Location was excellent, close to town and amenities. The motel at first seems a little cluttered but on closer inspection it is full of lovely little touches of art, which makes it quite quirky. Added bonus was an outside area with cooking facilities. We did not know this was available when we booked. Very quiet area at the back of the hotel where you could sit and relax. Also secure parking with gate that keeps your vehicle safe. If you have been to Mona and liked it you will love it here. Sunny was so welcoming and extremely helpful. He made our stay special by being so lovely. Photos taken after our stay, beds were mad up perfectly before the photo.

Instructions to use the machinery in the cooking area. Was a bit confused with some of the equipment. Not a criticism just a preference to an oldie and technology.

I could'nt utilise the Breakfast and had to leave early, but from What I saw I will be revisititng in the not tot distant future. Hosts were Warm, Courtesious and exceptionally Politite treat their guests as Family but in a very professional manner. Highly Rocemmended

The facilities were excellent with the community cooking area out the back; the off-street secure parking was bonus! The linen and beds were great with heaps of additional blankets if you needed them. The host was very welcoming and he bottles his own olives; check them out! Knowing that the property was built in 1881 gave the stay a certain historic richness that you won't find at any hotels or motels. Just around the corner from Coles and up the road to the Cataract Gorge. I will be back!

I had the upper street frontage room and early arriving guests were quite loud. But only happened once.

Boutique, quirky accommodation near to the city centre. Helpful & friendly staff, quiet surrounds and good facilities. We had asked for 2 rooms near to each other and we had our own private wing which was great. The accommodation was near to a park, supermarket, take aways, and roads in and out of Launceston.

Decor was a bit cluttered, especially with a mobile toddler.

The room was unique and it suited our purpose.

We found the bed to be firmer than we are used to, but it prepared us for sleeping on our self inflating mattresses on the Overland Track!

The rooms are a great size and very comfortable and the location is quiet and close to the centre of everything. Sunny the manager is always welcoming.

The place was built in 1873, so it had a lot of history and character. Our host was a friendly and helpful chap. There was gated security at the rear of the property for the car.

Our room was upstairs, which could be an issue if you have bad knees and carrying luggage to your room. Unfortunately the "bathroom" was a bit pokey with no fan or power point.

We liked absolutely everything about this place! Sunny is a wonderful helpful host who is sharing his home….very comfortable and inviting rooms and outside area, walking distance to takeaway food, bottle shop and restaurants

Loved its quirkiness!!! Full of curios, memorabilia and antiques. Not your standard, sterile property. Little nooks to sit and read/relax. Outdoor deck area where you can prepare food when it’s warmer. Secure guest parking. Sonny was extremely hospitable
