I am extremely satisfied with the room overlooking the Sicilian sea and the services provided. The view was marvelous, it was refreshing to wake up and gaze out at the sea each morning. The room was impeccably clean, which is very important to me. The hotel staff and owner were incredibly kind and approachable, always ready to assist and recommend the best places in the area. The location was also perfect, with superb bars and restaurants just a few meters away, making it easy to find excellent places to dine or relax. All in all, it was a fantastic experience, and I would gladly recommend this accommodation to others!"

The accommodation was beautiful, as was the view from the terrace. The staff was so very friendly, and Irina the owner was such an angel. She gave us all the info we needed, about the best beaches, restaurants, the goings on in Sferracavallo and she even helped us with public transport when we were confused. The breakfast was great. The rooms were very nice and had airco. Besides all that, Sferracavallo was such a nice place with welcoming people. We will definitely be returning!

Nothing bad to mention

We absolutely loved our stay at Una Terrazza sul Golfo! The place is charming, comfortable, and perfectly located. The views from the terrace are spectacular — a wonderful spot to relax and soak in the beauty of the sea. The B&B is beautifully maintained, and the atmosphere is welcoming and peaceful. We also loved the neighborhood of Sferracavallo — lively, authentic, and right by the beach! It’s the perfect mix of fun, local flavor, and stunning seaside scenery. A fantastic place to stay if you’re visiting the Palermo area — we can’t wait to return!

The accomodation itself is great, very clean and nice seating areas on the roof terrace. Breakfast was ok with drinks, yogurts and pastries being served to the table. The host provided a lot of very useful information about the area which was very helpful. The train station is very accessible and makes it easy to access Palermo.

The town itself was very noisy on a weekend evening, although perhaps this should be expected. The food options in the local restaurants are very limited to fish and seafood with very few other choices. Neither of these things are the responsibility of the accomodation of course.

The staff and lady that greeted us were amazing! The accommodation was nice, beautiful view and nice patio to sit on. The facilities were nice with rooftop breakfast. Lots of restaurants close by but everything in town closes down in the afternoon so be prepared.

The bedding wasn't comfortable for us. As with much of Italy, the sheets are very starched and stiff. No nice comforters provided. The bed itself was ok - not the worst we had during our trip but not the best. Very noisy street all hours of the night, I didn't mind but if you are sensitive to noise... this one is not for you.

Really enjoyed the stay. Friendly staff, very clean room and nice breakfast. Beautiful view from the balcony was a nice bonus

Although the area was nice, the closest beach were polluted with trash and especially lots of broken glass. Not the fault of the b&b, but I generally was sad to see all the trash in streets, beaches and sea in Sicily. If staying in Sferracavallo, I recommend the beaches closer to the natural reserve or Isola del Femmina

Super nice B&B, friendly and very helpful staff, clean and big rooms, good breakfast. Location is really nice, close to everything. Walls/windows block out most noise from the streets, residents from the same building do make a lot of noise but this seems to be an Italian/Sicilian thing 😅 we had this at all our accommodations during our Sicily trip. I would definitely recommend this B&B and would return 😁👌🏼

Staff very welcoming. Communication with Irina was amazing which made everything so easy. Being able to message and get quick replies was perfect. She sorted out any minor things very quickly. Chose room with balcony and lovely watching the street and the sea but had to wrap up warm. It is well situated with station 10 mins walk away so could get to Palermo easily.

All good with the b and b. Area is lovely but we were there off season and it would be different in the summer. We didn't have a car but got around with buses and trains to a limited extent. Would have been good to be able to sit our more without wrapping up! Beautiful scenery and walks along coast .

I’ve had an amazing week of stay in this B&B with an stunning view over the sea, the host Irina was very kind, accommodating and always ready to help, the room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was served on a terrace, it consisted of two baked goods, one salted, one sweet, fresh fruit, yogurt, jam, orange juice, toast bread and a coffee of choice. It was served from 9-10 but when I wanted to have my breakfast earlier, Irina offered the tickets for a bar next to the hotel. This is a GREAT value for money and the experience was just perfect. The accommodation is situated in a lovely fishing village and has beautiful views of the mountains and harbour. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes around if you don’t feel like travelling. There was a great breakfast provided on the top deck every morning and the room was comfortable.

Air conditioning was advertised when booking however when we arrived we were told that it was not working as it “was not hot though” although the temperature was mid 20’s. We were told that a technician would come to adjust the air conditioner for use however they never did. It was quite difficult to sleep as we had to keep the balcony door open due to the heat which let a lot of noise into our room. Ensure that the air conditioning is working before you arrive!!
