Situated a bit off the highway, bright, clean and for a motel had more than the basic essentials. We were only here for a night, but you could easily use this as a home base for exploring the area. Staff were friendly. Room was spotless! You could tell that the owners put thought into what makes a room comfortable. Lots of pillows for the bed, a throw blanket in case it got chilly. We'll equipped kitchenette. Would stay again.
Bed was a tad on the soft side for my liking, but so cozy that I didn't mind for one night!

I liked that I was still able to book a room within 24 h. I love the location of the Pines Motel and I love, love, love the cleanliness. I feel cozy in those rooms. It's been the second time I stayed with Pines Motel. and would definitely recommend it.
My only petpeeve with the Pines Motel is that all cars are parked right in front of each bedroom. Although my neighbours were all very quiet this morning, I assume that not everybody is quiet in the morning when packing their cars to leave during high season.

We received a warm welcome by the owner. She was very helpful in recommending places to eat and where to buy certain items. A coffee and tea bar is set up at the entrance, which we were invited to use, in addition to the stocked Keurig in the room. There were lawn chairs for each unit and we were encouraged to move them around the garden as we liked. the room was basic but very clean. The bed was comfortable. The room was quiet despite the fact we were in the unit closest to the street. There are several good quality eateries within a few blocks walk. Good value.

The motel may have older facilities, but it was a pleasant and comfortable stay. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and offered a peaceful atmosphere, perfect for a good night's rest. While it's not the most modern, the quiet surroundings and attentive upkeep made it a worthwhile stop.
The addition of a small pool, even just a splash pool, would be a great improvement and provide a nice spot for guests to relax. Refreshing some of the decor would also help bring a more modern touch to the overall experience.

Very clean, good location, nice amenities and good coffee! Nice shower but tub was a bit slippery.. could have used a rubber bathmat for someone like myself with balance issues
Not very soundproof but people didn't stay up late so it wasn't a big issue. Bed could have been a little firmer, even though it was a king, it moved every time my partner turned over.

Clean, comfortable (the bed was great with 5 pillows of varying poof); lush, large towels, two chairs!!! I didn't have to sit on the bed. Patio table. Glass glasses!! scented organic soap, Quiet. Short walk to several restaurants. We chose Moose Mulligins on the water. Cold beer and fish/chips were excellent. Luggage rack in the room, bathfitter tub/shower.
Fridge was not plugged in, and we couldn't get it plugged in

Great little motel with super friendly staff. It's handy to everything you might need in Sicamous: coffee, groceries, restaurants. Very convenient. No concerns. The bed was very comfortable.
On the door side of room 12, if you turn off the main room light, the plug on the wall also turns off. Unfortunately this led to devices not being charged in the morning. It's an older building so perhaps this should have been expected?

The owners clearly take pride in their business as evidenced by the added touches such as hanging flower baskets, coffee / tea station outside the office, and the tidy property. I also appreciated the extremely comfortable bed after a long day of driving, the recently renovated and spacious room, coffee maker / microwave / fridge. Plus it was quiet location and walking distance to a good dinner at Moose Mulligans.

Good stay at Sicamous. Location was good, clean room and bathroom. Room looked nice and updated. Located a short walk from few nearby restaurants.
There was some strong smoke smell right outside the room (might have been from other guests) . Also, could hear train sounds few times during the night. But overall stay was good.

Being a solo traveler, this was one of my favorite rooms for the price. Loved the bed! I really appreciate the extra touches like the special soaps and that coffee maker! Close to the grocery store and the room I found super cozy, I fell asleep on that bed immediately.
I didn't like that I couldn't stay longer! There's nothing to complain about.
