There was a manager’s reception on the Wednesday night I was there, Got a couple of free drinks and appetizers, and the bartender was very friendly. For breakfast, the scrambled eggs were cooked super good just the way I like it. Also, my room was just steps away from the dining area and the front desk.

I think it would have been nicer to have a wider variety of appetizers during the reception. There were only two of them plus buns which I don’t eat. The salad and chicken patties were good though. Also, the parking is a little confusing to first-time guests.

Location was great! Easy commute back and forth to/from Va Tech (straight shot); Good area for shopping and eateries; Staff was friendly, attentive, and helpful; "Rupert" (-I think is the name) at front desk was genuinely nice and friendly. Rooms were clean and comfortable

bathroom was a little outdated, but everything worked; Shower door arm was broken.

The room was nice and clean, the view from our room was wonderful. So far are stay at this location has been amazing. It's location is right near the walking trail, which my mom and I love because we love to get out on beautiful days and walk and enjoy nature. Staff is amazing!!!

Only thing I didn't like is how one stay was letting their kids run up and down the hallway. but Holiday Inn put a stop to it quickly!

Very comfortable beds, room was clean, super friendly staff. The restaurant food was delicious and huge portions. Breakfast was delicious!! There was an issue with the drain in the bathroom sink and were prompt to fix it and then gave us a 10.00 voucher for the hotel restaurant.

Stain in the bathtub, but rest of bathroom was very clean.

Room size very comfortable!

The breakfast set up. Would prefer to be totally self serve. Waitress serving drinks appeared scattered brain. Half way finished with meal before offered juice

Sunday breakfast was one of the better hotel breakfast offerings, but the biscuits weren't fully baked.

Only two coffee cups in the room. Should be four so that there are two available to use in the bathroom.

It really made me upset there wasn’t a free, I mean really free breakfast! This is the first hotel we have stayed this trip with no breakfast. The free part was pitiful! 8.95 a piece for two people, McDonald’s can do better than that. For the amount we spent on this hotel the least they could do is provide breakfast!!

Breakfast was nice, beds were comfortable. It was clean and was in a great location

If you say you have 5 guest they should make sure you have enough towels for them so the customer doesn't' have to walk down to get them. More staff at night

We were upgraded to a King suite for free (for no particular reason). That was very nice of the staff to do so.

There wasn't a second set of curtains. So, the morning light peaked through too bright and woke us.

Breakfast was good. Friendly service

Television picture was of poor quality; fuzzy and contrast was off; no usb connections for devices was disappointing
