Clean rooms, good location. Hotel has available parking for additional fee. Overall, price meets the quality you get.

No air con, so it was very hot in the room during the day. Breakfast was a bit dissapointing - lack of options, not very delicious. Also, no kettle in the room, which is sad because after long hike it would be nice to have some tea in the room. But the most disturbing thing is hotel requests to rate the hotel 9 or more. Othervise, there is request not to rate hotel at all in order not no lose good rating. I believe it's not nice behaviour and every guest should rate hotel in a way they believe hotel was worth.

Worst shower ever because I'm not a kid. Shower head locking position is about 1.2m off the floor so I knelt to do my top half & stood to do my bottom half. Yes it can be hand held but that’s awkward. Why couldn’t the slot for the shower head be at a normal (say 2.1m) height? But it was hot. No toilet roll holder so the paper was located on a shelf behind the bowl. Just awkward.

Room was modern and comfortable, only downside was that it was quite small but that was I guess understandable due to the price.

Breakfast was review as exceptional on booking.com and I have no clue where did people get it from. We came in the middle of the breakfast time both days and many of the kinds of food where missing or had last pieces, very little of them were reffiled by the staff. Even the kinds of food that were offered were really basic and we were really dissapointed by this.

The location is an excellent, close to the bus, rail station and the town centre. The room was nice and clean, the room facilities very good, the bathroom nice, just need a little bit more attention to details with cleanliness/ a shower enclosure/ but nicely done next morning. The breakfast fresh, tasty, good selection and the restaurant a nice and clean.

The biggest "N0" , the hig and steep entrance stairs and no barrier-free access. So difficult for women to enter or exit with a heavy luggage. We have been accommodate on the 8.th floor, it was too hot, no fan provided. I have asked by email via booking form to book a taxi on the airport, I also asked at the check-in, I reminded in the evening and I found in the leaving morning the booking was not done. Luckily sorted after my checkup in time.

Reception ladies are very nice and helpful and always smiling.location is perfect short walk to the centre.

Brekfast hot buffet egs sausage etc .are so bad .if you come for breakfast after 9, nothing to eat, just a few dry egs and soaked sausages .not good. Rooms are renowned. However, in the shower, no handle is slippery, which is dangerous without a handle .and the shower head is located so low that you need to use one hand to keep the shower. So unhandy .but overall, nice stay

"I had an excellent stay at Hotel Satel in Poprad. The newly renovated bathroom was a standout feature—modern, clean, and beautifully designed. The hotel’s laundry services were top-notch, especially for a three-star hotel, providing convenience and efficiency during my stay. The view from the west side of the top floor was incredible, especially at night when the city lights added to the atmosphere. Claudia at the reception desk was a huge help with everything I needed, ensuring my stay was smooth and enjoyable. I will definitely be returning to this hotel whether for work or leisure when staying in the heart of Poprad."

For the price i paid i had no complaints that disrupted my experience

The building is the old Soviet style. The hotel looks like the time has stopped at the 80’s. It’s a very nice and clean hotel though. It’s located ideally half way between the center and the train station. About 5 minutes walk to the station, and about 3 minutes to the center. The rooms are clean and nice. It’s a little bit noisy sometimes from outside of the hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. Good value for the location, and breakfast is included.

The strict check in/out times. They have no flexibility at all. I had to check in at 3 PM, and I tried to ask them to let me in earlier. They didn’t let me. Also, the checkout time is at 10 AM. That is really very early! Again, no flexibility here. They said that the cleaning staff come at that time. Additionally, the breakfast is until 10 AM. Also, very early! Not excellent, but still good breakfast. Otherwise, the hotel is very good.

We loved this hotel. I am not a 5* person so 3* is my usual level. I would say that Hotel Satel is 3* PLUS. The location is perfect - a few minutes walk from the town centre, the excellent railway station, the bus station and Kaufland and Billa supermarkets. Our room was not huge but large enough for the two of us. Beds are extremely comfortable, bathroom and separate WC, very good. We loved the balcony with its views, despite the -0 temperature. The staff are simply wonderful - receprion, dining room, cleaners. Thank you to them all. I won't be specific but reception arranged something for me, as a 75 year old, that I was especially grateful for. Poprad is a lovely town/city. I have been in warmer weather but, for me, winter, with snow, is when the town really comes alive. We had a wonderful few days and Hotel Satel will be my choice whenever I return - it is fabulous.

A kettle in the room would have been nice but coffee with the included breakfast was excellent and only a short elevator ride awaay.

Its great location, just next to the city centre and train station as well . I like breakfast and reception staff were so helpful and kind. Thank a lot for the chance to get breakfast earlier for take away. Everything was packed and it was really kind. I bought the tickets to Poprad Aqua zone much cheaper too. Thanks a lot for everything. And will back shortly. I loved that view from my window.

WiFi can be better. A bit slow.

The hotel entrance is not very pleasant, and therefore creates a false impression, because inside the environment is much more pleasant. We had an updated room - it is really clean and cozy. If we understood correctly, the bed mattress comes with special waterproof covers - which is not necessarily pleasant.
