This is the rare case, when photos are worse, than the hotel is. The room is not dark or gloom! Very clean. Very well maintained. Good pillows and matresses. In the center of Planegg. The stor is right below the hotel. 2 nice restaurants are beside. Wonderful doener right in front. Good breakfast (good cofee, which is rare luxury in hotels, and berries!) 5 min walk from S-Bahn. Very nice and responsive personnel. Definitely reommend if you seek simple and good stay.

Planegg is not Munchen :) S-Bahn goes every 20 minutes. The commute is not very comfortable thus.

We got a lovely welcome from staff that made check in and parking easy. It was a Saturday night in octoberfest so understandable the price felt high, but in all this still is a good hotel. The room was on the small side but had everything we needed, comfy bed, good heating including the bathroom floor, and good shower pressure was great. Breakfast in the morning was traditional and nice.

Our only issue is a not pleasant design fault of the actual toilet. I’d recommend replacing them. It’s an odour thing! The shower pressure was fantastic but again although it’s a tight space a slightly bigger shower space would have made this place fantastic. Some larger people will have problems with the shower space.

Excellent location, just minutes from the S-Bahn. Room worked well for a long stay. Breakfast was fantastic and we needed all 10 days to try everything. Staff was very helpful, including making arrangements for an odd check in time with our suitcases arriving before we did. I enjoyed the church bells announcing the time. We took some time to strategically plan where to stay. I will not hesitate to stay here again. This was a great, quiet location with easy transportation options for Munich, Starnberg. Many great dining options as well.

Very friendly staff. Well renovated and spacious room and bath room (for our 3 bed room). Good breakfast. Quiet neighborhood.

My request to get the code for the key safe was only answered after 5 days. This was probably done as the key (and code) would only be available close to the arrival date, but it made me worried as there was no reaction.

Very easy travel to/from Munich. Large room with small kitchenette. Breakfast was delicious and staff was very friendly and accommodating. Planegg was a nice town to visit.

We were there during a few hot days and there is no AC (common in Europe.) We were warm on top floor. Just something to know if traveling during warm months.

Extremely clean throughout the building, the room was larger than I would have expected and the beds were comfortable. The room and bathroom was well equipped with everything we needed. The continental breakfast was tasty with a varied selection. Staff were lovely and helpful. Location excellent with the S-Bahn only a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel.

Large, well appointed rooms suitable for families. Good out of hours access and excellent breakfast. They were also extremely helpful when we needed to access a doctor locally during our stay

Everything. The room was beautiful and large and the staff always kept it clean and tidy. Lovely shower and space for our family of 5. Staff were always so friendly and professional - they are exceptional at what they do.

Everything was perfect at this hotel, the small city, the staff was top, always smiling and helpful, breakfast was a festin. I rarely saw a breakfast well organized like in this hotel. Extremely clean and cosy, for sure I will come back to my next visit in Munich!

Everyone is very friendly and make you feel like family. The breakfast is good with made to order coffee and tea. There is a small grocery store that is adjacent to the hotel. Multiple bus stops close by and short walk to the train station. City center is a short ride away. Great small town feel!
