The property is directly on the beach front, the outdoor area is magnificent, beautiful scenery, mountains and sea with a very nice green terrasse:)

It is crowded with people, noisy all the time, hence hygiene is compromised, especially in the restaurant area…plates in the restaurant are not always clean, one of the persons in charge of seating is in the restaurant was very rude with discriminatory attitude towards who would be seated at the tables with sea view, when the general policy should be “first come first serve”… The building looks very old and needs renovation on the outside, although the room is nicely renovated and clean…

location is ideal for someone wanting to swim in the pools and nearby sea - restaurant is great - lovely fresh local food with lots of variety every day - the surrounding mountains make it very picturesque

personally I found the evening entertainment a bit too loud but it was obviously enjoyed by lots of other guests ... for the second year in a row - having requested a room with bath - there was no bath plug ?!? - fortunately maintenance dept found one to fit at the second attempt / after a couple of stormy days we visited the beach only to find that we could not access the sea as large mounds of seaweed had built up all along the coastline and had not been cleared away / despite emailing hotel to ask for airport collection we had to phone them on arrival to find they said no trace of my email :(

Great location near airport and out of Palermo city. It is right on the beach and off the beaten path. The patios and pools around the property are really beautiful. Had an all inclusive style buffet restaurant and an accessible bar. Rooms were great. The staff were all fantastic also. Parking included on site as well as access to shuttles. We stayed here when we flew in and right before we flew out and will stay here again next time.

Property was just fine, maybe have a restaurant that serves off a menu as well. This would up the scale.

This hotel was wonderful and far exceeded our expectations. It was really more of a resort than hotel. It had multiple pools, tennis courts, a very short walk to the beach, a spa, a restaurant, several bars, large hotel rooms and bathrooms that included daily cleaning, amazing views and a great staff. We had multiple beautiful places we could relax at, a full homemade breakfast every morning that was included with the room and great views with great sunsets, We could walk to many different restaurants and the staff took care of all our requests, even those requested before we arrived. I really can't say enough wonderful things about our experience at this beautiful hotel. The hotel even set us up with a driver to take us to meet our Italian relatives.

A little bit difficult to get into downtown Palermo from the hotel. The spa was very difficult to reach to make an appointment and although the staff was wonderful, the pedicure was not. But with that said we had a awesome experience staying at Saracen Sands Hotel & Congress Centre.

Free parking. A lot of room to park. If there is a conference and the closest parking lot is fully taken, there is one more across the street. There are pools. (Although not officially open at the beginning of May, full of water and can be taken for a swim even now.) Really close to a very good sandy beach. Very good dinner. In spring it was a la carte. Silent new fridge in the room. Great bathroom with a bide. No noise from the street.

Very thin walls. If there is anything going on in the hallway or next doors, it seems like it is happening in your own room. Usually very noisy till midnight and after 8 am - you can't really decide to miss breakfast and sleep in - incredibly noisy. No ventilation in bathroom. Window opens to the rooftop - view is bare concrete. No tea kettle in the room. Bad hair dryer - hardly works, but works. Bad breakfast. Mostly just sweets - pound cakes, croissants, cookies. Salty meals included just the very essentials - omelette, bacon, sausage, boiled eggs as warm meals and cold meals had one type of salami, ham and cheese each. Old furniture. Creaky and from the last century. (But the rooms themselves are renovated and fresh.)

I would like to leave a positive review about the hotel. I really enjoyed my stay, clean rooms, friendly staff, very tasty food (thanks to the chefs!). The sea is next to the hotel, a good beach. I really had a good rest. Every evening live music and dancing. Thank you, I will come back.

The hotel was only 15 minutes from the airport. By train and by taxi. We did a late check in and therefore we missed the ending meal. Cold food was left in our room at our request. The hotel was very clean. Staff constantly working. It had its own sandy beach which was extremely clean. We were given our own chaise lounges and umbrella for the amount of days we stayed. The meals throughout the day was open buffet with red or white table wine at lunch and dinner. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a group of young entertainers which entertained us for over an hour in the morning, afternoon and evening.

It would have been easier if at mealtimes the name of the delicious meals were written near the serving dishes, so that we knew what we were eating. The entertainers at night only spoke Italian and we are unable to follow the entertainment. But then again, most of the guests were Italian.

We got the half board (breakfast and dinner) and was very much worth it. Both the breakfast buffet and dinner buffet are excellent. The dinner changes every evening and has a nice variety to choose from. We really like the wine on tap. We certainly recommend this place.

We were familiar with this place and were curious to see what it would be like following some refurbishment, we were impressed with the general improvements and upgrade to the rooms and various other changes made to the structure.

Seaside location, well maintained, courteous and helpful staff, generous and varied included breakfasts, dinners delicious, spacious and design influenced rooms and other gathering areas, beautiful beach with east access on property. We did not want to leave and return to cold and already snowy Canada.

Not their fault but we missed the season of swimming pools being opened by a few weeks. We were there in late November 2023.
