We had an issue with the bathroom in our original room. The staff, in particular a lady called J, moved us to another room however there were issues with this room as well. J then moved us to an apartment, for no extra cost. This room was lovely and looked over the leisure park, very pretty at night as it was all lit up. It was also peaceful as we were at the back of the property. Our first two rooms were at the front of the property and attracted traffic / bar noises during the day. Our room was very large and had cooking facilities. Special mention to J and also to Zac who also was very friendly and accommodating, ensuring our stay was comfortable. We would stay here again due to their wonderful customer service.

We got a free upgrade when we arrived at the reception, so not sure how big the original studio room supposed to be but our room was very spacious! There was a proper lounge area, pantry area and proper dining area in the studio, and the studio was clean, well maintained and very comfortable. The apartment was next to the Cataract Gorge Reserve, and we went for a walk in the evening, it was really fun. Short drive to city centre and Woolies, it has everything you need for a pleasant stay.

Not sure if they were insects or frogs, they were very loud at night. I had no issue sleeping listening to them singing, but my husband had to put on ear plugs in order to sleep.

the place was nice and clean, the bed was so comfortable, internet was good, bath room and shower area were a nice size, perfect size. check in and check out was nice and easy. was really great on the day of check in, was due to check in at 2pm, got a text at around 11: 40am stating that the room was available to check in now, that was great news and a lovely surprise as i was waiting in my car to check in at 2pm. fantastic service guys. 100% top marks.

the work bench for making a drink was just that little bit too small, manageable but would have been perfect if that bit bigger so it could fit the kettle and toaster on it at the same time. very small issue.

The beds were very comfy and the apartment spacious. The shower was great with good quality shower gel, shampoo, conditioner dispensers and body moisturiser, soap and sanitiser dispensers in the bathroom. We loved the family size 2 drawer air fryer! Very good internet connection, easy access, great for a family.

The highway is passing just nearby and was very noisy on our side (but the other room was quiet). Earplugs were given on the side table probably in anticipation of a complaint! Also we could hear the next door customer coughing. The rooms are not soundproof.

Location is excellent and the size of the room with cooking facilities.

Place needs a little face lift, flywire screen broken and bedding could do with improvements. As the studio was on the ground floor, we could not let natural sunlight in as the public would be able to see in. It would be appreciated by other travelers if double blinds were installed some time in the future. Appreciate that these are costly improvements! These are just minor points for accommodation that is in a great location and affordable.

The bathroom plumbing leaves a lot to be desired. The basin plug hole is in urgent need of a a thorough cleaning, it's a problem that many hotels and motels have. The shower head was definitely past its use by date as it was extremely difficult to adjust the various flow options, also the conditioner dispenser in the shower, didn't ! The nozzles of that type of apparatus need to regularly be cleaned out as the liquids congeal and won't flow.

We liked the apartment, and the little balcony. The location, between the waterfall and the Tamar river, was very pleasant

Breakfast wasn’t available in Penny Royal on Thursday so we had to walk down to Kingsbridge. We liked our apartment but found it very frustrating having to walk up and down the staircase from the carpark. The gate leading to the inner area of Penny Royal was padlocked, so while we could take the lift up there we still had to walk up and down the stairs to our apartment, not easy carrying luggage when suffering from painful knees

Loved the outdoor entertainment and Alidas Restaurant was outstanding. Staff were excellent and the room was comfortable with all amenities provided. Great character throughout.

Wasn't aware there would be stairs to the room and as we had two bedrooms there were further stairs indoors up to them. Fortunately we are still reasonably fit seniors. The shower was over bathtub. A rubber mat was provided but still felt a little unsafe while showering.

Fantastic welcome from friendly, knowledgeable staff at arrival. Apartment was clean and had everything we could have needed for our stay, even hot plates in the kitchen nook along with the usual kettle, toaster, and microwave. The building is beautiful with lots of character and plenty of space for parking. Great location close to city centre but far enough away for peace and quiet. Penny royal adventures are right behind the apartments, featuring a waterfall, boat rides, gold panning, cliff walks, and zip lining. Restaurants and bar on site as well as an ice creamery and pizza place.

Very nice layout. Can walk to the park area. My family said food was expensive. The room was very quaint we finally worked the aircon going especially the key Pleasant staff. Followed through on our wake up call even though we left early I was very impressed about that. Now I’d be prepared to walk the steps I’d try to ask for help before I arrived. Very comfortable. Would come again.

Stairs In side and from car park. Difficult for me as I have a bad bacK no lifts or help. I loved the overall experience. But the banisters were loose in parts. Maybe my place more advise on aircon and other food outlets that were close. Phone numbers of food etc. To explain the aircon more clearly and the key below it. Map of the local area transport,other food and restaurant close by, I’m sure everyone will be more relaxed People waking in the bedrooms were very loud due to the flooring. It looked beautiful but carried a lot of sounds down in the lounge area.
