Silvie and her staff!! … could repeat this couple more times, whatever you want to know about Lombok,locals,religion,the earthquake,government,food access,water access,snorkeling spots,day trips etc etc etc,ask them, they are just there to be your host from the bottom of their heart! There is nothing Silvie and her team cannot organize,arrange or deal with for you, the house and recommended island rules are all about politeness,mindfulness,respect and sustainability and this is just lovely. Try the amazing food they cook by themselves and one or two or ten of silvies powerful and tasty homemade and home developed cocktails.

Absolutely loved our stay here, we could not of been happier. Extended our stay within hours of being there. The room, pool and grounds are immaculately clean and very well maintained. Amazing room, very comfy bed - lovely homely touches. Towels provided, including beach towels too. Fresh water provided in a dispenser that can be refilled on request. We loved the comfort of our terrace, great to spend time chilling out. Daily breakfast in the on-site restaurant was wonderful, best omelettes we’ve had on our many weeks of travelling Indonesia. We also loved our evening meal there too. Perfect location, close to beach, bars/restaurants and easy walk from harbour. The owner Sylvie and her amazing team make you feel so very welcome from the start, always on hand if you need them, attentive, friendly and professional. Cannot recommend more highly.

The staff is always smiling and helpful, they are very precise on the choice of the food, breakfast was amazing with organic passion fruit jam and homemade bread, but who have also eggs. They sell organic sun cream and body cream as well, they support local economy and they are careful on the environment. The room was great, with AC and painting are fantastic.

I like everything, but i have to piont out that you can hear the morning prayer at 5 am.

Excellent location, super friendly staff, and a very helpful owner who gave great local advice. Just a short 5–10 minute walk to the best snorkelling spots on the island. Breakfast was also excellent – fresh, tasty, and a great way to start the day.

There’s nothing we disliked at all, but it’s worth mentioning that the call to prayer from the nearby mosque can be heard across the island. It’s part of the local culture and atmosphere, and didn’t bother us – light sleepers might want earplugs just in case.

Everything! The staff are amazing, we had Bali belly when we arrived, and they were so considerate and helpful. They got us back on our feet quicker than expected. The food at the restaurant is really nice, although it is a bit more expensive than on other parts of the island. The room had everything we needed and the pool was nice. Everything is also very well kept, they are on top of keeping everything nice, clean and pretty. Their English is also very good, so it is easy to communicate and to get tips on where to spot turtles etc (less than a 5 minute walk!). Definitely recommend this place, and if we ever go back to Gili Meno, we are coming back here!

The shower is a bit salty, which does not dry out your skin but tastes weird. However, there is no fresh water on the island so that will be the same for every place. The mosque next door is quite loud when doing the calls of prayer, so that's something to be mindful of when potentially booking. For us, the benefits far exceeded these minor inconveniences.

Sylvie and all the lovely staff in kampung meno. They made us feel very welcome, always greeting us with a smile and conversation. The food was excellent. Our first night we were treated to a personalised dinner just for us. A delicious sea food platter! We loved our authentic Indonesian style room, it had air con and a fan with a nice view of garden and pool. The bed was very comfortable mozzie net provided. Also the room was spotlessly clean and they provide laundry services on site which was great ly appreciated. It was also nice to see the staff happy and laughing which is a true testament to the atmosphere slyvie encourages at the resort.

Nicely presented clean rooms and awesome lovely staff to help during the day, very attentive and friendly, over all was good.

The bungalows were not sound proof at all and you could clearly hear the neighbours talking, brushing their teeth and going to the toilet etc. Also the call to prayer in the morning was so loud due to the location being next to a mosque and the loud speakers are ridiculously loud, and no sound proofing in the rooms it woke us up before 5am every day

The staff were so friendly and helpful. They kindly gave as an extra fan for our room which made it a lot more comfortable. The wifi was very good and the pool was a nice bonus. We also rented bikes from them for a good price. The free breakfast was the best we have had in Lombok! It was amazing.

Even with the fan out room was still hot so I would recommend spending extra to book a room with air-conditioning. The water system uses ground water which is salty, but they are already in the process of replacing it with fresh water.

This place truly felt like home. Our host was unbeliviable welcoming and kind from beginning to the end and helped us with everything we needed, from renting snorkeling equipment to booking a boat to our next destination, even going so far as sharing their recepies with us of their delicious dishes. People on the island are very helpful and welcoming as well - the island makes you feel like you have friends wherever you go! Absolutely would and hopefully will visit Kampung Meno again.

- The best part about this place is the people that work here! Dewi is just about the sweetest person who really makes sure you have your best time on Gili Meno! She gives great recommendations about what to do, where and when to go snorkeling, which restaurants to go to… she’s just amazing! - the breakfast is great! Choice of pancakes, Omelette with toast, Nasi Goreng, Mie Goreng and a plate of of fruit with it - everything absolutely delicious! - one time we left it was pouring rain and they lent us umbrellas - thank you :D - cute little bungalows with mosquito nets above the bed (which are definitely needed) - pool area nice (not too many places to sit but still nice) - delicious welcome drink (the best ice tea we‘ve had in Indonesia so far) - bikes and snorkel gear for rent - they offer cooking classes or a typical Indonesian buffet if you ask about it

- water pressure in the shower is not great but it’s a tiny island so that’s just the way it is - mosque right across the street, so it might get loud in the morning
