I had a wonderful stay at Sports Garden Hotel and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The friendly staff stood out immediately, always welcoming and ready to assist with anything I needed. The hotel was incredibly clean, which made my stay even more comfortable. I was especially impressed by the air conditioning, which worked perfectly and kept the room cool and pleasant throughout my visit. Another highlight was the location – it’s close to everything, making it very convenient for exploring the area. Whether I needed restaurants, shops, or attractions, everything was within easy reach. On top of all this, the price was very reasonable, offering great value for such a pleasant stay. Overall, Sports Garden Hotel provided an excellent experience, and I would happily stay here again!

The bed was surprisingly comfortable. Recently renovated without marks on the walls or carpet. Bathroom made easy to clean, so it was clean. Location close but out of the way from main hustle. Manager went out of his way to find me a suitable room. Pleasant staff. Easy 24hr access.

Room smelt like smoke/cigarettes. Leaving car on the street with renowned issues around the area (nothing can be done about this)

We came to Launceston for Festivale and this was the perfect location, only a block from the venue. Great water pressure, comfy bed, clean and modern. At night there was an amazing DJ downstairs and we danced until the early hours.

Be aware that there is no parking onsite. Wasn't a huge drama on Saturday and Sunday as most of the on street parking was free. But during the week it could be a problem. Also, the pub across the road has VERY loud music until about 3am. Not a problem as I wear earplugs but something to note if you're looking for a 'quiet' location.

Location, small room but nice comfy bed, large shower, aircon , fridge, kettle. Nice staff and good food in the hotel. Hotel is very nice.

No parking other than paid street parking. No closet space or mirror in room. Noise from adjacent hotel Friday and Saturday night was horrendous but quiet at other times.

Staying at a pub my expectations were a little low, but as soon as we entered the pub and were greeted by friendly, cheerful and helpful staff I was pleasantly surprised !! Even the security guards out front were happy and friendly. You have an amazing team here so do what you can to look after them. Customer service was exceptional at all touch points of our stay. The room although very basic but brand new was fantastic and clean. The bathroom was spotless functional and the water was hot with good shower pressure.

If I had to be picky it would be that the pillows were not good and very soft and the room was sparsely furnished and needs a full length mirror perhaps

It is in a perfect location and is really handy to everything that you need in the city centre. After a long day of travelling it was really convenient having a restaurant and bar downstairs.

We enjoyed everything about the Sports Garden Hotel. There isn’t anything that we would change.

It was fresh and clean and located close to our venue and the city centre.

It was very noisy due to the location of our rooms being in close proximity to the beer garden. However we had been warned of this when booking so no fault of the management.

Very clean and new. Good convenient location. Staff extremely helpful and was happy to accommodate our requests.

The shower head is mounted too low on the wall. A better set of pillows could help as the ones they were provided were too thin.

Continental breakfast in well appointed period dining room, home made compote, plunger coffee! Kiln Restaurant provided a most enjoyable meal, interesting menu, friendly and competent staff! Carolyn & Graeme the Custodians/Proprietors were very, very helpful, nothing was too much trouble!

Good value , great friendly professional staff . Room was comfortable & well presented.

Although warned about the noise from the property opposite, an even though we were on the opposite side of the building wow, it was loud !
