Our stay at La Bastide was nothing short of magical. Nestled in the cosy and idyllic French countryside, the setting is something out of a dream or a movie. Each morning we had a wonderful breakfast with fresh pastries and bread, homemade jams, all enjoyed with the most perfect view while sitting outside under the tree. It's the ideal combination of a quiet, tranquil location while being only 10 minutes away from the centre of historic Albi. This and the host, Fabrice, and his wonderful parents made our stay here truly unforgettable. They were kind, welcoming, and always ready to share their fab knowledge of the surrounding areas and beyond, and happy to give excellent advice on what to see and where to eat. This place is a true gem. It was undoubtedly a highlight of our two-week road trip around the southwest of France, and we will never forget it. We cannot wait to visit again!

A beautiful place about 10 mins outside of Albi in a rural location. Fabrice (and his mum) were fantastic hosts. Fabrice gave us lots of recommendations of where to go and what to do. The breakfast was very nice and lots of it. We would definitely recommend and if we return to Albi or travelling through we will definitely stay here

The Hotel was very nice and clean. And it is located in the right distance to the city, so that it is very calm and tranquil. Fabrice the manager was really courteous and provided us with all the info we need to know about Albi. Breackfast was absolutely fantastic. We enjoyed our stay there soooo much.

This is a wonderful B & B. The location is rural, but very easy to find. We were met by the owner, Fabrice, who showed us to our room, which was huge. Everything was spotlessly clean and it was very tastefully decorated with luxurious bed linen and towels which were of a high quality. The bathroom was equally spacious with wonderful shower. Fabrice was an excellent host and obviously takes great pride in welcoming his guests. The breakfast was amazing! Served outside under the shade of the trees, there was cereal, yoghurt, fresh fruit, croissants, a selection of home made jams and delicious cakes the Fabrice proudly makes himself. He provided us with maps of the local area and advised us of which restaurants were worth visiting. The gardens are beautifully tended and the pool always clean Fabrice has had an interesting life which was happy to tell us all about when we sat and had a drink with hin. He also five pampered cats who he obviously adores His parents also live there and we met his mother who is delightful

I really can't think of anything negative at all. The only bonus would be a small fridge in our room although Fabrice was very happy for us to keep a bottle of wine in his

Our host was welcoming & delightful. The beautiful homemade breakfast produce was a real treat & we loved eating in the garden.

This was a rare find. Perfect location, accommodation, bed, bath, host, breakfast! We will definitely stay again!
