Breakfast provided GF options. Dinner was superb as it was last time. Room was very clean. Bar and kitchen staff were very good and service was quick.
The doorknob felt like it was about to fall off in room 4. In hindsight I would request a room further back as the street was noisy. It was during peak season so noise levels were higher than when I travelled there in August. The chia pudding I think was off as it had a sour taste so I did not finish it (sorry chef it was a great idea!) Maybe someone forgot to throw out earlier.

The room was clean, cozy and had a window for fresh air. The shared bathroom setup was well thought out and modern. The showers and toilet stalls within the shared bathroom are enclosed (their own room within a bathroom). Shower was great in terms of temperature and pressure. Food was fantastic, chips were a favourite however the chicken parmy sold out just before we could order. Make sure to book a table for the restaurant prior your stay as they are booked out most nights. It was quiet after 10pm so the pub must have closed then.
With having a window, there is a chance of insects. Insect spray is provided though.

I had a wonderful stay, the staff were all very friendly and the room and bathrooms were clean and functional. Perfect for a solo traveller or couple heading to derby. Delicious fruit toast for breakfast.
I locked my key in my room one morning -my own silly fault but would be helpful if there was an after hours emergency contact for such occasions

Hotel was close to bike trails and a short walk to town and more restaurants. Our room was spacious with lots of windows and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast, although very limited in options, was nice to have. The restaurant on the first floor was very good and obviously super convenient.
The hotel itself is old and common areas could use a makeover and a deep cleaning.

Breakfast was awesome but no clean spoons in the morning so had to use a tea spoon First night had the eggplant parm with vegetables but the vegetables were uncooked and uneaten The second night had the scalloped risotto No seafood flavour in the actual rice Low on stock flavour Slightly undercooked and too much oil Apart from the food I’d say spot on

Great value and in a perfect location. Facilities were top notch the only thing to be aware of is that during the off season on a Monday and Tuesday night you can't eat at the pub and there is no cooking facilities. The only option in town is the Hub which just happens to be excellent so no big drama.
Breakfast wasn't amazing but for the price I can't complain. Just might want to bring your own or go to a cafe if you want a better quality breakfast

Staff were friendly and happy for me to use the breakfast room throughout the day - I needed somewhere to spend the day while other people in my group were away mountain bike riding.
Breakfast room was a bit 'unloved' - cobwebs, crumbs on the floor, bulk spread containers (vegemite, jam, peanut butter) were messy - lids were not wiped (on the inside). Seemed like this area didn't 'belong' to kitchen staff or bar staff.

Awesome friendly staff that go out of their way to help you. The room was clean comfortable and warm on a very cold night. I would highly recommend this as a place to stay if your taking a trip through the area and looking about
As a motorbike rider I would have loved an undercover area I could pop my bike to keep the frost off her, otherwise everything was perfect

fantastic location in town with easy walk to all that this wonderful village has to offer. Dinner are awesome and it is lovely to have a beer outside in the sun on the tables and around the firepit at night. The help yourself breakfast was easy and had a great continental offer which gives you flexibility in your day. We had an ensuite but I heard the common showers were fantastic
It was hard to hang the towels to dry especially as it was cold and rainy. a hairdryer would have been great

I liked it. Nice atmosphere at this place with the pub downstairs. The showers had plenty of warm water and also those heating lamps to dry after. The breakfast included was simple. Not sure if it's because I said I wanted vegan breakfast as I never got a response to that, but they had soy milk for the musli and serials so that was good. They also had some vegan options on the menu for dinner so for me this was perfect. I stayed in room number two and I wasn't really bothered by the sound from the bar at night as it was very faint.
Nothing really. But I didn't understand where to go and do the check-in. And when I put my head in through the door to the bar, like 10 people stared at me and told me to come in and shut the door. It was more like a funny thing. But maybe put up sign on the outside that says check-in.
