It is a cute property that felt very welcoming. There were so many little touches on the outside like blown up rubber ducks decorating the yard area, chairs/ table in between rooms to sit outside, hanging plants along the walkway, the pool area was set up with tropical decoration and lights. The rooms were very clean and quaint. Little touches inside like the small tray table, and the bluetooth speaker that looked like an antique radio were so nice. The welcome folder listed local businesses that were popular with locals for suggestions to try while in town. I met the manager of the property and he was so kind and welcoming as well. The kitchen by the lobby was stocked with various beverages (soda, water, tea, coffee) and snacks that were complimentary to all guests at any time. The kitchen also had an ice maker, toaster/convection oven and refrigerator that could be used during the stay. There was a nice area with tables and chairs outside the lobby/kitchen area as well.

There was not much shelf/storage space, but there was a small shelf with rod to hang some clothes and there was room in the room to keep the luggage out of the way.

I love the retro feel of this little place. I felt like families must have felt traveling in the 1960s. The colors are perfect-oranges and baby blues. The pool is beautiful and clean. The motel sends your check-in information by email so you can go straight to your room. I’ve never had an easier hotel/motel experience.

If I have a complaint, it is maybe having a second garbage can. There is a small one in the bathroom and we filled it! However, I understand that it does take away from the room’s charm.

Loved the location and the motel was simply delightful and so clean with plenty soft towels & fab pool towels provided. Manager was great and very hospitable if you needed to ask her anything 😊 breakfast in the communal kitchen fri-Sunday which was a lovely touch and bonus for sure 👍🏻 beach vibe decor of the rooms which we loved. Five minute drive from DT BSL or 30 minute lovely walk which we did most days.

Nothing whatsoever

This was my first solo travel and I loved everything about Driftwood Motel. I felt safe and comfortable. The property was so charming and accommodating. The pool area was everything I needed. BSL was amazing. The crunchy tacos at Barucudas were phenomenal. I left this trip feeling renewed. I am so grateful.

The manager was so nice, property was clean. You could tell the place had been remodeled and looks awesome. It’s more set up like an AirBnB where you get a code to your room. You also have access to a kitchen with appliances and a stocked drink fridge for guests. Perfect location in BSL! Already planning our next stay in the summertime!

Although it looks like a 50s Travel Court, the Driftwood Motel has totally modernize and fresh rooms. Very Beachy feel. Didn't get to try the pool. There weekend biscuits and homemade jelly were Really yummy. It's a great base for the area.

It was on a main street, but we didn't hear any road noise! Really no complaints!

The Property was renovated as. understand and it as great. Clean, comfy and mid-century inspired. Great pricing too and lots of towels. I could have used an ice bucket/machine tho - lol.

It was all good. Nothing negative to report. I wish the rooms were bigger but no biggie really.

Very clean, neat and to the point! This place looks like it has been completely redone and is very nice. The 24 hour kitchen for guests is a great bonus and the light breakfast on the weekend was delicious!

Everything was great. The room & property were clean, the staff was friendly & the light breakfast & coffee hit the spot. The only issue was the air conditioner. When it cycled on, it was so loud that it made it hard to sleep.

It was very clean and look really nice. I read many reviews of how it was which was nice reviews so we wanted to give it a try also. We are glad we did. Lovely pool and able to park in front of your room and walk straight in.
