The staff went above and beyond, especially the restaurant and breakfast team who made each morning special. We were touched by the chefs’ kind gestures, surprising us daily with delicious regional specialties. Our room was a dream — spacious, elegant, and complete with a semi-private pool offering breathtaking lake views. Every moment felt indulgent and serene. The hotel’s guided tour of the City Palace and Heritage Walk is incredibly informative and flawlessly coordinated — an absolute must-do to truly appreciate Udaipur’s rich history. This hotel is truly extraordinary, and we can’t wait to return.

We are frequent travelers and stay in many hotels every year - there is no doubt that the Oberoi hotel chain is one of the queen of the jewels of the travel industry, but the Oberoi in Udaipur is the best of the best out of all the Oberoi hotels !!! Our experience at Udaivilas exceeded our expectations. The property is at a beautiful location along with a lake view and there's a lot of space to walk on the property. Our room was clean, comfortable and had a small gift as we celebrated our anniversary. The pool side is beautiful with shacks, trees, open sky and birds. Timeless! The staff was helpful throughout our stay and helped us get our breakfast packed early as we had to checkout early. Also, I forgot my perfume in the room and the staff arranged a free delivery the next day. Thankful to them! Overall, we enjoyed the stay and I wish to come here again!

The staff at this hotel are incredible. If you are looking for a hotel that cares about the experience the customer is having then this is the place for you. We had a lovely experience. The staff really get to know you and tailor your stay according to your needs. It's truly wonderful. The views and location are absolutely stunning. The house keeping team are superb. The rooms are spacious and beautifully designed. This and all the lovely treats make your stay exceptional.

Lovely Location with huge surroundings. Very well maintaned garden and a lot of things to do. We had the Room with privat pool access and it was lovely. Very good Restaurant and good infrastructure with privat harbor and everything. Thanks to the whole Team.

The stuff forgot some little things daily, like filling up the mini Bar or forgot some things in the Order. Maybe a supervisor who checks the room after cleaning would be good.

Location is amazing. I recommend getting the shared pool room if you are hesitating. it was worth the money, we had the best view of the lake and the Castle. There was a convenient sofa by the window, we asked to convert it to sleeping place for our 6 yo son, and he loved it because he could close the curtains and have his privacy there) breakfast was good. not a big selection but they had most of the things needed for our usual breakfast and everything was cooked as desired. this place has a very peaceful vibe. I would compare it to Italian lakes like Como or Iseo very green, quiet with beautiful landscapes that you can enjoy while sunbathing or swimming. compared to other 5 star hotels around this one has nice green territory to walk around.

there are a lot of flowers and trees around the pool cleaning leafs and petals more often would be nice ( even though I understand that happens because stuff are trying not to disturb privacy of guests )

Everything but the staff kindness and hospitality stood out. Mr Sumeir and Mr Abishek were very helpful but all other staff also were very kind.the infrastructure was amazing and the views were so beautiful.definitely the best hotel I have ever been to. The hotel gave us so many surprises and gifts, it was just amazing.

My recent stay at Oberoi Udaivilas in Udaipur has undoubtedly set a new standard for luxury. The sprawling property is a visual feast, seamlessly blending grandeur with tranquility. Every inch is meticulously designed, showcasing a level of attention to detail that is unparalleled. The staff's commitment to providing an extraordinary experience is evident in every interaction. Their warm hospitality, coupled with a keen focus on personalized service was the highlight of our stay.

The property while peaceful is quite far from the center of the old city. Would recommend staying here only if you want to enjoy the property but not if you want to go out frequently into the city.
