Liked everything. Facilities in the bedroom, bathroom was neat. The shower/bath combo was good and it was so relaxing to take a bath after a big hike. Liked the portable aircon, it was very powerful. They gave extra pillows which was nice as it used it for my back support. Disliked-the sink. Maybe some clogging. Water took forever to drain. The counter space was basically non-existent so didn't even have the space to pour my soup in the bowl or apply butter on the bread, and so on. It was odd to have the wash sink close to the bed, but it was okay. Thr mattress was a little uncomfortable but nothing too bad. I'd definitely stay here again.

The property has yesteryear character. It has a certain charm to it. The rooms are clean and feel fresh. There’s a heater if you need it. Definitely eat at Steve’s Grill downstairs. I had two great meals there and excellent coffee! Motel staff were helpful and pleasant. - Adequate TV (not smart TV) - Bathtub - Tea and coffee facilities - Modern bathroom - Coles supermarket right across the road
The stairs are killer! Best not to attempt carrying lots of luggage upstairs. Try to pack light or only bring a carry-on case up to your room. The blinds are not really blockout so bring a sleep mask. Some may find the road noise a bit much but I thought it was ok. - Lighting could be better - Bathroom is a tight squeeze but you can work around it - Room lock could be updated

Location was good, only a short walk from the city and very close to supermarket. Staff were nice and rooms were clean. Lots of tea and milk! For a short stay on a budget this is a great option.
Room and bathroom were both quite small. We were considering eating at the pub below but they didn't have any vegetarian option at all, it worked out well though as we went to Monsoon which caters for meat and plant eaters and was really great food.

It was well located with a Coles across the road. Our accommodation was clean, comfortable and well looked after. It's was compact but had everything you needed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the food from both the restaurant and their pizza shop.

The young receptionist was very welcoming and helpful. The restaurant on sites was good value.
The lock on my room was unusual and when I was in the shower someone opened the door that I thought was locked. Fortunately he/she left without taking anything. I informed the manager by text message without follow-up......

Good value for money. Very clean and comfortable. Very responsive staff by email. It was a budget hotel but its service and upkeep was beyond what we would expect from a budget hotel.
The lighting in the room was a bit odd - the ceiling spot lights shone right into your face when you were lying down in bed, so even sitting in bed watching TV was uncomfortable with the light in your face.

I enjoyed my stay at Centennial Inn. It suited my purpose for a night's accommodation prior to departing Launceston for home. The location is good, lots of things within walking distance. Close to Cataract Gorge although I do recommend having a vehicle to get up the steep hills. There is a Coles supermarket across the road which is super convenient. Steve's Grill serves a delicious meal.
Was a bit noisy with traffic, but it is on a main road :)

Location was great, across the road from Cole’s, plenty of places to eat out including the hotel restaurant itself with a bar.
Could do with a table, there’s a toaster and kettle, but the smallest bench. Only one chair in the room, so I had to sit & eat on the bed.

Room was clean and comfortable for a one night stay. Bathroom was small, but clean.
There was a muck up with the booking and when we arrived the owners couldn't find the booking, despite me clearly having all the confirmation and booking references on my phone. Offered a bigger room, which was fine, but it had two single beds instead of a double.

I found my stay at Centennial Inn comfortable. I stayed for two nights at the start of my journey around Tasmania. The location was good, especially having a Coles Supermarket across the street where I could get supplies for my journey. There was a kettle, toaster and microwave in the room. Basic kitchen facilities but this is all I needed. I would recommend staying here. Bed was comfortable.
