Listing and pictures are accurate. The hostel is in a great location right on Lake Pichola and within a 10-15 minute walk to City Palace. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the view from the rooftop was amazing. We did not partake, but the hostel hosted daily social events that sounded like a lot of fun.

Breakfast was included in our room price with selections limited to coffee or tea and toast or poha. Additionally, the kitchen did not open until 9a, so factor that in if you are planning on an early day. However, this may be different during non-holiday dates (we visited over Diwali).

Located in the heart of the old city, very convenient to walk to most heritage sights. Near market and cool places to eat. Cozy room. Ideal size and clean.

The toilet door bolt was too tight and hurt my friend's hand a couple of times. The room tags said lake view and mountain view but it was lake view, and only as a side view through the balcony. Which was fine by us considering we spent most time outside the room. All the facilities were otherwise cool and the staff was friendly, amiable, and helpful.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Jungle by Sturmfrei hostel in Udaipur and the experience left me enchanted. From the warm hospitality to the breathtaking views, this place truly captured the essence of this vibrant city. The exceptional service provided by the ever-friendly and accommodating attendant, Parit, made my stay even more memorable. The hostel's serene atmosphere was the perfect escape from the bustling city, and it's conveniently situated near some of Udaipur's most iconic attractions. The common areas were thoughtfully designed, allowing travelers from around the world to connect and share stories. But what truly set this place apart was the exceptional level of care and attention to detail, led by Parit. Parit's genuine warmth and enthusiasm for his job were evident when I checked in. He went above and beyond to make sure that every guest felt at home and had everything they needed. Whether it was recommending hidden gems around the city, arranging transportation, or even just having a friendly chat, Parit's presence truly made the experience unforgettable.

The location is very good, in a quiet area in Udaipur with a beautiful view from the lake.

The room it wasn’t clean. After 3 nights I had to ask someone in the reception to clean the share bathroom that was very dirty. There’s no hot water. The common areas were nice, but also dirty. We ask the reception help to get a tuk tuk early in the morning to go to the train station and they said they couldn’t help, that we should do it by ourselves. I would not stay there again, even the price are good.

The location is so perfect, we couldn't have asked for a better one for the price we paid. It was walking distance from the core old city, racing Gangaur ghat. The view was also good. I would say the best thing about this place is it's location for the value. Not too much in a crowded area and you walk a footbridge and you are in the main shopping area.

There's just one thing which was a discomfort for us. There was no elevator! And unfortunately we had huge bags so it was difficult for us to get it up th the 3rs floor. Since it's a backpacking hostel there's no concept of a bellboy or something so we had to do it ourselves. Overall, the staff and service was welcoming and friendly.

The location, the vibes and the people around. It was excellent stay indeed! You get to see lake everyday everytime which was beautiful point of this property. All the attractions of Udaipur are really close to this property with approx under 4-5km of radius. People and services are equally worthy. We had a late departure from the city so they even helped us by sharing their common area to spare the time after our check out.

There was nothing as such I did not like, it was perfect stay at this very reasonable price. Just my personal recommendation would be to have the lift in the hostel because at times it becomes tiring to climb all those big huge stairs to reach beautiful common area, rooftop restaurant and to reach your beautiful rooms on 3rd floor.

it was a lovely stay at the property. The staff was the sweetest to mention Rakhi and their crew member who was from bilhaur, he always had a smiling face and was always upfron to guide and help us with their services. love their rooftop seating and the common area to chill and watch some series at night on netflix with a lovely view. budget friendly, highly recommended

The ambience of the place is extremely cute. The pink doors, comfortable beds, neat washrooms, polite and friendly staff, and most importantly the vibistic common area. We loved it 🫰

Nothing is particular, but it would have been better if my door had any animal name on it as other doors had 🥺🌝. Lol. Just kidding. It was beautiful and everything was nice .

This is my only 1 night hold in Udaipur but I can say that one of my best stay in Udaipur. The view from rooftop cafe is worth it(for getting this view you have to climb on 5 floor; like you are climb a pick and when you reach at the submit you will get the heaven, same vibe you will get from Oasis Hostel Rooftop Cafe) and they also have a common area where you will read book's watch Netflix, prime, hot star & etc.. and of course to vibe with other solo travelers. Room are clean and give a vibe of Royal Rajasthan, staff is very helpful. Thank you Dip and Ajay for making my day.
