to go back already and I have told my friends and family to book.

Totally enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Nice staff. Andrea at the restaurant ( i don’t know if this is the right spelling) was super nice to us, recommending food and giving us the best breakfast ever! Breakfast was my favorite time of the day, the toast and doughnut were top tier. He also called taxi for us when we were leaving the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone. The room was sparkling clean, bed was super comfortable. The only downside was since it was off peak period, there wasn’t much to do around the hotel. Overall… it was a perfect experience.

The best boutique hotel we have ever stayed in. The host/owner Endri cannot do enough for you, he's attentive, helpful, knowledgable and more so just a warm genuine man. Even without this "service" from him this place is 5 star without question. Its location is right onto the beach with a private section. The restaurant and its seating area is next to the beach too. The food and drink are of a high quality too. The rooms come with breakfast which is made to order every morning. From freshly made donuts to omelette there will be something to suit. The pool area is clean and tidy and situated facing the sea foo. All of which is perfect. But to top it all off is the rooms... we had a super king size bed, a walk in shower room and a 2 person jacuzzi in the room! And a view of the sea and pool. It's the smartest room we've ever had. We are here for a week but wish it was longer and will be back that is for sure. I wish I could give it 6 starts. This place is amazing, I can't find a flaw and Endri should be proud of what he's providing the tourism industry in Albania.

From the point of arrival and checking in, the staff made it seamless. Endri who runs the place kept in touch with us till we arrived which was very late at about 10pm. The rooms were not only clean but more beautiful than they were in pictures. Waking up every morning with a pool and sea view was like a dream, peace and tranquility is just the right word. While we were there, we were already on video call with friends showing them the awesomeness of the hotel. I must not forget to add that the Chef at their restaurant had gifted hands, his meals were delicious. I don’t usually rate hotels but this was an exception and I just had to. This hotel was one of our major highlights in Albania. The beds were comfortable, room spacious, state of the art design and facilities. We were already booking ahead for our next visit before end of winter. Thank you so much for having us

Absolutely nothing.

The owner was really nice and helpful with everything, he parked the car and helped with my bags inside, the staff was nice as well. I really enjoyed my stay here, luxurious room with pool view, comfortable bed and a jacuzzi inside, the shower was good. The hotel is family friendly, so if you are looking to stay in a calmer place this is not it, but if you don't mind the kids playing by the pool at day time I recommend you stay here. The food was amazing and they make really good cocktails ☺️

As I was trying to figure out where the hotel was, I asked a man by the gate if it was the correct hotel, and he was eagerly asking for 5 euros for parking. Do not pay as that is not even the parking of the hotel (the owner moved the car for me in a different parking lot).

We took a chance and decided to book comfort suites for our family holiday, and it was the best thing we did! Everything about comfort suites is up to such a high standard, from the delicious food (sea food to be precise was unreal), to the customer service.
