Magnificent property, live music all around and a luxurious stay. Hotel staffs were very helpful and courteous.. special mention and appreciation to Prathamesh, Preetam. They did their best to make our stay memorable. In the lobby area and entrance area, there’s whole day long Rajasthani folk songs, local music.. Ghumar dance during evening and live music during dinner makes the ambience very special. Restaurant managers and chefs personally attends the table to understand/customize food requirements. A 150 year old temple inside the property is a must see and there’re some good piece of paintings and chandeliers. Anytime private boat rides in Lake Pichola was very relaxing. Big thanks to all the Leela staffs.

The location of the hotel is amazing! You take a boat with a beautiful view and come to the hotel. The way they are greeting you upon arrival is unforgettable! The rooms are so spacious and luxurious! There is a very beautiful swimming pool with a gorgeous view on the lake! I had an opportunity to do a massage in the hotel and it was one of the best deep oil massages in my life! I would recommend to go to Kimkimi for a strong good quality massage! It is very comfortable that each guest has his own butler who is available all the time. I was lucky to have such a wonderful smiling, professional butler Foustinus! She assisted with all my requests! I would definitely recommend everyone coming to this hotel when visiting Udaipur! And I was lucky as well to have a local professional guide Mitesh who showed me the city from insight, told me so many stories of how locals live, showed me a ceramic market and how locals do pottery! Property....it's Location...Jetty facility...all is awesome at The Leela Palace, Udaipur

The worst experience of staff team at Lobby / reception at a 5Star property. After requesting & waiting for more than 30mins during checkout, we requested for the essence gift hamper which was being provided to foreigners.... Mr. Shashi and others Staffs there... it seems only foreigner entertainment was priority and Indians on second scale as they told to wait...but when we saw that they were intentionally delaying made us feel extremely disgusting and spoiled the whole STAY.

Location. Food. Service. Fabulous views from the guava garden. Food quality is top notch! Service of some staff is beyond efficient.

Property is a bit tired. Too many flies across the property. Cobwebs in pool area below sun-beds and tables. Too many WhatsApp messages welcoming you and then some of these people disappear. Random “top level” staff come and give visiting cards, initiate “caring” talks then break on-going conversations and disappear as their phones keep buzzing. Same butler assigned to many guests so immediate responses not received from them as WhatsApp Messages are not read immediately. We have to wait for responses from the butler. Easier to dial 0 and get the job done immediately. Booking .com guests are given tired rooms first, then once we complain, we are “offered” better rooms, this persists across all properties, not just Leela. Check bills for incorrect postings.

Breakfast and dinner and also food orderd to room service all extremely good (though service sometimes bad; inconsistent.) Beautiful hotel and grounds, I was especially impressed with the swimming pool area and obviously the stupendous lake view. The boat that needs to be taken to get in and out of the hotel from the main entrance was magical and really lent a special touch to our stay. It is also well worth taking a tuk tuk from the back entrance into the town, great fun. The interior design of the hotel is exemplary and there are some stunning objets d'art and incredible furnishings.

The room wasn't as clean as it could have been and there was a problem with pigeon poo on our balcony. Also the room temperature was a little too high and even with the AC on full it felt too warm to sleep comfortably. Service in the restaurant was mixed - sometimes very attentive, other times the opposite.

This exceptional hotel is situated by the beautiful Pichola Lake. The views are stunning of both the lake and the mountains. The sunset over the mountains is a picture to behold. The boat trip to get to the hotel is really rather special: serenaded by a Rajasthan musician, rose petals that flutter over your head as you arrive and a parasol, held by the doorman, to protect you from the sun. Our room was perfect, we had everything we needed. Plenty of fresh towels and an exceptionally comfortable bed. The customer service was excellent, nothing is ever too much. A big thank you to Kashish, Gaurav and Deepak for looking after us so well and making our birthday so special. The restaurants are a treat with the most spectacular views. The food is delicious, especially the fish curry and the shoulder of lamb. I loved sitting on the patio and feeling the breeze from the lake whilst enjoying a tantalising breakfast. I thoroughly enjoyed listening and watching the evening performance by the Rajasthan musicians and dancers. This really did make this an interesting Indian experience. Finally, the swimming pool is a dream. We spent quite a few hours swimming and relaxing by it. Thank you for everything, we will be back! India is a very special place with great people.

The hotel is stunning. Everything we experienced at the hotel was faultless and staff exceptional. The location was great - you could walk into the old city area, or use the complimentary boat across the lake. The food was exceptional. We showed an interest in local foods and were immediately treated to a succession of dishes brought to us by the executive chef, the soux chef, and multiple waiters. The whole experience was fantastic and I'd recommend the hotel to anybody travelling to Udaipur.

His warmth, professionalism, and dedication to ensuring that every guest feels like royalty were truly commendable. Madhav went above and beyond to accommodate all my requests and made sure that my stay was perfect in every way. Additionally, Aditya from the concierge, His knowledge of the local area and recommendations for activities were spot on, making my Udaipur experience even richer. Overall, The Leela Udaipur offers an unparalleled luxury experience. It’s not just a place to stay; it’s an experience that lingers long after you’ve left. The only regret we have is that we stayed for only four nights. We felt deeply nostalgic as we took our return boat ride from the hotel. However, we're already planning to return, perhaps next year.
