Room: It was comfortable, we had a good sleep every night, uninterrupted and slumbering very well Location: It was a good walking distance to the CBD, the up and down slopes are good to burn calories Amenities: Water heater, Coffee, Milk, Blower were provided

One particular night: we woke up to the sudden opening of our door, luckily the stopper prevented whoever it was to come inside. My friend shared that there was no shadow behind the door so we think it's...something else? Microwave is a little bit of a disadvantage as we had to go down and ask the reception to the heating of our food

Good location, handy to the CBD. Room was basic, but did the job. Bed was comfy. Shower was good. Room was serviced frequently. The carpark is tight, some of the spaces are quite small and there are lots of concrete pillars. I was driving a medium-large SUV. I usually had to get my passengers to get out of the car before I parked because they would not have had the space to do so once I parked. We did not eat in the hotel restaurant. It seemed a bit pricey and had very limited options IMO. Lots of options nearby, two I would recommend is Picnic Cafe and Rod Thai.

We had a lovely stay at the Best Western in Hobart. The family room was spacious and comfortable — the beds were especially comfy, which made for a great night’s sleep. Everything was clean and well-kept, and we really appreciated the continental breakfast — simple but fresh and satisfying. The location is also convenient, making it easy to explore Hobart. Overall, a great choice for families looking for comfort and value. Would definitely stay again!

We really couldn’t fault the hotel — it was good value for money and exceeded our expectations. There honestly wasn’t anything we didn’t like. We’d happily stay again!

Staff very helpful and extremely friendly especially the ladies cleaning the rooms, location good, we didn't eat there as so much choice of locations for lunch and dinner, clean rooms, great valie

The first couple of night we couldn't sleep because of the trucks running there motors at 2 am unloading rental cars 🙄but we put a complaint in and staff were on to it, move us to the otherwise of the hotel, with a bottle of wine completely 👍 over our over and that was much better, they went out of their way to make us comfortable

given two rooms next to each other and with views - kudos to the hotel. the balcony while small did allow one to breathe some fresh air and admire views of townscape. room space was reasonable and there's no difficulty laying out luggage. reasonably clean throughout. bathroom was modern and renovated. shower pressure was great! underground parking was as advertised 15 bucks a night and could not be reserved. during the 3-night stay, there were still two or three spaces left when back at hotel each night. space was a bit tight so park carefully. ground floor lounge looked airy and appealing but we didnt have the chance to use it, and it;s closed at night.

reception was not the most welcoming on check-in. maybe we arrived late and it was already long day for her. also ain't sure if there's a possibility of no space being available when returning at the end of day, even after paying for the parking?

clean and spacious

a little far from restaurants and shops, it really isnt that far, a few blocks - but at night as a solo female, it really is a deserted part of town. do not, i repeat, do not eat in hotel restaurant! they need to seriously read the reviews and take notice. i had to ask for a refund after repeated cold food, clearly frozen and this kitchen is just reheating things! this is thier number one complaint and they still repeating the same thing with cold food! there is a woodfired pizza oven, dont even use it and they are ‘specialising’ in pizzas? what is the deal with that?

Good location to access Franklin wharf and restaurants in the area and surrounding activities. Clean, comfortable beds and supplied bathroom amenities (soap/shampoo/conditioner dispenser), tea/coffee facilities and bar fridge. Recently refurbished bathroom was lovely! Onsite restaurant for breakfast/lunch/dinner although no Sunday dinner service when we stayed.

No power outlets to boil kettle aside from bedside or in bathroom. Parking very hit or miss especially if staying on weekdays. Paid parking $15 per day or chance it on the street, weekends a bit easier to find parking but still competitive!

Spacious and clean room, in walking distance to waterfront. There are also a number of restaurant in the vicinity.

Parts of the description are slightly misleading: the walks to Salamanca market etc. take longer, and staff assisting you in booking tours essentially means they tell you to go to the tourist information. Also, if you want breakfast, your only option in the hotel is pay for the buffet, not ideal for people who only want something small.

Clean, large room. Good amenities. Good location.

The bed is too soft. Almost like sleeping on a water bed. Pillows are not very good either. There is a balcony but it's not exactly usable as most of it is used to host the AC unit. I'm not even sure if you can open the balcony door. Walls/door let a lot of noise in from the hallway even though the walls seem to be made of thick concrete. The location was good, however, during the weekend there are a few clubs around that make noise until very late, so be mindful of that if you are looking for a quiet escape.

We spent 3 nights prior to a 2 week "Fun Tassie Tour" and then another 2 nights after the Tour. The Best Western is a 3-4 block walk from the CBD and our room was well appointed. and quiet. On our return we were upgraded and enjoyed a lounge room as well as a bedroom which was perfect as old friends dropped by for a chat. We dined there and thoroughly enjoyed the meal. The breakfasts also were excellent, with a very good selection of fruits, juices, cereals, yoghurts, breads, and Danish Pastries plus a selection of 8 hot dishes to choose from. Great breakfasts.!!

There was no dinner or lunch available on Sundays and Mondays- although a short stroll would find other venues open.
