If you travel Udaipur and want to be close to the old town, but still search for some calm stay: Here it is. Nice hotel, cosy room, wonderful team and a breathtaking view from the roof-top restaurant and bar. By the way: The food is also fantastic! Don’t miss the sorted bread basket with one of the Indian main dishes. And it’s an amazing walk from the hotel to the city palace. But be aware: There are so many shops and so friendly people offering their goods - you will need an additional suitcase on your flight back, if you’re not investing carefully. What you should consider is a bespoke tailored suit, measurements and order in the morning, ready to be picked up at sunset. If you didn’t have a tuktuk yet: Try it here - like a rollercoaster in the old town’s narrow lanes.

My first visit to Udaipur as a solo traveler, and I am so glad i chose this property for my 3 day stay!! The ambience of this place is amazing. The rooms are luxury-made, the decor is catchy!! They have got terraces and rooftop place to sit and relax - most beautiful view is the sun setting amidst mountains with Lake Pichola view! It all gives you that Royal feel when so many beautiful things around. I woukd recommend to stay at this boutique property if you are not having a tight budget ...!! The hospitality team is very good, cheerful !!

Nothing as such. Just entering to this property for a first-timer is like a maze!! However, that's also fun when u get lost in the maze and pass across the houses of these locals and giving them a smile back is no harm !!!! I was pretty used to the roads after Day01.

The location is in a small central area amongst the local housing which was quiet and had a great rooftop viewpoint of the Lake Pichola. The room aesthetic was amazing! Everything was clean, there is hand painted artwork on the walls, a decorative couch window, and a concrete arch design giving off a vibe of the themes of Udaipur. Aside from design, the basic were also functioning - the fan, the AC, the hot water, the electricity. There was a closet, safe, hot water kettle, fridge and some coffee and tea was provided. All the staff was friendly and welcoming to provide the services we requested.

The locking mechanism for the room could be better, perhaps one that could latch the door upon leaving. If I needed to leave the room while my partner was in deep sleep, I had to bring the key with me to lock it from outside because the door will just swing open if I didn't. The good thing is that I could separate the key from the electric key card that activates the room electricity for them while I'm out.

Booked this place for a surprise holiday for parents. The bookings manager Vansh and the hotel manager were very accommodating and managed the booking very efficiently. The staff made our stay very comfortable. Interiors of the hotel are very tastefully done and rooms are both clean and spacious. Food preparation was excellent and the chef and hotel staff accommodated all our requests. The views from the terrace are exquisite and just the right ambience for a family celebration (though for older people there're quite a few stairs to get to the terrace).

The location is the only downside. The hotel is tucked inside and hidden in the narrow alleyways of the old city and is not very straightforward to get to/out of. we were told cars can't come there and need to be dropped at the nearest car park (a mile or so away). So, our car had no use on those three days and we had to rely on local auto rickshaws suggested by the hotel.

This is a cute, lovely property with very reasonable tariff for the stay in Udaipur. I had boooked on the vasis of rating metioned on Booking.com and I wasn't disappointed. Right from my check-in to room decor, food, staff, overall, personalised hospitality were high class. Beakfast and Dinner on the open terrace was an added bonus. Overall, a pleasant expiruence. Would love to come again.

The only drawback seemed to be, the approach to the hotel from Bramhpol main road by outside auto, since the hotel is located in the area with narrow lanes, where car cannot go. There is no control on how much Auto walas charge everytime and quality of drive. However, the manager of the hotel assured me that they have already in the process of aquiring their own vehicle, which will be delivered soon and the guests will no longer have to tolerate this nuisanve.

The beautifully colour themed rooms with all modern facilities but with a feel of a haveli . The rooftop restaurants overlooking the Pichhola lake has fantastic views , specially at night. The staff were very friendly and made our stay very comfortable. Special thanks to Mr Anoop and the Manager.

The location is inside the old city in very narrow lanes. Only approachable by auto. The WC area in the bathroom should have been a tad bigger.

My 1st visit with Family. Warm Welcome by their Staff, Really Appreciate their Nature, Their Service & Hard Work as well. Staff Member Riya did really Impressive Service. Whatever our Expectations from Any Hotel they did More then that. Food is really Yum, Delicious. Really Overall Best Experience, Satisfied from their Services 👌🏻

An unusual location in the old city, but the restaurant and roof terrace had excellent views over lake Pichola. The food was excellent and really good value for money. The only slight downside was that there appeared to be only one haridryer in the hotel, and no alcohol. But I would still recommend this place as a base to see the amazing city of Udaipur.

Hotel has a great view from the roof and beautifully built. The rooms are great in looks and give you exact feel of Rajasthan beauty. Awesome food and staffs are great in behavior. Thanks to the entire team of Aaj Haveli and specially Mr Sundar for being there to take care if everything in a great way

Location of the hotel is hideous when you want to reach it or travel too and fro to visit other locations. We faced some tough time to reach it

What a beautiful hotel, with cute and clean rooms. The views from the roof top are really cool ! The food at the roof top restaurant is delicious and fresh. The staff is helpful and almost polite, yet still nice.

The wifi sucked, we couldn't do any meetings from our room. The lobby has 100 Mbps+ speed, the room nothing.
