Everything! Stephane and his wife’s hospitality was warm, very helpful and could not be faulted. Stephane greeted us at check in and was super helpful with recommendations and advice about Albi. He helped to make reservations at a wonderful restaurant (very helpful on Bastille Day when it was very crowded!). We were shown to our room by a junior staff member who was very thorough in explaining everything from the guest areas in the hotel, to how to use the separate door with (PIN code entry for 24hr access). We had the Audrey Hepburn room on the first floor and while there is no lift, the stairs aren’t super narrow and easy to manage. The room itself was not huge, but definitely roomy enough and quiet. The air conditioning worked well and the bathroom was very modern and well appointed. Everything was spotless. The continental breakfast was delicious and good value at £12 extra. Parking was free at a public car park about stones throw away from the hotel.

Nothing, we were very happy with the stay and wish we could have stayed in Albi (and Les Pastelliers) for more than one night.

Very conveniently located. Only a few minutes walk to the Cathedral and Toulouse Lautrec museum as well as many restaurants. Very helpful manager. Nice small hotel. Excellent French breakfast with good produce ( and squeeze your own 🍊 juice). Reasonably priced. Although it's fairly central it's also a quiet area at night, at least when we stayed. Free public parking nearby. Easy access if you're driving. Would stay again if we get back to Albi.

Nothing to dislike. The public parking is popular so you may have to wait to get a spot. The rooms are very nice but maybe a little small. But you are close to everything in the centre and Albi is an older city of character.

.The host at reception went beyond helpful. He changed our room after the first night when he realized we had a small issue with the one we had booked. After a long walking excursion around the rown, and we were tired, we were on the patio he brought water for us. .Something he did not have to do. The location is great. Can walk to the town center to see the church, museum, bridges and covered market. There are gardens to sit in and enjoy the goings on. Plenty of restaurants.

Reception excellent. The proprietor was very helpful with restaurant suggestions etc. The breakfast was very good, fresh squeezed orange juice local ham etc etc. Good coffee. Our room was quite small but with a good sized bed, very pleasant private terrace, lots of power outlets and very modern bathroom. It was perfect for our short stay.

Nothing regarding the hotel. Although in high season the public parking is likely to be fill up early and you need to be aware of market days which close all or part of this parking.

The main receptionist/manager was amazingly helpful and obligingly took me to the private parking location. He gave a personal briefing on the hotel, facilities, room equipment and the area, especially the best dining options in Albi. He was allowed us to stay in the car park beyond our booking out period so we could enjoy a visit to Albi cathedral the following morning - a site not to be missed.

The hotel is clearly a converted house without modern soundproofing and unfortunately we had a couple with a lady who had a particularly loud and high pitched voice, which carried through the adjoining wall until they went to sleep. Not a game changer, we would definitely go back, but this time with ear plugs.

This is a cozy family run hotel that is central in the city but on a relatively quiet street. The owner and his wife are amazing hosts and make it a real pleasure to stay here. They will go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and have a nice stay in their town. The breakfast was indeed amazing as many of the other reviews state. It is only a few minutes walk from here to the old town and there are several restaurants and shops nearby. The owner can show you how to park for free very close to the hotel. I believe all of the rooms are a little different, but ours was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. I would guess that's true for all of them. I highly recommend this hotel!

Be aware that like many hotels in Europe, you may have to carry your bags up a flight or two of stairs depending on where your rooms is located.

We did not pay attention to room size at time of booking. As soon as Stephen saw my 190 cm tall husband, he was concerned given that we were booked for the attic with ceiling height much lower than he is tall! Stephen contacted another guest who was willing to change rooms. Stephen, and the guest, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. I can’t imagine many other lodgings being flexible.

We appreciated the reception upon arrival and the recommendations and map provided. These helped us navigate our way around Albi the following days, and we saw most of the key historical sites.o We also appreciated the efforts made to accommodate my gluten-free request for breakfast. The staff were all lovely and helpful.

We like to drink our cups of coffee and tea from China cups, not paper disposable ones.

This hotel is great value, perfectly positioned just on the edge of the old town which means it an easy walk to all the sights of Albi. They serve a fabulous breakfast and the rooms are extremely clean and comfortable. The owner and her husband are lovely people, and both went above and beyond assisting us when our train was cancelled at the last minute. We would definitely stay again.

Delightfully quirky little hotel tucked away in a quiet corner just a short walk from the centre of Albi and all its fabulous attractions. From the first friendly, informative welcome to the last cheerful goodbye, the staff were fantastic. Our room was very comfortable and the lovely breakfast set us up perfectly for our day exploring Albi. We loved our stay and do not hesitate to recommend Les Pasteliers to Albi visitors.

There wasn't anything we didn't like. From the artworks and beautiful furniture to the friendly, helpful staff, it was great.
