Felt like our room was recently updated (it was much nicer than some pictures I saw in the reviews). It was spacious, clean, and comfortable. There were lots of hooks in the bathroom, and plenty of clean towels left for us. Love the contactless check-in process. The hot tub outside is great for unwinding after a long day of shredding. It’s only a 12 minute drive to Revelstoke Mtn.

Walls/floors were a little thin, so we could hear other guests walking around and shutting doors in the morning. If you are early to rise, it shouldn’t be a bother. We only noticed it on the last morning of our stay when we took a rest day and slept in. Some hotels have white noise machines on the bedside stand to mitigate this problem.

We didn't intent to stay here but due to a road closure, darkening skies and fresh snowfall, it was safest to stop for the night. With three adults and two dogs in tow, it was initially a case of where will accept the dogs! However we were pleasantly surprised by the staff, layout of the rooms and comfy beds and turned a frustrating delay in our travel from BC to Alberta into a chance to rest and enjoy. Located near some great amenities and restaurants and a base for lots of guests enjoying winter sports. Had to take the dogs out to do their business in the night but felt safe walking around the lot. Great place!

I had a fantastic stay at Northwinds! The staff was welcoming and attentive, making check-in a breeze. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The hotel’s location was perfect, with easy access to local attractions and restaurants. The overall atmosphere was peaceful and inviting. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a top-notch experience!

Fantastic property, everything is new, comfy beds, even the pull out couch is comfy! Microwave, cups and keurig included. As well as soap and shampoo! AND two different colors of towels for people who use makeup :)

That the train is right next door and you can hear it all night, if you’re a light sleeper this will bug you. There isn’t a kettle either, an electric kettle would be nice.

Super clean rooms, spacious, renovated bathrooms, most comfortable beds and pillows, love that they either have the tv on the fireplace channel or soft music when you arrive - such a unique and welcoming touch to customer service!! Great stay and amazing price!!

The hallways are dated and not as clean and you can smell the exhaust from vehicles in the mornings when everyone warming up their vehicles and can hear people talking in the hallways. But not a big deal. Wish they had a breakfast option!

When i booked, it said breakfast was included which was a huge reason we booked this hotel. However, the morning of our ski day we found out there was no breakfast. So we were late to for our ski day since we had to stop and eat something in town.

The process and checking in are very easy and smooth. The fact that they reply with text and answer call right away makes everything easier. Hot tub is superb! Clean rooms and very close to ski resort. My first choice of hotel when I visit here next time

Location was good. The room had a beautiful view of the mountains and the passing 🚂. Room was so big! Foaming hand soap was THE highlight, smells so good !

The AC/heat was so loud throughout the night, also sound proofing was not efficient as we could hear door closing and people talking during the night.

The location was conveniently close to all amenities and also just around the corner from jumping back onto the highway. The check-in staff were so helpful and kind and worked to change the room location to accommodate for our pet's needs. They were wonderful. The rest of the staff were friendly and helpful as well.

Great location with just few minutes drive to the town centre. Huge parking lot in front of the hotel, just few steps away from the room.

Missing a dry / storage room and/or lockers for snow gears, not ideal to carry all our gears back to the room everyday. Would be nice to have some recycling bins around the property.
