The location was very convenient, being close to Launceston and also it is partly on its way to Devonport which was our ultimate destination. We have often used it as an overnight stay having landed in Launceston around 8.30-9.00 at night. We then have a short drive to Hadspen, a good night sleep and then we are refreshed for our drive to Devonport.

We are generally happy with the accomodation. However we occasionally find ourselves in one of the older rooms, however as this rarely happens it is not really an issue for us. The area around Hadspen and its river is very pretty particularly on a frosty morning.

For the price compared to other accommodation I was pleasantly surprised how comfortable and the amount of amenities in the standard unit was surprising too. A good place to stay near the airport where we needed to catch a plane on the second morning.

It would have been handy if the near local IGA was open (think it was closed permanently) for picking up a few groceries.... couldn't see any other shops around town. But that's not the fault of the Discovery Park!

Excellent location to Launceston airport, as only 15 minutes' drive away. The Cabins are well equipped and very comfortable. We were able to use the Park's gas barbeque for dinner, which was handy. Lovely comfortable bed and pillows.

The main food shops are a 7-minute drive away. Would be good if Cabin Bedroom also had Aircon for Summer heat.

Location. We were travelling between Devonport and Launceston so Hadspen suited us fine for access to both towns. Due to low temperatures water flow was a problem. The staff worked hard to fix these issues. Well done to the staff.

We found the beds somewhat uncomfortable.

Location, and the young lady on my check in was absolutely wonderful relocating us because of the bunk beds.

The fact most cabins have bunk beds. Perhaps a bedside table in both rooms would be great, also the taps leak wasting water.

The park is set in an idyllic setting with friendly staff. Just drive a bit further down the street and you arrive at a very quiet area with a beautiful river running down. The cabin had everything I needed.

Our bed was a bit warn out being a bit lumpy in places.

Staff have been amazing! I left a sentimental jumper behind and they have been very helpful posting it. Cabin was huge and would be great for a family or group of friends.

Location was a little out of the way with limited take away options nearby.

I was sleeping in the bunk bed. We booked for 3 and yet I still had to make my bed..the mattress designed for young children as it was foam. My hip bone bruised as it was hitting the slats. All that being said my parents in the queen bed said they were very comfortable. The heating was good

Great central location, clean and tidy accomodation with all the basics needed for a family. Great amenities and great staff. Stayed for Easter Sunday and surprise with a Easter egg hunt for the children 😀 . Great value for money
