Kalix Boutique Hotel offers beautiful and tranquil rooms which are also very spacious. The bed was great and there were plenty of seats or tables to place your stuff to. The location is very quiet and easily reachable by car and you have a private parking space which is part of the room fare. By walking it does take some time to reach the town. The staff were friendly.

You don't have many services or facilities in the hotel and you don't see the staff that much. Instant coffee at the breakfast unless you knew to ask the waiter for a specialty coffee.

An incredible room: large, clean, modern and a joy to be in. The property is beautifully maintained and the location was perfect for us as we visited Spis castle one day and the Tatras the next.

Everything was great, though I wish the kitchen would have been better stocked: there was no microwave or bowls. Our room on the third floor -number 302 - was stunning. But older folks or those with mobility issues (or heavy bags) should know that the property has no elevators.

Fantastic breakfast, spacious room, great cleanliness, friendly staff, comfy bed, and convenient parking spaces — although be very careful driving through the gate if you have a larger car.

There was no air conditioning — although, to be fair, it's an old house with thick walls, and it stayed reasonably cool even in the middle of summer. Also, the TV didn’t have Netflix or other streaming apps, which would’ve been a nice addition.

The hotel rooms are very spacious and bed is very comfortable, also area and rooms are very quiet - we had a very good sleep! Location is good considering we were there for the hikes - easy to get around

We feel like that perhaps little bar area in the room or in the hallway with a Nespresso machine or some tea could be nice, considering there is no bar operated constantly

Surrounded by nothing interesting nearby, no facilities for mountain hikers in the room - like a place to dry wet clothes. Personnel available in limited time frames (breakfast in the morning / checking-in in the afternoon). Narrow entrance to the internal parking - might be an issue for bigger cars. Too soft mattresses in my personal opinion.

One of the best hotels we have stayed in in recent years, a spacious, cozy, warm and quiet room. It is important to note that the room is equipped in a practical way and every detail has been taken care of. The breakfast is excellent, and especially the warm attitude of the staff towards guests. I highly recommend staying at this hotel.

The hotel is located in a quiet area, 10 minutes from the city center by car. Everything in the hotel was perfect, starting from the rooms which are really spacious, brand new, comfortable and clean. Breakfast and coffee was really good. It is a good starting point to visit the Tatra mountains, aqua city in Poprad and Slovacky Paradise.

Absolutely astonishing place! Very cosy and with thos unique atmosphere. We felt like staying at some boutique hotel in New York. All personel was very friendly and mostly this super gentle Waiter who served our delicious breakfast. Highly recommended!

Beware, that some rooms doesn't have AC (double check all info in the booking before making reservation), we arrived during the summer and it was extremely hot, thankfully there was room with AC available and we were able to move. It's probably not a big deal during the rest of the season

However, there is no elevator. There are 30 stairs to the 1st floor and 20 more to the 2nd. Consider it, if you carry suitcases. There are no facilities to make tea or coffee in the room.
