Old but charming resort on the beach. Hotel beach is covered by pine trees, with high mountains behind - a scenic scene! Fantastic breakfast and lunch, don't skip it! The beach is not overcrowded and there are just enough facilities for a nice vacation. Two small towns, Baska voda and Promajna are in a walking distance. Rooms are tiny, but fully renovated

I knew in advance that rooms are very tiny and that there is no air conditioning in annex buildings, but... it was a serious problem to sleep when it was around 30C in the night, so we kept the front doors and balcony doors opened. The resort really needs a renovation, but I suppose it will heavily influence the prices

I am very satisfied with my stay at Hotel Alem in Baška Voda. The hotel has a unique charm that reminds of better times, with a soul you rarely find today. Everything was clean and well-maintained, and the restaurant staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Food is domestic and nice. This place truly stands out with its character and nostalgic atmosphere. It deserves to be kept and preserved so future generations can experience its uniqueness. A hidden gem!

The property is situated in a beautiful aromatic pine forest. I loved being surrounded by those beautiful pine trees. It was so serene and peaceful- pure tranquility. The majestic mountains behind and overlooking the property were also so beautiful and breathtaking. The beach was perfect- the sea was a crystal clear and plenty of shade for you to take refuge in when you needed a break from the sun. When on the beach, if you wanted an ice cream, snack or drink, you had options: the shack snack stands on the pathway beside the beach or the restaurant by the beach Plaža. In case you need anything for the beach or souvenirs, you can see Antun and Lara’s shop by the beach. They have such a great variety of things to buy at great prices. Our room was fantastic- newly renovated and very clean. Loved our balcony in the pine forest facing the sea. Breakfast and dinner was included during our stay at Hotel Alem. Breakfasts were generally the same every morning. Dinners were different- always lots of variety. The staff at the front desk (hotel manager Matinka included), in the restaurant and room cleaning staff were all exceptional, very professional, kind, helpful and friendly. They absolutely made a difference during our stay at Hotel Alem. They made it not only positive but very memorable. We stayed 5 nights and loved, loved our vacation at Hotel Alem.

There was no air conditioning in our room but thankfully we had a balcony door which we left wide open during the night. Some of the buildings on the property are very dated but again, there is a simple seventies charm to it. The public washroom on the way to beach is not taken care of- enter at your own risk.

Everything- I loved the privacy, not busy and bustling with people. I loved that the resort is located in an old pine forest. I liked being secluded from the bigger town Baška Voda. We loved taking evening walks into the neighbouring town for a cocktail.

Off the main road, straight to the beach through the pine trees. Numerous spots to swim, sunbathe or hang hammock. Generous buffet breakfast & dinner. Comfy beds, good shower. Fruit boat comes to the beach. Cycle paths & ebike hire delivery service.

Quite a lot of cracked concrete & cigarette butts. No aircon.

Property is very clean, staff is friendly, food is nice and delicious. I recommend this to anyone. This is our second stay here and we will come back again. This place has soul better than new hotels that are not even close to this one regarding peace and real hospitality that makes you feel nice and relaxed. I rate this 100/10

Location is fantastic, in the pine wood. Clean room. Friendly staff. Near the beach, near the promenade. Wonderful beaches. Good food. Good for the families.

Although it was stated on the Booking that there is no air conditioning, and we expected it to be hot but it was almost unbearable and too sultry in the room, and that is the only reason why we will not return to this accommodation.

Beautiful nature around the clean hotel excellent food, beach and crystal clear water of Adriatic sea. Smell of pine, lavande and immortalle flowers was unforgettable. We really enjoyed our vacation❤️

Perfect location, you can see and smell pines and sea and we love it. Our room was perfectly clean. Food was not perfect, but you can always find something.

Aircondition is missing. Sometimes dishes were not clean, we have to change the plate. Also meloons were muddy. And deserts of all colours but same artificial taste.

The room was clean, the stuff was very kind. The halfboard is super, beer and wine is included. The beach is very good, with a lot of trees, the water is crystal clear. We have to leave 1 day earlier because my son got sick and they have give us back 1 day in cash. We will come back definately next year!!!

No air condition, no Fridge, the bathroom should be renovated
