I had room 715, top floor in which I honestly can say was great. Since I was there for a week, I asked for plates and bowls and they also gave me a microwave. The room was really clean, close to everything I needed. Grocery store 3 minute walk , Woolworth. Mall is right there too. Bus transportation as well. The marina 15 minutes tops if you like walking. It is a beautiful marina with restaurants everywhere. Mures has 26 flavors of ice cream and a great menu of fresh seafoods. Sunday market is small but nice and vendors display nicely. I would love the location if I lived in Hobart. The skybus is a great option for airport in both directions. Their hours are early in the a.m. until late p.m. This is an older city with lots of amazing history. Beautiful buildings, churches and all is clean. Music venues daily at the mall. Smoking is also regulated, so if you hate smoking like I do, you will be happy. The staff inclusive of housekeeping do a great job.

I had a wonderful stay at the Allurity Hotel in Hobart last week. The experience was excellent from start to finish and truly value for money. The hotel was spotless, and the level of cleanliness was impressive throughout the property. What really made the stay exceptional was the staff — they were warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. Their friendly attitude and professional service added a personal touch that made me feel right at home. I genuinely couldn't find anything to fault. I highly recommend the Allurity Hotel to anyone visiting Hobart — I’d definitely stay here again!

Overall great value for money and great location in CBD, where I was able to walk everywhere. Only 6 minutes' walk to the nearest Skybus stop as well for airport transfers. Bed was clean and comfortable. Though there is no daily housekeeping, the staff are happy to replace towels and provide extra soap/shampoo on request.

A great stay, but the only thing I found a bit unusual was that you need to go to reception and talk to the staff to change the temperature on the air-conditioner. (...Therefore I'm assuming you can't change the temperature during unstaffed hours? - thankfully I didn't need to use the air-conditioner overnight during my stay)

On arrival we found that another member of the public had been given our room and parking despite the fact that we had to show photo identification on arrival to prove who we were. We were travelling with other members of our family who did receive their room without incidence. The hotel provided free parking to us while they found us another room. The substitute room faced directly into the rooms of an adjacent building which was unexpected and unwanted, compared to the lovely city view from the room occupied by our family. Following an uncomfortable discussion with hotel staff about the whole experience, the hotel did offer to upgrade the room to a lovely city view room.

Michelle looked after us so well upon check in: she knew we had travelled interstate and had been up at 4am so did her best to have our room ready as early as possible. The location was handy for our needs and had the farmers markets just outside which was a nice treat. Good restaurants located downstairs.

We stayed a week so a microwave would have been handy or a better coffee set up. We were given the wrong room at first and that room had a half decent coffee machine. Actual room we had was just a kettle with instant sachets. Lucky I brought my nanopresso.

Staff are always amazing and location is perfect for trips to Hobart. It's easy to get anywhere you need to go. A stones throw from the CBD and right above a bus hub to all the places you could want to be! Well except the few buses you have to walk a whole 5 mines for!

I've stayed here many times but this is the first time I stayed and the air-conditioning had been locked and not actually usable unless you go down stairs during business hours for any changes. Very disappointed with that. You can't really say air conditioning when you can't use it yourself. It's not even just locked within a few degrees it's straight locked to one uncomfortable temperature. Staff were still kind and helpful with changing it but it just felt uncomfortable to need to do so.

Wifi was good. The room was comfortable and in a good location.

Parking fee - $86 for parking for 3 nights was unexpected and seemed a bit extreme especially as we weren't there during the day. Other better hotels only charge about $10. Made the cost of the hotel more expensive and I may have stayed elsewhere if I had know it would cost that much. The person at reception was quite unfriendly about it and demanded that I pay up front. I didn't feel I couldn't look for alternative options although parking in Hobart is horrendous and this seemed to be capitalizing on this situation.

I saw some mixed reviews about this hotel and so I wasn’t expecting anything amazing but after having stayed at Allurity I would really recommend it. Sure it’s probably not the fanciest hotel in the city. But I reckon you’d be very hard pressed to find anywhere in Australia with friendlier, kinder or more attentive service. Michelle at the front desk was a breath of fresh air. I was there for work for five nights and every afternoon she had a word of welcome, offered advice and would make time for a friendly chat. Ignore the negative reviews - this place is cheap and cheerful and in my view I’d prefer that any day over sterile five star luxury

Convenient location of the hotel as it was walking distance to the city centre for cafes,, restaurants and shops. Elevators were easily available as they were very fast. Staff were very friendly and informative, they were clear with most information and questions we had. Rooms were simple, clean and functional; the bed was comfortable (maybe too comfortable that it was for my back though). Wi-fi access was very easy and spacious desk/surface space. Lots of power point access around the room and even USB ports for direct charging on the desk area. Coffee machine available but there was only one pod available - nice touch but not a huge difference to our stay. Parking price is steep per day and there are limited spaces (hard-pressed if during busy seasons) but great facility that is offered nonetheless, considering its city location.

Unable to change the air-conditioning settings as they were locked, unable to get a fully comfortable temperature and it was intermittently loud during the night. Pillows were not comfortable (flattened out when you laid your head on it) and did not support my neck well, I had stiff neck afterwards. Thick curtain was great but needed a thinner inner curtain to allow natural light and some privacy during the day. There was sometimes an odd stench (sewer-like smell) in the bathroom when the shower was used. Noises from the hallway are not muted out well. Lack of towel hooks in bathroom for drying.

We booked the Allurity Hotel because it was convenient to the Budget car rental where we were dropping our rental car off to, they offered reasonably priced car parking, the hotel was a short walk to the MONA ferry, Salamanca Markets, waterfront, we could leave our bags there after checking out and it was convenient to a particular restaurant that we'd booked into. However, when we checked in we discovered that it was close to many great bars and restaurants, in particular the pub across the road was excellent in all respects. A supermarket was close by. The staff were all excellent. The rooms were very comfortable and had everything that you needed- including complimentary coffee pods which were appreciated. Despite being in the CBD it was quiet and we were able to sleep well. Wifi was strong and reliable.
