I recently stayed at the Mantra Collins Hotel in Hobart and had an absolutely fantastic experience. The standout feature of my stay was the exceptional level of service provided by the staff—everyone was warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful throughout my visit. A special mention goes to Prashan, who went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. His professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care truly elevated my stay. It’s rare to encounter such outstanding customer service, and it made a lasting impression. The hotel itself is comfortable, clean, and conveniently located, making it a great base for exploring Hobart. But it’s the people at Mantra Collins who make it really special.

Staff very chearful and welcoming Coofee capsule machine in room

1) No washing machine or dryer in appartment. Have to use communal (free laundry) on floor one 2) No onsite parking. Have to use multistory car park nearby ($18.50/day). Bit of a pain and adds to cost. 3) Inconsistent supply of coffee capsules . Most days 4 fresh ones, but some days, inexplicably, none. Wish they would make upo their minds one way or the other so you don't find out no new ones supplied first thing in AM when you are half asleep. Same for milk , some days little cartons supplied , other days not , so black coffe those days, uinless you want to be bothered by staff bringing up milk, I suppose.

Location was convenient near the heart of Hobart, service staff was friendly and accomodating, bed was comfortable. There was a decent selection of hot drinks. TV was relatively modern with mobile screensharing which was a bonus for the time i was there. Room was mostly soundproof which was nice and blinds did a good job of blocking out city lights at night or the morning sun.

System to fill the Bath was pretty slow, wouldv'e been nice to have bath salts or something included. price for the included breakfast meant it wasn't great value so i didnt go for it.

The location was very good, we were able to walk to the centre , cafe, restaurants and museum and parking was easy to access as well. I and my husband were very impressed with all the staff with their service, especially front desk staffs were very helpful and friendly. And also the cafe food was nice and staff members were all friendly as well. We would love to stay here again if we come back to Hobart for our holiday.

No NETFLIX or other applications to watch movies.

Great hotel a short walk from the main harbour area. The rooms were clean and comfortable and relatively spacious. Nice bathroom, but would go to another comfort level with a better showerhead. Bed was comfortable, TV had basic channels only. The staff were very friendly and helpful. On our first night there was a very loud sound coming from the aircon around midnight - the staff were fantastic in moving us to another (upgraded) room within 20 mins of us notifying them. While it was somewhat annoying, these things happen and the staff handled it perfectly.

Nothing really, but as noted, a better showerhead would boost the comfort level of the rooms.

Excellent central location. The suite (corner suite around 35sqm) extremely well laid out and roomy. Great having the sliding doors to close off the bedroom if someone stayed up in the living area while someone else went to bed earlier. Plenty of hot water. Very clean and the room cleaned and refreshed with towels, face washers, bed made and room tidied, etc on schedule and to a high standard. Roomy bathroom with good lighting. Staff at the front desk absolutely brilliant - very friendly and helpful. Large comfortable bed. We were on the 10th floor and stayed 7 nights. Good views (water glimpses) and city view (factor in that this is not directly on the waterfront but very close). Defintely stay here again and recommend it.

The room was comfortable, spacious, and quiet. The staff were helpful and friendly. Location was great and the parking convenient. Although to begin with we did have to call the attendant as not aware we could use the reserved spots.

The on-site eatery was only a breakfast Cafe. This was small and easily crowded. Although ultimately due to the location there are other good options within a 5 minute walk.

I loved everything about this hotel. The staff were amazing and very professional, I really had a great experience with any members of the staff I encountered. Perfect location, and I could easily walk around to the waterfront and many restaurants. There is a grocery store nearby. Clean and updated rooms and facilities. Comfy beds. Rooms are well stocked and it was nice to have a kitchenette with a coffee and tea selection.

I would stay here again, loved every part of my stay.

Location was great. Walking distance to most places. Quick Uber otherwise. Room was a good size and clean. Onsite laundry facilities were great. Staff amazing. Coffee in cafe great! Beds were comfortable. Would stay again.

Air conditioning didn't cool the bedroom in the suite. Had to keep the curtains closed to keep the room cool.

My daughter and I came from Melbourne to visit a family member undergoing some serious surgery at RHH. The hospital was literally a five minute walk away (which made it ideal for us) and also perfectly located for us to walk everywhere else (shops, waterfront, Salamanca market etc). We were so grateful to be upgraded to a one bedroom apartment on the 10th floor (with amazing views) which was a wonderful gesture by Mantra Collins given the stressful and emotional reason we’d come to Hobart. The apartment was clean, super comfortable and even had a Nespresso machine which made it feel a bit like home! The staff were friendly, efficient and welcoming.

Nothing, I couldn’t fault Mantra Collins in any way.
