The apartments are spacious, beautifully designed, and offer stunning views. Room service is exceptional. The rest of the staff is proactive and genuinely kind — I even managed to recover a shirt I had forgotten in the apartment after checking out, which was a nice surprise. This place has all the makings of a hidden gem on the Costa Brava, especially once it finds its gastronomic identity. Right now, the limited dining options left us with a bit of a bittersweet impression when leaving the resort. Huge thanks for being pet-friendly — it's a big plus!

For the kind of Apart Resort we’re renting, I was really expecting better food options. The breakfast buffet is generous and decent, and it's a plus to have café de finca available downstairs for a proper coffee. But beyond that, there’s a real lack of quality choices for lunch and dinner. The wine list is surprisingly limited and underwhelming, and when the bar gets even slightly busy, the service seems to fall behind.

Exceptional nature, beatiful cove. Well maintained nature, an oasis of nature. The sea is beautiful. Tennis courts awesome. The staff is young, dynamic and super friendly.

The “pgygital” experience overall is exhausting, we suffer seeing the staff doing their best to keep explaining the facilities to clients. We had half an hour seminar while checking in, the staff had to explain the facilities., same at breakfast. We were exhausted and just wanted to get into the room. I think a video to be watched in each room would solve this problem (or by phone) Food at lunch was extremely expensive for what was offered. And last, the artificial grass around the pool is disturbing, smells bad with heat, heats up very much so you can’t step barefoot, and full of microbs. Terracotta would be so much nicer

We spent 4 nights at Zel. We were upgraded to a sea view room without even asking. The view was incredible, the apartment was spacious and clean (cleaned every day). There were a lot of activities possible in and around the hotel. We did a hike, spent time on the beach, played mini golf, wandered the area, used the indoor pool and wellness, etc. Breakfast was included and it was a wonderful buffet with a wide variety of choices, anything you can think of for breakfast. From reading previous comments I was slightly worried about extra costs, but the only extra costs we paid for was the dinner (which was also buffet and wonderful; 40 euros per person, drinks not included), a lunch (25 euros for a starter) and minigolf (2 euros per person). The parking was free, although it was mentioned this was specifically for the first 2 weeks of opening, the wellness, indoor pool, gym, beach, funicular use etc were all free. As we were there shortly after opening, the hotel was very calm and the staff was very available and attentive. Their efforts to make our stay special was greatly appreciated. The hotel is good for a couple but also kids and dog friendly. Overall, we truly loved our stay and were amazed at the location as well as the facilities and value for money. We would for sure recommend!

For a family vacation this hotel is as close to perfect as it gets. We had a large suite with a small kitchenette that was ideal for our family of three, the ocean view was a bonus as this area of the Costa Brava is exceptionally beautiful. The pools, restaurants and spas were all top notch and the food at the beach restaurant “Parda” was delicious. We only did the breakfast buffet which was excellent so I assume the dinner buffet is also good.

My only complaint was with the beach, they should start an initiative to keep it cleaner, either hiring people to clean or perhaps provide trash buckets for guests to help pick up the trash (I’ve seen this at hotels in Costa Rica and everyone is happy to help and keep the beach pristine).

For someone that looks for a place where they don’t need to move this is the perfect location! Very stylish interior, friendly staff and very good breakfast and buffet, I recommend this especially for families with toddlers , great playground and pool for them

When you arrive the staff animates you to do a self check in and scanning a qr code to get this started and then fill in all your detail . While I am all about digitising, this one impacts customer experience negatively, I don’t want to arrive and spend 10 minutes filling in data on my mobile phone…additionally, Even though you have a cable car you need to walk quite some stairs, for us it was no problem though

We stayed there with our family for 4 days, and everything felt like a fairytale. Every corner, every square meter was so beautiful that it brought tears of joy to my eyes. The hotel has a delightful scent throughout, both in the lobby and in the rooms. Everything was extremely clean, cozy, with bright and spacious rooms. The food was incredibly delicious and varied every day – a wide selection of meats, salads, fruits, different types of cheese, and mouthwatering desserts. Everything was thought out down to the smallest detail. The staff was absolutely wonderful — everyone was very friendly and always ready to help, even with the smallest things. We were absolutely thrilled. I can’t stop praising this hotel — it truly deserves all the compliments!

The location was breathtaking and the interior design and style of the place were super nicely done and very luxurious. Big compliments to their interior designer !The rooms have everything you need and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The beach accessible from the hotel property is a big plus. The pools both inside and out and the steaming room and sauna were great too ! The restaurant at the hotel is a bit expensive but they offer a shuttle every hour to the nearby town which is a plus.

There gym and the classes werent fully ready yet whilst we were there. The AC in the gym didnt work and there werent any matts to do exercises. The equipment was also outdated. Other than that there were some small bits and bobs that were clearly a sign that they were not open for very long. Some gaps in communication or unclarities. No major issues though and im sure with them being open longer this will improve.

The hotel decoration is really modern and tasteful and the common areas and rooms are all recently renovated. The indoor pool, sauna and gym are amazing! The hotel is great for people who enjoy sports and staying active during their vacation. The sea was warm and crystal clear. If you're not taking your car, there's a cheap shuttle (3€/person) from the city center to the hotel. Call ahead of time to get a schedule since this is not announced on Booking or the website!

We still had to pay for some activities like tennis which, given the price and theme of the hotel, could be included. The indoor pool and sauna could also have a more extended schedule (it was from 10-18h). The water pressure in the rooms was very low which become a little annoying. You could tell the hotel is still going through some renovations after a change of ownership so I hope some minor things are improved next season.

The location and the place was wonderful and very peaceful, the funicular was very helpful for moving around the facilities

I feel like they are short of stuff, they were very nice and friendly however we had to ask many times for some stuff. Chiringuito and restaurant is expensive for the small portions they give but good quality. They close very early so at night there is nothing around to pick some food like supermarket or any small bar open till late where you can grab some food or drinks

It’s a very aspiring project with great potentials. -The buffet was great value for money. I honestly don’t think they make a profit from the food -They go above and beyond for dogs, excellent welcome kit and very thoughtful details -Privacy and comfort. The rooms are great.

-Some accesses to various parts of the resort could be improved with a more intelligent way. If you have mobility issues this is not your place. -Hard to find someone at the reception desk at night -Overall the staff is great but they need some better management. Opening hours were not followed and some of the staff is indifferent to your needs and don’t go the extra mile for the price paid.
