In a beautiful garden location. No traffic noise in this sleepy little town as the property was a short distance away from the main road. Everything was very clean. The Thai restaurant next door in a National Trust building was also terrific. We would happily stay here again.

Due to lack of mobile coverage outside Scottsdale, we did not receive a text message advising us of the change of code number for the key lock. The text message came through while I was on the phone asking for help! We were very pleasantly surprised when we finally accessed the room. Although there was free wifi, it was sporadic. We gave up in the end and just used Hotspot from our mobile phones. The fridge setting was a bit too high. Our milk was semi frozen in the morning. Luckily it was useable.

We liked Anabel's, staying 2 nights. We went down to the Lavender farm and then did a bush walk to the top of a local lookout getting great views of the valley far out toward the sea. The room was cozy, the bed comfortable, shower good. The garden left our room cool and pleasant to look out of. It was a nice restful stay. The Thai restaurant next door served a good dinner with good choices. Pretty decor.

It was a pleasant, compact property with some very nice additions like the garden, so it is hard to fault it. Don't expect a workout gym or anything of that sort. It is boutique, which we enjoyed.

Ease of access to information and resources around the town. The location was excellent within walking distance of shops, art galleries and information centre. The gardens were beautiful and tranquil even though main street was past the verge rarely heard a vehicle. It was convenient to have the Thai restaurant next door for lunch and dinner.

Even though had own room and bathroom you were part of walkway to get go other units. So during g day if in your room didn't have much privacy with other guests constantly walking past your doorway.

Was comfortable in good location opposite beginning of rail trail and easy 1 block walk to Woolworths supermarket. Shower was hot and high pressure, bed comfy with electric blanket and surprise brekky supplies of a couple of small jars of various cereals.

The wifi router failed to work. Staff did best to resolve it but could not do so. Said would need to get a repair person in to fix but could not happen before we left as long weekend public holiday.

Anabel's was very well located in Scottsdale, very clean and beautiful gardens. The room itself was a really good size. We loved the little extras, like biscuits, cereals, breakfast basket, toiletries. There's an on-site Thai restaurant, which had great service and food and was obviously very convenient. Would highly recommend Anabel's - we loved our short stay.

Exactly as expected. It's not a 5 star hotel, but an extremely comfortable, clean, slef catering establishment. Off street parking is a bonus. Temperatures when we visited were 1degC overnight. Main bed had electric blankets and the room had heating - it made the stay that much more enjoyable! The gardens are beautiful. Well worth taking stroll to appreciate them.

Not a major issue but Anabels is on the main road into town. You can expect a bit of traffic noise, especially from the large trucks. I'm a very light sleep but still managed to get a good night's rest.

One of the most well appointed studio apartments we have stayed in. It was large and comfortable with all the fine touches. Generously provisioned with breakfast cereals, ground coffee, multiple types of tea and quality toiletries, the owners had taken our comfort seriously. The view from our room was of the gardens. The bed was comfortable and the onsite Thai Restrauant served excellent fare at a reasonable price.

I regret only staying 1 night

The bed was extremely comfortable the room clean and it had everything I wanted. The gardens were lovely for sitting back and enjoying a glass of wine and relaxing. There were a few little things that needed repairing but overall the room was fantastic and I would stay again.

The curtains were not working properly and damaged so hard to position properly.

Some breakfast food (not expected) was provided, ie eggs, jam, bread. Crockery, cutlery, biscuits, tea & coffee provided also frying pan, saucepan. And an air fryer which we didn,t use.. Attached Thai restaurant very good. Lovely gardens

nothing. All good. Good value unlike some places.

This was my second time at Anabels, I booked a second time hoping I would get the same room, and I did! Super comfortable bed. Clean room with a gorgeous view of the garden.

My only complaint was not receiving check in information before 2pm, but as soon as I contacted them, they sent through the information.
