As a first time visitor to Launceston for a 2 days, I was looking for somewhere that would be a great base with a really modern room that was good value for money. I was blown away at how nice the hotel and my room were for the price. The hotel looks like it's been built recently as the room is practically brand new! Bed was super comfy, a big TV on the wall and a beautiful bathroom. Not to mention a perfect little desk in the room to get some work done too. The location was also fantastic as it was a stones throw from some amazing cafes nearby, as well as a 5 minute walk to Launceston CBD. If you have a car, there's also a car park that's free of charge to use once you provide youf rego at the check in desk. It is a first come, first serve system however so I can imagine it would be frustrating if you don't get one. Checkout being at 11am is also a nice touch because who wants to be checking out at 10am! Not me that's for sure.

The TV in the room wasn't a smart TV for some reason? Would have loved to have been able to open up YouTube, Netflix or Kayo. I know they had live tv channels and a big collection of movies pre-installed to watch but in this day and age it's a bit strange to be honest. A few snacks and drinks in the mini fridge would have been nice to purchase for a snacker like myself! I arrived quite late on a Sunday night when most places were closing for food and the restaurant they had was a bit on the expensive side. Would have been nice to have a room service option as I had to walk into the city to get something. I understand it's a boujier than normal hotel so higher prices are expected but there wasn't anything for a reasonable price on the menu - and I'm a foodie :(

My room was large, modern and comfortable. The restaurant served great food and a scrumptious breakfast (chosen from the menu) was included in our room price. The staff were friendly and the location was very convenient. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The room could have had a few more amenities, such as a mini-bar, a couple of biscuits to have with a cup of tea, a bathrobe and a few more toiletries (shower cap, cotton buds, make-up remover pads). Another towel rail or hook in the bathroom would have been useful too - perhaps aesthetics triumph a little over practicality there.

The room, facilities and location were great and perfect for our stay. Also the breakfast was great. As someone originally from Tassie, it's nice to see a hotel that has the facilities and quality you want without being overpriced and dated like many other options in Launceston.

Nothing major but you have to book for breakfast. I have never had to book for breakfast as a hotel guest at any hotel ever. Although there was a brief message to say you need to book meals I thought it was referring to dinner. We arrived late in the evening from London and they said there would be no breakfast available for us. Luckily we went down in the morning and they slotted us in.

I absolutely loved the gymnasium. it as a highlight - well equipped, clean, with a good range of equipment to use and compact, clean and easily accessible. The location adjacent to the botanic gardens was a bonus, as was the easy walk to the main shops. Rooms are spacious, well equipped and ours had a lovely view.

The room had some dust on the side walls so needs to have a general clean. The beds were large but too soft for me personally. The white fabric curtain in our room was torn so needs replacement if that is an option.

Good location, easy to walk to places. Lovely bathroom and provided amenities. Comfortable bed. Lots of space to put things down and the separation between spaces was really nice. Felt quite clean and had tv in bedroom. Breakfast was decent, and flexible in timing. Staff were nice when serving breakfast.

The plug next to the bed is not above or across from the side table so plugging in anything required you to move the side table to put it in then move it back. Not a big issue, but one to note if you aren’t that able bodied to move stuff around. It is quite modern and industrial feeling, so if that’s not your thing don’t stay here. It took me longer than I’d like to admit to understand to use the room card on one of the elevators to then press the floor button. I would like to have been told this by reception when checking in so I wasn’t getting frustrated. In general receptionist was there but didn’t do a whole lot unless asked. Better posted signage for entering the limited parking/ drop off to the building would be helpful.

Super clean, really spacious rooms, Foxtel, great selection of tea and coffee (incl. a pod machine). More of a business hotel, so no kids. The staff were always very accomodating and friendly. Parking is free onsite which was a huge plus. Gym wasn’t your standard hotel gym, it was so much more. It was clean, had dumbbells up to 20kg, a bench, treadmills and a cable machine. Location was also right in the heart of the city next to a beautiful park and close enough to the shopping district.

The staff at the front desk from beginning to end were superb! I have to also single out the restaurant for many reasons. The staff also were so kind, inviting and helpful. I am vegan and it wasn't obvious what options would be available. They catered for me each morning at breakfast so well. Highly recommend the big breakfast (veganised). The ingredients so tasty and so fresh. I wasn't aware when booking that a gym was available - that's an added bonus.

I would like a toaster and maybe some more utensils e.g. plates knives forks - just in case you want to have something in your room.

We stayed here for 4 nights and loved it! We enjoyed going downstairs and having cocktails and entrees, we had dinner 1 night at Diverge and ordered the scallops for entree and curry for mains and we would go back for both of these dishes - to die for. The location was fantastic, the city park across the road, with plenty of cafes and shops around. The staff were friendly and kind. The room was large and comfortable.

We felt the restaurant was trying to kick us out one night, the server asked us to hurry up when ordering cocktails and the kitchen turned their lights off. Loved the cocktails and food though!

Lovely modern and industrial designed hotel. From the outside it does not look like that much but inside it is elegant and moody:) Servicing of the rooms daily is great and there is even a guest laundry onsite and parking. The option of a room with lounge or something might be nice - but I do not believe this exists? It is a boutique 5 story luxurious hotel room in pretty much the heart of everything. No real views to speak of...but the rooms, bathrooms and hotel common spaces modern, clean and classy.

A bigger room option.

We had breakfast is the Diverge restaurant and it was delicious. The room was very modern and the bed was super comfy. We had a comfortable and quiet stay here.

The hotel has four (4) Chargefox EV chargers which was one of the primary reasons for us to stay here (as EV charging is quite scarce in Launceston. We found that non-EV cars always park in the EV spots. We were fortunate to get one on our first night but the second, no chance. Upon asking the hotel we were advised they do not discourage people from parking there. This is very disappointing as this is the only way our vehicles can "refuel". I've written to the hotel manager to see if this can be changed but if you have an EV and are staying there or intend to charge there, beware as there is a high probability you won't be able to.
