The room was fantastic, the kids loved it. Super easy to keep everyone entertained. The common rooms were awesome, lots of different things to do. The ghost town was so much fun. 50% off because we were staying at the chateau and we only had to pay once, then we could come and go as we pleased throughout our stay.
The hotel doesn't have air conditioning. The rooms got uncomfortable if the windows were closed. But! They did email me and let me know that there wasn't any air conditioning (during a heat wave), and they let me know while I still had time to cancel. So it was uncomfortable but not anything that the staff could do. Unless they know how to turn down the sun.

The concrete paths throughout the garden and along the back, the indoor and outdoor garden, the common area, exploring the hotel after my kids went to bed and spooking myself was a personal highlight 😆 There was endless things to do, my kids rollerskated and scootered around the entire property at every given opportunity, and a family favorite was finding a new route to and from our room (128) to the restaurant at mealtimes. We could have easily spent a week here exploring the hotel alone, one of my kids even wants us to "just move in to the hotel"! Thanks for the great stay, great memories
The hotub was like having a warm bath w a pile of strangers. There arent any actual jets and the temperature was too low. Towels could be available in the pool area

The location was amazing. The room was comfortable. It is alongside a major highway but the balconies face into the inner courtyard and so traffic noise is minimal. A bit of a puzzle finding my way around but that added some fun and there were well placed directions. Lots to do in this area and may come back with family.
There was no microwave for reheating a meal but we made do. We understand that the chateau runs on its own electricity generating system and quests are requesting to be mindful of this. There should have been a recycle container in the room. There was however one by the elevator.

It's a hidden gem. There's much more to it than you see from the highway with the beautiful gardens and beach. The hotel and rooms are very clean and comfortable. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The dining room staff were very friendly and pleasant despite being short staffed and very busy. The Food was fast and delicious. The attached ghost town was very interesting and fun to walk around, especially the roundhouse with the old train cars
We had no complaints whatsoever and am looking forward to returning for perhaps 2 nights so we can spend a day relaxing on the beach and enjoying the facilities a little more.

This was such a hidden gem! The rooms were clean and cozy and had just about everything you would need for a short stay. The gardens were well kept and beautiful and the common areas had lots of activities for kids of all ages! The restaurant staff were so kind and you could tell every inch of the restaurant/hotel were designed to keep that rustic, old timey charm.
The beach by the lake could use some improvement, as well as the dock. The beach was just a tiny patch of sand and the dock was half underwater. Maybe some additional chairs/additional seating could make the lakeside a bit more welcoming.

three lakes is a icon of travel in this area. We prefer it to the Revelstoke area for staying when in Canada. The 3 lakes make you feel like you are in Europe. The adjacent "ghost town" is a fantastic, well laid out, informative tour through early pioneer history with some train features thrown in. The staff is very helpful and accommodating. The rooms are very nice and most have a view of the adjacent lake. It would have been a wonderful location for a wedding or similar event.
It was not needed, but there was no AC in the room. Considering the location this should not be a problem. the dining facilities are somewhat spartan, however the food is very good.

The view from our room was terrific as it overlooked the "courtyard" and beach area. This prompted us to explore the grounds before dinner and again the next day. The next day we toured the museum and ghost town before continuing our road trip. Altogether it was a terrific experience and we will probably go back. We had a lovely meal on the deck off the dining room the night we arrived and the service and food was terrific. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly. We have recommended this hotel to friends.
No air conditioning for the months of July, August. We are now experiencing unprecedented heat waves and it never occurred to me to ask if there was air conditioning. As the hotel generates their own electricity, I don't know if this would be feasible. Incidentally, and not that it is a big deal, but there is only wifi available in lobby, however it gave us a chance to totally get away from our smart phones and computers.

Very nice place , museum was a great experience, kayaking on the lake is the best ever . Place is clean and all the rooms are lake facing, beautiful views, friendly staff. We stayed 2 nights on the way to Vancouver and back . Both times we enjoyed the stay very much . There is no wifi in the rooms , but on vacation I would better to stay away from internet , watching wildlife on the mountains is much more interesting. No air conditioning, but it was not very hot those days , we were lucky to enjoy the stay in full . Going into the woods on a little train so much fun , for kids should be very attractive. Thank you!

Of course, the most attractive thing was the ghost town museum for us. As hotel's guests we had 50% ticket discount. And it completely satisfies our expectations. This town is built from either real houses or replicas and have internal furniture/equipment, the most interesting exhibits were trains (one of them was used as the premier minister car) The hotel is situated in a beautiful place - between mountains and tremendous lake view. The hotel does not have a complementary breakfast but you can have it in the cafe. We had a dinner - with nice view and delicious dishes.
As a historic hotel, it may have some historic scents and if it's important for you - keep that in mind. The other thing is the lack of air conditioning - again, it's a known nuance but in some hot days - this thing is highly desirable (especially if you live on 3rd floor). They provide a fan - and you can fresh air at night a bit.

It's such an interesting property, there is so much to see and do. The location is beautiful with a view of the lake and the mountains and despite it being close to the highway and the train tracks, the room is really quiet. The beds are really comfortable, the staff is very friendly and welcoming. And the ghost town was well worth the visit.
The property has so much potential, it's too bad that it's not maintained to a higher standard, especially on the outside. The patio door is hard to maneuver and the lock is somewhat broken. In the laundry room, the dryer didn't dry, I had to run two 45 mins cycles and the clothes were still wet.
