In terms of price-value it is an excellent hotel, highly recommending it! Very kind staff, renovated and very clean and comfortable room. Reception desk operates 24h, you can also buy mineral water (both still and with CO2), drinks, snacks, toothbrush and things like that - very convinient if in the middle of the night you need something like that (I needed mineral water in 2a.m.). For breakfast they had regularly poppy seed cake which helped a lot my stomach (I had a minor diarrhea before I arrived). Nice food in the restaurant, also lovely artistic paintings on its walls! They have at least 3 elevators, all of them were clean and functioning. The hotel is 5 minute walk from the train station (I used a taxi for 3EUR due to having a big luggage), which is a very practical transporation hub for visiting (highly recommending buying a daily pass at the train station, very cheap and convenient!) the nearby Tatra mountains and the lovely towns, villages and mountain lakes there - ask for a map at the hotels reception desk. Right next to the hotel there is medical center if needed, the bus station is also next to it (didn't use it) and there are few shops, pharmacies and supermarkets nearby. I wish I could stay a month in Hotel Tatra! Looking forward to stay there again!

Not really an issue, but the bathroom with the toilet does not have a window (at least a small one) which would make the ventilation process even quicker (but even without the window the ventilation was fair), but many hotels and even appartments are made like this for some reason.

Staff were amazing, we got all the help we needed and they gave us some discount to some attractions, it's all what you need in a luxurious hotel. Location is gold and it's close to nearly everything (bus and train station, supermarkets and old town) Rooms Are spacious, and the most important is that the bed were comfortable, which is hard to find in every hotel.

I'm still give 10/10 but there is just some critiques just to improve the service. Breakfast was very simple, limited variaty, the hotdogs and meats were sometimes cold. Other than that all good.

Everything! I had amazing experience in the hotel. Personal were amazing thank you. Didn't have problem with anything. Very nice room, breakfast included in the price was delicious- continental, sausages, lot of options for bread and rolls, fruit, yoghurt, eggs, vegetables. Very happy with staying. Nice big room. You can ask staff to enjoy sauna, go on massage etc. Rent a bike. Supermarket near the hotel. Train and bus station. 24 hours reception. Hotel have own restaurant and offering weekly menu and weekend food too. They really made my short staying amazing and I will definitely book again. Thank you all!

All was really great!

It was in a good location, 5 minutes away from the train station. Lots of choice for breakfast! Great views of the Tatra mountains. Weather was hot but the rooms remained cool! The smoking areas on each floor was good!

my only thing that I disliked was that there was no toast on offer at breakfast. the cups for tea was too small, personally I usually have a mug of tea in the morning!

Excellent hotel for those who do not have high expectations. Yes, the interior is a bit outdated, but cosmetic update have been done, the furniture is new, everything is clean and functional. Very good breakfast. Close to the bus station, train station and supermarkets. A very good starting point for a hike in the mountains.

There were problems with the shower, but it was bearable.

IThe stiffness of the mattress was to my liking and it was deciding for my good rest. And everything was very clean. The window could be opened and the air quality during the sleep was excellent. Free WiFi was available.

Choice of the meals for the breakfast was rather modest. But it was included in the room price, so it was also absolutely ok.

Breakfast was ample and sufficient. We tried the restaurant's cuisine which I can only recommend The location of the place is very good walking distance to Kaufland and Billa. Although the train station is close by but this does not take anything away from the perception of the place.

There is no such thing

Very nice place to stay. Everything is expected to be clean and is. Jumping point to High Tatras using the tram... 4€ to get there and any point along the front of the Tatras. It makes going up affordable. I would stay here again. The staff was friendly, and the snacks - yes - the chips! Fluffy and Yummy!

The front furniture is dated, but clean. What more can you ask for in a place to stay.

Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff, clean room, tasty breakfast, great view from the window. Exactly what I needed before and after the hikes.
