This is a magnificent property, our flight was cancelled and we arrived late, however everything was exactly where it was described. Entry was easy and the room was breathtaking. Ensuite facilities were so well appointed, plenty of light, plenty of power points, the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was served at the property and was freshly cooked. The coffee was exceptional and the mushrooms and avocados toast was delicious. The staff are exemplary. Quinn was friendly and helpful. We really could have stayed there longer and we will definitely be staying there again
All perfect, loved it

From the moment we entered the gates, we were struck by the elegance and grandeur of the property. Exquisite gardens with water features and meandering paths surround the stately manor house. Upon entering the property, high ceilings and well appointed art pieces with lovely furnishings. The room itself had a large bed, a modern bathroom with a heated floor and a lovely sitting area and large tv. A lovely gas fireplace that added ambience. So many thoughtful details and exceptional gracious staff. The breakfast was delicious, I can not speak highly enough nor can I recommend this property enough.
That I had to leave… it was wonderful

The building itself is gorgeous. It has been beautifully cared for. The room was spacious with the best bathrooms I’ve had in a hotel. The shower was so good. I loved all the artwork the owners carefully selected from local artists. The bed was really comfortable and we had an amazing view. All the staff were very friendly and so accommodating. We also got a complimentary breakfast and it was top tier considering it was complimentary – it was cafe quality. Also one of the best coffees I’ve had in Hobart. I highly recommend this place for a welcoming comfortable stay in Hobart.
Nothing, honestly everything was superb

The hotel totally exceeded my expectations—it was beautiful, from the little garden areas to the interior design. The room didn’t have any weird smells at all. Since there aren’t many rooms in the hotel, it felt super peaceful during the stay. One side of the hotel has views of Hobart city, and even if your room isn’t on that side, there are shared spaces where you can still enjoy the view. A really nice surprise was that breakfast was included in the booking. There was a lovely barista and chef at the restaurant ready to serve guests. While there weren’t a ton of meat options, the food was delicious and beautifully presented—I’d say it was on par with what you’d get at a popular brunch spot. I’d definitely love to come back next time!

What a fabulous find. We came to Hobart in the middle of Dark FOMO and accomodation in the centre was priced accordingly. It was such a lucky find staying at Marylands lodge. We were surrounded by space, warmth and wonderful service.
Pretty much everything, the bathrooms are unbelievable I would expect such features in a 5 star modern resort. Heated floors, huge baths with salts, glass that turns to privacy with a switch rain showers the works. And that was just the bathroom. Our bedroom was huge with a gas open fire, lounge and television and a king size bed. But the best was the wonderful breakfast. Oh and free parking almost outside your door hidden by the beautiful garden.

We chose Maylands Lodge as it was a beautiful old building, with parking in the grounds. The exterior may have been old but the interior was very up to date with everything we needed and more. We even had a view of Mt Wellington. The booking came with breakfast a choice of 5 or 6 dishes, we had two different breakfasts and both were top quality, as was the coffee. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Maylands Lodge.
In keeping with an old property, the windows rattled so we had to wedge them with paper to stop this. Could have done with some extra milk but reception was shut by the time we found out. the hotel was quite a walk from restaurants, so you really need a car to get about.

The Mayland Lode is a superb heritage property. Our room was well-fitted out. Bathroom/toilet was large and clean; cooking facilities available in room, and thoughtfully set out. The hosts were very helpful and showed us the features of the room. Access to our room through a side-courtyard entry was convenient. Breakfast was included in our booking, and was delicious. Parking was available on site. Very quiet neighbourhood.
A small improvement suggestion - a signpost on the driveway entry off Pirie Street would be helpful.

It was a really lovely and unique place. We had a late check in, but the operator left us a thoughtful letter to welcome us. They are also very nice to upgrade us to a bigger ground level room. It was a very spacious, clean and beautiful room. Every corner of the house was nicely decorated and picture perfect. They even have the floor heating system to keep you warm. The shower room was big and very relaxing to have a warm bath after a long day of travel. The TV allows u to turn to face the bed and enjoy Netflix. Overall, it was wonderful place to have a great rest. The house seems to be a historical building, it was decorated with beautiful artworks the local artists. And when you climb up to the tower top, we can see the beautiful overview of Hobart.
my only hope was i could able to know how to access the microwave for some late night dinner

The morning breakfast was fabulous - the staff were a delight & very attentive. The room was spacious and so cosy & warm. The bathroom - luxurious & practical with underfloor heating a bonus in winter. Truly a home away from home, we loved our stay and will be back & highly recommend a stay at Maylands Lodge, you will not be disappointed! Thank you so much for your care & attention to every detail 🙏
There were no aspects of our stay which were negative.

Absolutely everything. Gorgeous room, super comfy beds, lovely view and amazing bathroom! Very roomy too. Continental breakfast was lovely too with awesome service from Bojan. It was perfect for our girls weekend away celebrating my daughter’s upcoming wedding. Bojan and Jake were amazing looking after us as well. Nothing was too much trouble. Greatly appreciated ☺️
It git a little blowy one night due to the weather which woke us with the blinds banging against the window. Not a serious concern though and not a fault of the accommodation
