An alternative to standard, hygenic, bland accommodations, this B&B had terrific character: wonderful old staircase leading to spacious rooms, conveniently located, but quiet. Breakfast was excellent, fresh bread and croissants, etc.

The bed and bedding were a bit on the worn side.

Beautiful house and owner you feel like is a friend you are visiting. Just on the other side of the bridge, which is great because you have a great view as you walk across. Glad I found it and would stay again. Anna was also very generous with the breakfast. Best budget place to stay for sure!

Nothing bad to say

Lovely house, charming room, good location and welcoming host. Free parking right outside was a bonus and the 10 minute walk across the river to the old city was a great benefit. Oh, and we had a lovely copious breakfast! Thank you, Chez Louise.

On a main street so quite noisy (we did keep a window open so perhaps to be expected). Next time we'd ask for a garden room if available. The bathroom was OK, clean but would have been helpful to have a bath plug, some hand soap and a couple of glasses for water.

Absolutely great. Great breakfast, excellent service, very pleasant. I recommend it to everyone. piano in room, fantastic :-)

Very handy for the town, just a quick walk over the bridge. House has a lot of character. Host made a special effort with the breakfast, which was nice.

Bathroom toilet and shower needs to be updated. Some thoughts need to be given to comfort within the bedroom, there is essentially nowhere to sit or any space on the bedside table. It said the accommodation had a tv, but there was no tv. Host had a rather forthright manner, but was friendly and helpful enough. The pool , in my opinion, was unusable as it needed a new pool liner. With a little bit more thought (e.g. decent toiletries and towels) and investment it would really improve the experience.

Very large rooms in 1800's building. Very unique experience. Hostess was informative and friendly. Good breakfast. Close to old town Albi. Free parking just outside building.
