The hotel was at the prime location in Chandpole, centre area for many attractions. Almost all famous restrau, Gangaur Ghat, ambrai Ghat and market were walking distance only.. So the location was great, the view from hotel was mesmerizing specially in monsoon. The rooms had good views with large windows... The roof top restrau and view is beautiful.. Only the bathroom was lil uncomfortable as the wc was on hight was not comfortable also the taps had very low flow of water.

Evrything else was good, the staff, they don't really serve food late nights and not very enthu also otherwise the staff was good.

Amazing stay! Beautiful old property filled with antiques, bowels of fresh flowers and excellent views. It’s got that fabulous trapped in time feeling which is what I look for in a Haveli stay. The location is great, right in the old town and on the lake but a quiet peaceful haven. The staff were all very helpful, friendly and professional with out being to over baring that we have experienced in some of our stays this trip. We had brilliant massages whilst there and I really recommend them, traditional Ayurvedic massage and really worth it and good value. I will definitely be back next year!

The bed was a little on the hard side but not much of an issue. The Wi-Fi connection isn’t great, but neither of these things were a problem.

Position of hotel, perfectly placed for sunset views and access to city sights. Decoration in the haveli. The description says double bed and single bed in room. But the single bed was the window cushion.... We changed rooms to a twin with window cushion but the description is incorrect. The single is not an actual bed!

Cold water in the pool, couldn't get into the water! General mess about, plates left at tables for long periods. Beds hard but this is typical of India, only one pillow on the bed. Beautiful terrace but nothing happening up there, even on a Saturday night.

The location was nice, we had a view of the lake from our room. The front office staff was very polite and helpful. I left my laptop behind by mistake, i was informed of it well in time, they were ready to courier it as well. that was really wonderful.

the breakfast service was deplorable. there was no staff available for lunch the day we arrived. it was quite annoying the property can certainly be managed better as there is so much potential

Superb location - convenient walking to all major sights but on the quieter side of the lake. Fabulous rooftop for the sunset drinks and views. Traditional building with decoration and style in keeping with the age and character of the property.

Unfortunately at the time of year we were visiting (December), although the weather was perfect, there is no sun on the pool and surrounding terrace, which I am sure are lovely at a different time of year.

• WiFi was not working properly in the room but there was good one in lobby and common space • Upon arrival our car couldn’t get to the hotel and we needed riksha for the last part of journey so better check with hotel front desk what is the best way of reaching the place

Perfect location, right in the center of town. You can literally walk to everything, yet is is above the noise on a sheltered hill. Our room was a corner Palace Suite Lake view - one of the best rooms in the hotel. Large and historic - feels like going back in time to a different era (in a good way)!

Our only issue was the wifi, despite our (and other guest's) frequent requests, the staff just couldn't get the wifi to work consistently and at a decent speed. If you are working or expect a reliable connection, this is an issue that needs to be addressed by the management.

The hotel was in a great location - a very easy walk into the centre - 5-10mins. Set around a pretty courtyard. The breakfast was very good with perfect service and wonderful views from the roof top restaurant where we had a really delicious dinner.

The swimming pool was pretty uninviting - it was cleaned of leaves etc but was a bit green and needed sorting out. We would have liked to swim but decided not a good idea. Easily remedied with some more chemicals!

Wonderful lake views from the fantastic room, sitting on the long daybed under the open windows. The bed was really comfortable and the windows kept out a lot of the traffic noise. The rooftop restaurant is a great spot to see in all directions. Excellent staff too.

The water pressure in the shower was very low and the pillows were a bit thin..

Lovely room with an amazing view of the lake and city across. Cosy internal courtyard and open to sky rooftop terraces too. Staff were efficient, helpful and courteous. The location is excellent with comfortable walks available around in the neighbourhood with easy access to landmarks - including the palace, shopping, cafes etc.

The restaurant could be improved both in terms of available food as well as ambience. Breakfast should have been included in the room tariff too.
